Process with refined honey to make pills. Take 3 qian per dose, swallowed with warm water.

To repel fleas: On the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, harvest peach branches growing towards the east. Dry the roots of Acorus calamus (Chang Pu) in the shade. On the first day of the tenth lunar month, grind them into powder and sift it under mats to eradicate fleas at the root.
Another prescription: Spread fresh peach leaves flat, dry them in the sun, grind into powder. Lay the leaf powder down first, then sprinkle with a little water to eliminate fleas immediately.

Method to remove lice: Tie a thread soaked in mercury around the waist, then remove it.
Another prescription: Decoct *Stemona sessilifolia* root (Bai Bu) to wash clothes; all lice will be killed.

Treating mosquitoes: Burn eel bones. If unavailable, dried bones of other fish can be used. Burning them indoors turns mosquitoes into water.
Another prescription: At noon on the Dragon Boat Festival, place an ink stick inside a toad's belly, seal it, and dry in the shade. When using, grind the ink in an inkstone to make a thick liquid. Dip a brush in the ink and draw circles or gourd shapes (with small and large openings) on the wall. Mosquitoes will fly and gather into the circles. This ink can also be applied to treat swelling and sores.

Verified prescription: Place fresh Hydrangea flowers (Xiu Jiu Hua) at the four corners of the bed; the infestation will cease.
Another prescription: Burn silkworm excrement (Wan Can Sha) under the bed; bedbugs turn into water.
