**Taichong (LR3)** is located 2 cun proximal to the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe (another view says 1.5 cun), in the depression between the bones where the arterial pulse is felt. Another view states it is 2 cun above Xingjian, where a collateral vessel connects horizontally to the gap between the Diwuhui area and the bone, with an palpable arterial pulse in the depression. This point is the Shu-Stream point (Shu-Stream point, where the Qi pours in) of the Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian and is also the Yuan-Source point. Needle 3 fen, retain for ten breaths, moxa 3 cones.

**Jimai (LR12)**: *Qi Fu Lun* states: "One Jimai point in each side of the pubic hair region of Jueyin." Wang Bing's commentary states: Located in the pubic hair, on both sides of the genitals, 2.5 cun apart (body-inch measurement); pressing feels hard, and deep pressure causes pain radiating up and down. Cold affecting the left side pulls to the lower abdomen and testicles, causing pain, indicating cold in the lower abdomen. These two vessels are major collaterals of Jueyin passing through, hence named Jueyin Jimai, which is the cord of the testis. Moxibustion is permitted, but needling is contraindicated; for hernia and lower abdominal pain, moxibustion is applicable. Note: This point is absent in texts from *Jia Yi Jing* onwards, likely an omission. *Jing Mai Pian* states: "Foot Jueyin follows the medial thigh into the pubic region, passing over the genitals." And: "Its branch ascends along the shin to the testis and knots at the penis." This is actually the main channel of Jueyin meeting the Yangming Meridian, so it is added here.
