Penile Carbuncle (Zhun Ju) and Blood Wind Sores (Xue Feng Chuang)
When these two conditions manifest: one is a carbuncle on the penis; if located near the urethra or anus, it is difficult to treat; if located on solid flesh, it is stable and easier to treat.
For men or women, blood wind sores on the feet are easy to cure. However, if the infection spreads downward from the feet and upward to the hands, it is difficult to treat.
Dorsal Foot Sore
This condition originates from Xiao Ke disease (Wasting and Thirsting syndrome, often corresponding to diabetes mellitus). When it manifests on the toes, it is named Tuo Ju (Gangrene of the Toes). If the color is red-black, death ensues and it is untreatable; if not red-black, it is treatable. If treatment fails to subside the condition, urgent amputation is required to save life. If not amputated, turning red-black leads inevitably to death.
If treated at the initial stage, patients with Xiao Ke should consume Liu Qi Yin, Kushen Wan, and Jiedu Shengji Yao (Detoxifying and Flesh-Regenerating Medicine) for emergency treatment.
For this specific eruption, use Tung oil (Verniciae Folium Oil) and Hematite (Wumingyi), boil until bubbling, add one spoonful of Sichuan peppercorn (Huajiao). Cut Polygonum multiflorum leaves (Liaoye) according to the sore's size and boil together. After soaking for seven days, apply the leaf alone to the sore for relief. For finger carbuncles, the same treatment applies.
