Pulse floating with fever, or accompanied by muscle stiffness and spasms, should be treated by dispersing exterior pathogens. Pulse deep with fever and constipation requires resolving the exterior and purging the interior. Fever with red and scanty urine requires separating fluids to drain dampness and detoxifying.
A child suffered from this condition, with painful and hot lesions, and a floating, rapid pulse. The toxic fluid was drained by pricking, followed by topical application of powder made from Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) and Talcum (Huashi). Subsequently, Jingfang Baidu San was administered orally; after two doses, the patient recovered.
A male patient experienced painful and hot lesions. After taking wind-dispelling and heat-clearing herbs, symptoms worsened. His pulse was deep and solid, indicating pathogenic factors within. One dose of Fangfeng Tongsheng San resulted in immediate recovery; subsequently, Jingfang Baidu San was given for two doses to stabilize the condition. Although this disease belongs to wind-heat, one must examine whether the pathogen is in the exterior or interior to avoid treatment errors.
A child presented with red, hot lesions. Topical application of Huangbai and Huashi powder was used, followed by oral administration of Dalianqiao Tang for two doses, which slightly alleviated symptoms. Finally, Jinyinhua San was used to achieve complete recovery.

Lianqiao, Qumai, Jingjie, Mutong, Shaoyao, Dang Gui (stirred with wine), Chantui, Gancao, Fangfeng, Chaihu, Huashi, Zhizi.
Jinyinhua San (See "Thirst" section)
(Note: In recent times called Yangmei Chuang [Syphilis/Kaposi's varicelliform eruption]. Cases starting from the throat are still found in the "Throat" section.)
For dampness predominance, guide out dampness first. For exterior excess, resolve the exterior first. For interior excess, unblock the interior first. For excess in both exterior and interior, resolve the exterior and purge the interior. For exterior deficiency, tonify Qi. For interior deficiency, tonify Blood. For deficiency in both, tonify Qi and Blood.
A male patient had lesions on the penis, with swelling and pain. First, Daoshui Wan and Longdan Xiegan Tang were taken four times each, resulting in slight improvement. Then, Xiaochaihu Tang added with Huangbai and Cangzhu was taken for over fifty doses to resolve the condition.
A male patient had swollen and ulcerated penis with red urine. The liver meridian pulse was wiry and rapid. Xiaochaihu Tang added with Mutong, Qingpi, and Longdancao was taken for four doses; followed by Longdan Xiegan Tang for several doses, leading to recovery.
A young boy had lesions on the penis extending to several painful spots on the lower abdomen, with fever. Xiaochaihu Tang was taken with Lulu Wan swallowed, and Shenyi Gao was applied externally. After more than a month, the condition stabilized.
A male patient had lesions all over the body. The left hand pulse was floating and rapid. Jingfang Baidu San was used to treat it, resolving the exterior syndrome. Six doses of Xianfang Huoming Yin gradually healed the sores. Combined with Bixie Tang, full recovery took over a month.
A female patient had painful lesions, constipation, and thirst. The pulse was deep and solid. Neishu Huanglian Tang was taken for two doses, resolving the interior syndrome. Longdan Xiegan Tang was taken for several doses, rapidly reducing toxin-related sores. Intermittent use of Bixie Tang led to recovery after over a month.

After recovery, a male patient had a hard swelling on the leg that did not ulcerate or heal for a long time. Mashed garlic was applied topically, and moxibustion with garlic partition was performed. Shenyi Gao was applied, and Heiwanzi along with interior-supporting herbs were taken. Recovery took two months.
A female patient burned Qingfen (calomel) medicine and fumigated herself under blankets, causing widespread skin collapse and dripping pus, making movement impossible. Equal parts of Huashi, Huangbai, and Luzhudou powder were spread on the mat for her to lie on. Jinyinhua San was administered orally, leading to recovery after over a month.
A male patient recovered but had a very hard swelling on the back that did not ulcerate for over a year. It eventually ulcerated, discharging pus for three years without healing. With Qi and Blood deficiency and poor appetite, Liujunzi Tang added with Dang Gui and Huoxiang was taken for over thirty doses, showing slight improvement. Bixie Tang was then drunk for over two months until recovery.
A male patient had severe disease progression with concurrent Spleen and Stomach Qi and Blood deficiency. Taking the previous formulas also led to recovery.
A female patient recovered except for palm-sized ulcers on both thighs and groins, accompanied by tendon contraction and bone pain. Unhealed for three years and unresponsive to various medicines, she experienced afternoon fever. Bazhen Tang added with Niuxi, Duzhong, and Mugua was taken for over thirty doses, leading to recovery.

Shenyi Gao is highly effective for treating carbuncles, sores, and toxins; it is the premier remedy for ulcerative diseases.
Lufengfang (1 liang, preferably with many larvae), Shetui (washed in salt water and dried, 0.5 liang), Xuanshen (0.5 liang), Huangqi (3 qian), Nanrenfa (washed, amount equal to an egg), Xingren (de-skinned and de-seeded, 1 liang), Huangdan (12 liang), Zhenmayou (2 jin). First, decoct Xuanshen, Xingren, and Huangqi in oil. When nearly ready, drop into water and knead until the consistency is medium-hard to form the plaster.
Bixie Tang treats Yangmei Chuang regardless of new or old ulcers, or bone/joint pain. Use Chuanbixie (commonly known as Tufuling)... (For cases involving Qi and Blood issues, this single herb serves as the main component, supplemented by formulas addressing concurrent symptoms.)
Lulu Wan (See "Chancre" section)
Another Rapid Method: Treats Yangmei Chuang effectively regardless of stage, within ten days. Use Danfan, Baifan powder, and Shuiyin (mercury), each 3.5 qian. Mix with Xiangyou... Apply again as before. After finishing the medication, lie down. Sweating, passage of foul stool, or expulsion of foul saliva indicates efficacy. Apply for three consecutive days, then bathe with decoction of Tongsheng San. Take Neishu Huanglian Tang or Baidu San afterwards. After recovery, take Bixie Tang; add Huangqin and Huanglian for heat, Renshen and Huangqi for Qi deficiency, and Siwu Tang for Blood deficiency.
