This is the combination of Sijunzi Tang (Four Gentlemen Decoction) and Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction), used to treat liver and spleen damage with Qi and Blood deficiency, manifesting as aversion to cold and fever, or irritability and thirst, or chest and diaphragm discomfort, and dry constipation.
This is Bazhen Tang (Eight Treasures Decoction) minus Ren Shen (Ginseng Root), plus Qin Jiao (Rhizoma Gentianae Macrophyllae), Shi Gao (Gypsum Fibrosum), Qiang Huo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Du Huo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix), Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix), Bai Zhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix) (each 1 liang), and Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) (5 qian). It treats wind pathogens without manifestations of the Six Channels, and internally without obstruction in urination or defecation; this occurs because Blood deficiency fails to nourish the sinews, resulting in immobility of the limbs and stiff tongue with inability to speak.
Combining Sijunzi Tang (Four Gentlemen Decoction) and Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction), adding Huang Qi (Astragali Radix) and Rou Gui (Cinnamomi Cortex), it treats various deficiencies and insufficiencies in men and women, five labors and seven injuries, generating Blood and benefiting Qi, and tonifying the Spleen and Stomach.
This is the combination of Sijunzi Tang (Four Gentlemen Decoction) and Erchen Tang (Two Aged Substances Decoction), minus Gan Cao (Licorice Root), plus Chuan Xiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome), which regulates Qi, resolves phlegm, stops vomiting, harmonizes the Middle, benefits Qi, and tonifies the Stomach.

If spontaneous sweating persists and other medicines fail to stop it, one must regulate Heart Blood. Since sweat is the fluid of the Heart, and Heart malnourishment fails to control Blood, causing it to overflow as sweat, this formula governs such cases. If there is slight heat, add Shi Hu (Dendrobii Caulis).
Using Shiquan Dabu Tang (Perfect Golden Great Tonifying Decoction) minus Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), plus Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Qin Jiao (Rhizoma Gentianae Macrophyllae), Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Du Huo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix), Du Zhong (Eucommiae Cortex), Niu Xi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Xu Duan (Dipsaci Radix). These constitute one dose, decocted with two zhong of water, three slices of Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), and one Da Zao (Jujubae Fructus), until one zhong remains. Take at any time.
