Treatment for newborns with total absence of skin, exposing only red flesh:
Apply dry early-rice flour to the affected area until new skin grows. Alternatively, apply a paste made from Fulonggan (Caulis Longan / Hearth Soil) and egg white.

To ensure sparse smallpox lesions and prevent sores or boils in newborns, administer this medicine immediately after birth:
