陈实功曰∶雀斑，乃肾水不能荣华于上，火滞结而为斑。治当六味地黄丸以滋
化源，搽洗兼施。（《正宗》）
又曰∶面生黑斑，乃水亏不能制火，血弱不能华肉，以致火燥结成斑，黑色枯不
泽。宜服肾气丸以滋化源，用玉容丸早晚擦之。
玉容丸 男妇雀斑、酒刺及身体皮肤粗糙。
甘松 明天麻 本 北细辛 白蔹 白僵蚕 防风 山栀仁 川椒 香白芷 荆芥 密陀僧 山茶
枯白矾 白芨 檀香末 羌活 甘菊花 独活（各一钱） 红枣肉（七枚）
磨细末，用去净弦膜肥皂一斤同捶作丸。如秋冬加生蜜五钱，如皮肤粗槁加牛
骨髓三钱。早晚洗之，肌肤自然莹洁如玉，温润细腻。
玉肌散 一切风湿、雀斑、酒刺、白屑风、皮肤作痒。
白附子 白芷 滑石（各二钱）
加绿豆半升研细。每用三匙，早晚洗面。
改容丸
大贝母（去心） 白附子 菊花叶 防风 白芷 滑石（各五钱）
共为细末。用大肥皂十荚蒸熟，去筋膜捣丸，同药做丸，早晚擦面。
又方
白丁香（五钱，即小鹊粪） 鹰粪（三钱） 羊蹄根（二两） 白附子（一两） 白蔹（八钱） 白芨（七钱）
共研末。肥皂一斤去皮弦，同药捣丸擦于面上。
又方
雄雀粪 瓦花（各等分）
研细同菜油调，搽一月即光。
又方
霜梅肉 樱桃枝 牙皂角 紫浮萍
共捣丸，擦面。
又方 萆麻仁同肥皂捶擦。

共研细，蜜捣做饼，洗面时擦之。
玉盘散 男妇面上雀斑、粉刺。
白牵牛 甘松 香附 天花粉（各一两） 本 白蔹 白芷 白附子 宫粉 白芨 大黄（各五钱）
肥皂一斤捶烂同药和匀，每日擦面有效。
玉容肥皂 去白瘢、黑点、白癣、诸般疮痕，令人面色好。
白芷 白附子 白蒺藜 白僵蚕 白芨 白丁香 甘松 草乌 杏仁 绿豆粉（各一两） 儿茶（三钱）
密陀僧 樟脑（各五钱） 白蔹 三柰 猪牙皂（各四钱） 肥皂（去裹外皮筋并子，只取净肉一茶盅）
轻粉（三钱）
先将肥皂肉捣烂入鸡子清和，晒去气息，将各药末同肥皂鸡子清和丸，擦面。
澡豆方（洛生） 雀印或面生疮疖，疤痕色变赤黑，大效。
密陀僧（另研） 甘松 杏仁（生用） 白芷 蛇床子（各一两） 白果肉（四十个） 萆麻仁（四十九
粒） 白蒺藜（杵去刺） 白牵牛（酒浸，各三两） 白僵蚕（二两） 肥皂（去皮弦子三斤，捣细）
同药末为丸，早晚擦面，洗去。
Chen Shigong stated: Freckles are caused by the failure of Kidney Water to nourish the upper body, leading to the stagnation and accumulation of Fire, which manifests as spots. Treatment should involve taking Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill) to nourish the source of transformation and generation, combined with external washing applications. He further stated: Black spots on the face result from Yin deficiency failing to control Fire, and Blood weakness failing to nourish the flesh, causing Fire and Dryness to coagulate into spots that appear withered and lusterless. It is appropriate to take Shenqi Wan (Kidney Qi Pill) to nourish the source of transformation and generation, and use Yurong Wan (Jade Face Pill) for morning and evening application.
Yurong Wan: Indicated for freckles in men and women, acne vulgaris (wine pimples), and rough skin on the body.
Ingredients: Nardostachys Radix et Rhizoma (Gansong), Gastrodiae Rhizoma (Miantianma), Ligustici Rhizoma et Radix (Ben), Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Beixixin), Ampelopsis Radix (Bailian), Bombyx Batryticatus (Baijiangcan), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Gardeniae Fructus (Shanzhiren), Zanthoxyli Pericarpium (Chuanjiao), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Xiangbaizhi), Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjie), Lithargyri Pulvis (Mituoseng), Camelliae Semen (Shancha), Alum (Kubaifan), Bletillae Rhizoma (Baiji), Santalum Album Lignum (Tanxiangmo), Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo), Chrysanthemi Flos (Ganjuhua), and Angelicae Pubescentis Radix (Duhuo) (1 qian each), Jujubae Fructus (Hongzaorou) (7 pieces).
Preparation and Administration: Grind into a fine powder. Pound together with one jin of soap free of strings and membranes to form pills. In autumn and winter, add 5 qian of raw honey; if the skin is rough and dry, add 3 qian of ox marrow. Wash the face morning and evening with this; the skin will naturally become clear and pure like jade, warm, moist, and delicate.
Yuji San: Indicated for various wind-dampness conditions, freckles, acne vulgaris, pityriasis versicolor or seborrheic dermatitis (white scale wind), and pruritus.
Ingredients: Typhonii Rhizoma (Baifuzi), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Talcum (Huashi) (2 qian each).
Preparation and Administration: Add half sheng of mung beans and grind finely. Use three spoons each time, morning and evening, to wash the face.
Gairong Wan:
Ingredients: Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus (Dabeimu, heart removed), Typhonii Rhizoma (Baifuzi), Chrysanthemi Folium (Juhua ye), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Talcum (Huashi) (5 qian each).
Preparation and Administration: Grind into a fine powder. Steam ten large pods of soap until cooked, remove fascia, pound into a paste, mix with the medicinal powder to form pills, and apply to the face morning and evening.

Ingredients: Streptopelia turtur Droppings (Baidingxiang, 5 qian, i.e., small dove droppings), Accipiter Droppings (Yingfen, 3 qian), Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma (Yangtigen), Typhonii Rhizoma (Baifuzi, 1 liang), Ampelopsis Radix (Bailian, 8 qian), Bletillae Rhizoma (Baiji, 7 qian).
Preparation and Administration: Grind into powder. Remove skin and strings from one jin of soap, pound together with the medicine to form pills, and apply to the face.

Ingredients: Male Sparrow Droppings (Xiongquefen), Roof Tile Moss/Wa Hua (equal parts).
Preparation and Administration: Grind finely and mix with rapeseed oil. Apply for one month to achieve smooth skin.

Ingredients: Plum Flesh Frozen by Frost (Shuangmeirou), Cherry Branch (Yingtaozhi), Gleditsia Sinensis Spine/Bean (Yazaojiao), Azolla Pinnata (Zifuping).
Preparation and Administration: Pound together to form pills and apply to the face.

Preparation and Administration: Grind finely, pound with honey to make cakes, and rub on the face while washing.
Yupan San: Indicated for freckles and comedones on the faces of men and women.
Ingredients: Pharbitidis Semen (Baiqianniu), Nardostachys Radix et Rhizoma (Gansong), Cyperi Rhizoma (Xiangfu), Trichosanthis Radix (Tianhuafen) (1 liang each), Ligustici Rhizoma et Radix (Ben), Ampelopsis Radix (Bailian), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Typhonii Rhizoma (Baifuzi), Chinese Cosmetic Powder (Gongfen), Bletillae Rhizoma (Baiji), Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang) (5 qian each).
Preparation and Administration: Pound one jin of soap until broken down, mix evenly with the medicines, and apply to the face daily for effectiveness.
Yurong Soap: Used to remove white scars, black spots, white tinea versicolor, and various scar marks, improving facial complexion.
Ingredients: Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Typhonii Rhizoma (Baifuzi), Tribuli Fructus (Bajili), Bombyx Batryticatus (Baijiangcan), Bletillae Rhizoma (Baiji), Streptopelia turtur Droppings (Baidingxiang), Nardostachys Radix et Rhizoma (Gansong), Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix (Caowu), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren), Phaseoli Radiati Semen Pulvis (Lvdoufen) (1 liang each), Myrobalani Fructus (Ercha, 3 qian), Lithargyri Pulvis (Mituoseng), Camphora (Zhangnao) (5 qian each), Ampelopsis Radix (Bailian), Costi Radix (Sannai), Gleditsia Sinensis Fructus (Zhuyazao) (4 qian each), Soap (remove outer skin, strings, and seeds, take only clean meat equivalent to one tea cup), Calomelas (Qingfen, 3 qian).
Preparation and Administration: First, pound the soap meat until broken down, mix with egg white, and sun-dry to remove odors. Then, mix all medicinal powders with the soap and egg white to form pills, and apply to the face.
Zaodou Formula (from Luosheng): Highly effective for freckle marks or facial boils/abscesses where scars turn red-black.
Ingredients: Lithargyri Pulvis (Mituoseng, ground separately), Nardostachys Radix et Rhizoma (Gansong), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren, raw), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi) (1 liang each), White Date Kernels (Baiguorou, 40 pieces), Ricinus Communis Seed (Bimaren, 49 seeds), Tribuli Fructus (Bajili, pounded to remove spines), Pharbitidis Semen (Baiqianniu, soaked in wine), Bombyx Batryticatus (Baijiangcan, 2 liang), Soap (remove skin, strings, and seeds, 3 jin, pounded finely).
Preparation and Administration: Mix with medicinal powders to form pills. Rub on the face morning and evening, then wash off.
