Dampness condenses to form this mass, and fire pathogen is mixed within, therefore it cannot be touched by hand; pressing it causes unbearable pain. The treatment principle should be to vigorously tonify Spleen Qi while simultaneously dispersing dampness. However, since an abnormal shape has grown externally, eliminating it internally in a short time is difficult. One should employ a method of internal and external simultaneous attack, which will naturally result in the disease being cured upon administration. Internal decoction: Xiaoshi Huai Tang (Damp-Dispersing and Abnormality-Resolving Decoction) consists of Baizhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma), Qianshi (Euryales Semen), Yiren (Coicis Semen), each 1 liang; Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma) 5 qian; Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Fuling (Poria), Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen), Baijiezi (Sinapis Semen), Baifan (Alumen), Bixie (Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma), each 3 qian; Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), each 2 qian. Decoct in water and take orally. After two doses, use 1 liang of earthworm feces stir-fried, 5 qian of Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex) stir-fried, 3 qian of Ercha (Kadaka), 1 qian of Shuiyin (Hydrargyrum), 5 fen of Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum), Muxiang (Moschus), each 5 fen, and 1 fen of Pengsha (Borax). Grind together until no visible particles of Hydrargyrum remain. Mix with rice vinegar to form a paste and apply to the affected area; it will completely disappear in one day, showing extreme efficacy. This paste is effective for any masses when used both internally and externally, yielding immediate results. If a person feels itching in the intestines and stomach but has nowhere to scratch, feeling as if they have no place to stand, this is due to the stagnation and failure to dissipate Fire. The treatment principle should involve using dispersing herbs; Huayang Tang (Itch-Resolving Decoction) is suitable: Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix), Heishanzhi (Gardeniae Fructus carbonized), Tianhuafen (Trichosanthis Radix), each 3 qian; Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) 1 liang; Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) 2 qian. Decoct in water and take orally for cure. If human feces exit through the urine and urine exits through the feces, this is a syndrome of summer-heat in summer. Treatment with Wuling San (Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria) by physicians is also excellent. Now, simply use 3 liang of Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen), decoct in three bowls of water, and drink all at once for a cure. If someone passes five-colored stones in their urine, experiencing severe pain before urination and slight relief after, this is Shilin (Stone Strangury). Having intercourse after entering water, or entering water after intercourse, can cause this syndrome. Xiaoshi Dan (Stone-Dissolving Pill) is suitable: Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata), Shanyurou (Corni Fructus), Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma), each 3 liang; Fuling (Poria), Yiren (Coicis Semen), Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix), Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen), each 5 liang; Gusuibu (Drynariae Rhizoma) 2 liang; Qianshi (Euryales Semen), Qingyan (Natrii Chloridum), each 1 liang; Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex) 3 qian. Grind into powder, make pills with honey, and swallow 1 liang each morning and evening with plain boiled water. Within ten days, the suffering of passing stones will cease. This condition is extremely painful to develop; the desire to urinate without ability, yet the urge persists, with knife-like pain in the urethra. Using all strength to pass only one stone, making a crisp sound, which does not dissolve in water, is caused by the boiling and frying of Bladder Fire. The color may be red, white, yellow, green, or black, all resulting from water stagnation and fire boiling. The brilliance of this formula lies not in directly treating Stone Strangury, but in tonifying the insufficiency of Kidney Water. When Water is sufficient, Fire dissipates naturally; when Fire dissipates, Water transforms naturally, containing profound principles. If one treats only the Bladder, Qi cannot flow, and how can water be transformed? (The above is detailed in *Shishi Milu*).

If the eyeballs suddenly droop to the nose like black horns, causing unbearable blockage and pain, or if there is frequent bloody stool with pain, it is named Liver Distension (Ganzhang). Use Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizomatis et Radix) alone, decoct in juice, and drink several cups for self-healing. (*Xia Zi Yi Qiji Fang*)

Xu Zhicai said: Seeing five-colored objects in the air is caused by excessive sexual desire leading to severe deficiency. It should be treated with tonic drinks. (*Rumen*)

*Rumen* states: Seeing everything upside down in the eyes must be due to repeated vomiting affecting the upper Jiao, causing the Gallbladder organ to invert, thus seeing things upside down. The treatment principle uses Goudi (Cucumeritis Fructus) and Licui (Veratris Rhizoma) to induce vomiting again to correct the Gallbladder position. (*Rumen*)

*Defang* states: After persistent chills and fever for many days, limbs become hard as stone, sounding like bells or chimes when struck, with gradual emaciation. Wuzyuyu (Evodiae Fructus) and Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix) in equal parts, decocted and taken, leads to self-healing. It also states: Finger joints are broken, connected only by tendons without joint flesh, worms emerge like lamp wicks, several feet long, covering the body in green, named Xueyu (Blood Remainder). Chifuling (Polyporus) and Huhuanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) decocted and taken. It also says: Limb joints dislocated, connected only by skin, unable to move, named Jinjie (Tendon Loosening). Soak Huanglu (Phytolaccae Radix) 3 liang in wine, dry overnight, grind to powder, take 2 qian with wine. It also says: A person feels their body becoming two people lying together, unable to distinguish true from false, unresponsive to speech or questions, named Lihun (Soul Separation). Chen Sha (Cinnabar), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Baifuling (Poria) decocted thickly and taken; the true spirit becomes clear, the false dissipates.

Rectal prolapse is named Jiechang (Intestine Cut-off). Protrusion of one cun initially is treatable; complete protrusion is untreatable. Sit on a vessel containing sesame oil, drink several sheng of Tianmazhi (Cannabis Seed) juice for cure.

Lice emergence strange disease: Lice emerge all over the body before sleep, flesh and blood deteriorate, increasing nightly, unbearable pain and itch, bleeding from tongue tip, black teeth and body, moving lips and opening nostrils. Drinking salt and vinegar water for half a month brings peace. (*Qiji Fang*)

Muscle and tendon transforming into worms: Worms like crabs walk under the skin, making sounds like crying infants. Urgently use Xionghuang (Realgar) and Leiwan (Wormwood Fruit) 1 liang ground to powder, sprinkle on pork, roast thoroughly and eat all for self-healing. (*Qiji Fang*)

Broken Intestine Syndrome: Abdomen ruptures, intestines protrude, foul smell from nose. Immediately smear intestines with sesame oil, push them back in by hand, decoct Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) and Gouqi (Lycii Fructus) to rinse, skin heals naturally. Eat sheep kidney porridge for ten days for cure. (*Qiji Fang*)

Breast Suspension: After childbirth, women's breasts elongate and thin like intestines, hanging below the abdomen, unbearable pain, named Breast Suspension. Use Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) and Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) 2 jin each. Take half a jin, grind to powder, decoct in water in a clay pot, take at any time. Keep remaining 1.5 jin, cut into large pieces, burn slowly in an incense burner to produce smoke, place under the table in front of the patient. Ensure continuous smoke. Let the patient lie face down on the table, inhaling the smoke through mouth, nose, and diseased breasts. If not cured after medicine is exhausted, repeat decoction and smoke inhalation. If two doses are exhausted and breasts retract but do not return to normal, grind one Biba (Ricini Semen) seed with cold water, apply to top of head for a moment, then wash off for full recovery. Strange Rash Syndrome: Red eyes, flared nostrils, heavy panting, rash all over body, hair like copper, indicates Heat-Toxin knotting in Lower Jiao. Use Baifan (Alumen) and Huashi (Talcum) 1 liang each, grind to powder, take as one dose, decoct in three bowls of water to half, drink continuously for cure. (*Qiji Fang*)

Eyebrow trembling, eyes unable to close, unresponsive to calls, but able to eat. If ineffective for days, use 3 liang of garlic, extract juice, mix with wine and take for cure. (*Caiyi Shu*)

Numb Bone Syndrome: Death from numbness spreading from crown to heart pit, or from sole to knee. Use human excrement burnt to ash, mixed with tofu milk and drunk to stop. (*Wanbing Huichun*)

Qi Rush Strange Disease: Sudden rumbling sound under skin like waves, unbearable itch, scratching causes bleeding without relief, named Qi Ben (Qi Rush). Use Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Qingyan (Natrii Chloridum), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) 1 liang each, take as one dose, decoct in one large bowl of water, sip slowly, cure upon finishing. Pulse Overflow: Blood oozes from hair follicles. If blood does not exit, skin swells like a balloon; soon eyes, ears, mouth, and nose close due to Qi swelling, named Pulse Overflow. Drink one cup of Ginger Juice and one cup of water for peace. (*Qifang Shiyian*)

Large Intestine Worm Movement: Unable to sit or lie still. Use Heshi (Chrysanthemi Indici Caulis) ash mixed with water, 5 qian taken for self-healing. (*Qizheng Danfang*)

Malignant Flesh Toxic Sore: A fourteen-year-old girl had a bean-sized growth on her soft wrist, half embedded in flesh, red-purple, very painful. A physician used 4 liang of Shuiyin (Hydrargyrum), rubbed between two sheets of white paper until soft, applied for three days, and it fell off naturally. (*Li Lou Guaizheng Fang*)

Formerly, a scholar had legs that were neither sore nor painful, but during movement, they did not obey commands, twisting left then falling right, or twisting right then falling left, walking zigzaggingly, unable to walk straight. Sun Wen Yuan attributed this to weak tendons failing to bind bones. Used Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Huangqi (Astragali Radix), Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) to tonify Lung Metal; Yiren (Coicis Semen), Hugu (Tiger Bone - note: protected species, historical context), Guiban (Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum), Duzhong (Eucommiae Cortex) to strengthen sinews and bones; Tiehua Fen (Iron Flower Powder) to control Liver Wood.
