If the face is red, the pulse is surging (Hong Mai), or pus and blood are vomited, this indicates fire qi rushing upward, with heart and lung receiving heat, termed Yang toxicity; if the four limbs are cold and the pulse is deep and fine (Chen Xi Mai), this indicates cold accumulating in the lung, extreme cold generating heat, and damp-heat steaming, termed Yin toxicity. Treatment for Yang toxicity employs clearing the lung and transforming heat (Qing Fei Hua Re); treatment for Yin toxicity employs guiding fire back to its source (Yin Huo Gui Yuan). *Rehmanniae Radix Recens* (Sheng Di Huang), *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Recens* (Sheng Gan Cao), *Panacis Ginseng Radix* (Ren Shen), *Ophiopogonis Radix* (Mai Men Dong), *Schisandrae Fructus* (Bei Wu Wei Zi), *Asparagi Radix* (Tian Men Dong), *Armeniacae Semen Amarum* (Xing Ren), *Platycodonis Radix* (Jie Geng), *Rehmanniae Radix* (Sheng Di), *Puerariae Radix* (Tian Hua Fen). Decoct in water and take orally.

Shuang Qing Wan (Double Clearing Pill)
*Menthae Haplocalycis Herba* (Su Bo He), *Armeniacae Semen Amarum* (Xing Ren), *Platycodonis Radix* (Jie Geng), *Amomi Fructus Rotundus* (Sha Ren), *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma* (Gan Cao), *Scrophulariae Radix* (Xuan Shen).
Grind the above ingredients into an extremely fine powder. Form pills using refined honey, sized like seeds of *Euryale Ferox*, and hold them in the mouth to dissolve as needed.

Form the Three-Mountain Mudra (San Shan Jue) with the left hand, holding a cup of tea or wine. Form the Sword Mudra (Jian Jue) with the right hand facing east. (Depending on which bone is stuck, write the corresponding character inside the sleeve; for example, for a fish bone, write "Dragon" inside the sleeve, and so on.) Draw talismans inside the cup, then change to the Seal Mudra, writing the six characters "Snow Mountain Boy Descend Quickly" inside the cup. Silently recite: "I command Taishang Laojun, execute immediately according to law." Have the person with the stuck bone swallow it, and they will be cured immediately.
Another Mantra (Zhu You Science) Take one bowl of clean water, face east, and use the index finger to write inside the bowl: [Image] (If it is a pig bone, add the character "Tiger"; if a fish bone, add "Dragon"; if a chicken bone, add "Leopard".)
The incantation says: "The water bowl transforms into the Eastern Ocean, the throat transforms into a ten-thousand-fathom dragon pool, nine dragons return to their caves. I command Taishang Laojun, execute immediately according to law."

*Polyporus Umbellatus* (Ma Pi Bo - specifically those growing on mountains) 1 liang, *Trogopterori Coprolites* (Wu Ling Zhi) 3 qian, *Euphorbia pekinensis* (Hong Ya Da Ji) and *Myrobalanus Chebula Retusa* (Wu Bei Zi) each 2 qian.
Grind finely. Mix with duck and dog saliva to form pills the size of a longan seed. When encountering a stuck bone, dissolve one pill in sugar water and take it; it dissolves immediately.
Another Prescription A piece of *Paeoniae Radix Alba* (Bai Shao) two cun three fen long is bitten horizontally in the mouth to expel the bone. Or slice thinly, chew well, and swallow to dissipate it.

Chicken Bone Stuck in Throat
Juice extracted from fresh * Boehmeria nivea* root is drunk, dissolving the bone immediately.

Chicken/Goose/Pig/Fish Bone Stuck in Throat
Burn the root of *Crataegus pinnatifida* (Shan Zha) to ash, preserve its nature, grind finely, and insufflate into the throat three or four times to cause expulsion.
Another Prescription White nodules (Bai Ling) hanging from the home tree *Toona sinensis*, resembling milk drops, seven grains are ground with water and taken; the bone will pass out through the stool.

Another Prescription Use a clean hand to write the character "Dragon" on the throat, and write another "Dragon" character inside the water bowl. Sip and it will dissolve.
Another Prescription Crush cilantro (*Coriandrum sativum*) to extract juice, mix with a drop of vinegar, and swallow to expel immediately.
