Taste: Bitter. Nature: Neutral. Indications: Primarily treats blood stasis, amenorrhea (blood closure), Zha-xie (abdominal masses and pathogenic factors), and kills small insects. Peach blossoms can expel malignant ghosts causing Zhu-bing (infectious or epidemic diseases), improving complexion. Taofu (Wild duck eggs fed on peaches, a specific traditional medicinal item): Mildly warm. Primarily treats expulsion of essence entities of a hundred ghosts. Taomao (Peach fuzz/hairs): Primarily treats lower bleeding (hematochezia or hematuria), abdominal masses, alternating chills and fever, accumulation of cold, and infertility.
