When food enters the stomach and is vomited immediately, this is due to Liver Wood overacting on Spleen Earth. Treat with Xiaoyao San (Free and Easy Wanderer Powder) added with Evodiae Fructus (Wuzhuyu) and stir-fried Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), which yields immediate results. Unfortunately, people often mistakenly use warm-hot medicines.
Hexiang stated: This formula purely tonifies Essence and Blood. When Yin Water is sufficient, the Kidneys contain Essence, and the Large Intestine has fluid lubrication, naturally allowing upper and lower communication without the risk of obstruction.
[Note: The original text contains significant corruption and missing characters in the middle section regarding a prescription involving Yanhusuo, Wulingzhi, etc., and a reference to Lv Daxian's Dayuan San. The translation below reflects the visible entities and structure.]
Use Corydalis Rhizoma (Yanhusuo), Trogopterori Faeces (Wulingzhi), Alpiniae Katsumadai Semen (Caodoukou), and Myrrha (Moyao), each 5 qian. Grind into an extremely fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, washed down with wine, twice daily (morning and evening), resulting in immediate effect.
It is also said: Lü Daxian’s Dayuan San (Reaching Origin Powder) is most excellent, capable of treating hundreds of diseases; why is it not transmitted? Use White Rhinoceros Horn (Baixijiao) 2 liang (preferably white throughout, crushed into fragments)... [Text corruption follows regarding preparation methods, dates like Tianyi day, symptoms like cold qi, throat closure, breast issues, gender-specific application points, causes like raw/cold foods, anger, labor, and using aged rice stir-fried and boiled as porridge soup]. Liu Xian said: An absolutely superb good formula.
Kanhua Tongzi said: Headache, pain in hands and feet, both arms, both shoulders and back, and pain below the waist need not be treated by dissection or surgery; it can be treated holistically.
Huazhenren said: Excellent. People are unaware that headache, persisting for years, allows pathogenic factors to deeply penetrate the brain. How can a few qian of powder reach the vertex? ... First scatter ... Di Wu ...
Liuxian said: I have a formula using Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu) 5 qian, Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao) 3 qian, Magnoliae Flos (Xinyi) 3 qian, Prunus Li (Yuliren) 5 qian, Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong) 5 qian, Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng) 3 qian.
Liuzhenren said: Brain pain is caused by Wind invading the Gallbladder Meridian; since the Gallbladder corresponds to the brain, pain occurs. People use too much Chaihu, which is overly acrid and dispersing, forgetting that Baishao serves to...

Landaxian said: For shoulder, arm, and elbow pain, also use Yellow Wine 2 jin, Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) 3 liang, Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao) 3 liang, Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu) 5 qian, Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo) 3 qian, Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum (Banxia) 3... drunk until intoxicated...
Handaxian said: Arm and shoulder pain are diseases of the Hand Meridians, stemming from Liver Qi stagnation. The brilliance lies in using Baishao as the Sovereign herb to soothe and level Liver Wood Qi, preventing it from overacting on Spleen... Once Wind pathogens are expelled and Phlegm does not remain, combined with Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi) penetrating all meridians, how can residual pathogens survive? Naturally, one intoxication leads to cure.
Huazhenren said: For pain in both legs and below the waist, use Yellow Wine 2 sheng, [Missing Herb] half jin, Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) 5 qian, Coicis Semen (Yiren) 5 liang, Eucommiae Cortex (Duzhong) 1 liang, Poria (Fuling)...
Caodaxian said: Waist and foot pain clearly indicate Kidney Deficiency and Qi decline leading to immobility. Adding warmth is clever because it does not directly tonify the Kidney but solely boosts Qi; when Qi is sufficient, Blood is generated... Wind... 8 fen...
There is another formula for treating waist pain as if by divine power. Use Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu) 3 liang, Euryales Semen (Qianshi) 2 liang, Coicis Semen (Yiren) 3 liang. Decoct in water and take orally; one dose cures it. Elderly people may fear... This formula also treats nocturnal emission; one dose suffices.
Hedaxian said: For headaches caused by Wind-Cold, wine is suitable; for those caused by Fire Pathogens, tea is suitable.
