The Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian is the Fu-organ of the Kidney; the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian is the Fu-organ of the Liver; the Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian is the Fu-organ of the Spleen; the Hand-Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian is the Fu-organ of the Heart; the Hand-Shaoyang Sanjiao (Triple Burner) Meridian is the Fu-organ of the Pericardium; and the Hand-Yangming Large Intestine Meridian is the Fu-organ of the Lung. The terms mentioned in this chapter generally refer to the Qi-acupoints of the six Fu-organs, hence they are called "Qi-fu" (Acupoints of Qi). Later, the Du Mai (Governing Vessel), Ren Mai (Conception Vessel), and Chong Mai (Penetrating Vessel) were added, which belong to the three of the Eight Extraordinary Vessels, along with the Hand and Foot Shaoyin and Jueyin meridians, as well as the Yin Qiao Mai and Yang Qiao Mai, to total 365 acupoints.

There are 78 acupoints where the Qi of the Foot-Taiyang meridian emerges: (This count includes acupoints where Qi floats thinly and communicates; it should be 93 points, not 78. There are 78 points where the main meridian Qi emerges, and 15 points where floating Qi communicates, making up the total.) One point on each side at the inner ends of the eyebrows (referring to Zanzhu BL-2; the depth of insertion and moxibustion dosage are the same as those described in the Acupoints Chapter). From the hairline to the nape at a distance of 3.5 cun, there are five rows on each side, spaced 3 cun apart. (Note: The New Correction states: "The commentary mentions Dazhu BL-11 and Fengmen BL-12, two points each, with insertion and moxibustion methods identical to the Acupoints Chapter. However, Fengmen BL-12 is not listed in the Acupoints Chapter, yet the commentary claims identical methods, revealing an error in this note. Upon detailed examination, 'from the hairline to the nape at 3.5 cun, five rows on each side, spaced 3 cun' likely refers to the following five rows of five floating Qi acupoints in the skin. Also, 'nape' seems to be a miswriting for 'vertex,' and the character 'half' is superfluous. The reason for saying 'from the hairline to the vertex' is that from Xinhui GV-22 at the hairline to Baihui GV-20 at the vertex is 3 cun, and from Baihui GV-20 to Houding GV-19 is another 3 cun, hence 'from the hairline to the vertex is 3 cun.' 'Five rows on each side' means there are five rows including the midline. 'Spaced 3 cun' refers to measuring 3 cun left, right, front, and back from Baihui GV-20, forming five rows of five points, totaling 25 points. Moreover, Dazhu BL-11 is located below the first thoracic vertebra on both sides, and Fengmen BL-12 is below the second thoracic vertebra; the distance from the hairline exceeds 3.5 cun, so the error is obvious.") The floating Qi in the skin comprises five rows, with five points per row, totaling 25 points. (Floating Qi refers to Qi that floats and can disperse heat. The five rows refer to the area from 2 cun inside the hairline to behind the vertex. Among the 25 points, the midline consists of Xinhui GV-22, Qian Ding GV-21, Baihui GV-20, Houding GV-19, and Jiangjian GV-18, belonging to the Du Mai (Governing Vessel); the next two flanking rows consist of Wuchu GB-13, Chengguang GB-14, Tongtian BL-7, Luoque BL-9, and Yuzhen BL-11, five points each, belonging to the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian; the subsequent two flanking rows consist of Linqi GB-15, Muchuang GB-16, Zhengying GB-17, Chengling GB-18, and Naokong GB-20, five points each, belonging to the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian; the outermost four rows have five points each, totaling 20 points, plus the midline's 5 points, equals 25. The insertion and moxibustion methods are the same as for Shu Re acupoints. Note: The scripture says floating Qi in the skin comprises five rows, implying that among all parts of the body, only the scalp is thin and adheres closely to the bone, making the flow of Qi within it the most superficial, unlike the deeper tissues of the body. Thus, it is called floating Qi in the skin. However, the head is the summit of all Yang meridians, and the pathogenic factors of the Six Excesses (Wind, Cold, Summerheat, Dampness, Dryness, Fire/Cold) must attack it first; Wind, Heat, Summerheat, Dampness, Dryness, and Cold can all cause disease. The commentary only mentions dispersing heat, which is biased.) One point on each side beside the large tendon in the middle of the nape (referring to Tianzhu BL-10; insertion and moxibustion methods are the same as the Acupoints Chapter). One point on each side beside Fengfu GV-16 (referring to Fengchi GB-20; insertion and moxibustion methods are the same as the Acupoints Chapter. Note: The New Correction states: "'Jia Yi Jing' [Systematic Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion] states Fengchi GB-20 is the meeting of the Foot-Shaoyang and Yang Wei Mai (Yang Linking Vessel), not an emergence point of the Taiyang meridian. The scripture says 'beside Fengfu GV-16,' which corresponds to the location of Tianzhu BL-10. This also clarifies the points beside the large tendon in the nape mentioned above. This note adds Fengchi GB-20 outside the count of 93, and further adds Dazhu BL-11, Fengmen BL-12, and these two Fengchi GB-20 points, totaling six extra points.") Below the nape, flanking the back down to the sacrum and coccyx (21 segments), one point in each of the 15 interspaces. Of these, the current Zhigao Kongxue Tujing [Illustrated Classic of Acupoints] records 13 points, totaling 26 points on both sides: Fufen BL-41, Pohu BL-42, Shentang BL-44, Geshu BL-17 (implied by context/missing char in source text but identified as Ge Guan later or similar sequence, actually source lists specific names), Hunmen BL-47, Yanggang BL-48, Yishe BL-49, Weicang BL-50, Huangmen BL-52, Zhishi BL-53, Baohuang BL-54, Zhibian BL-54. Fufen BL-41 is below the second thoracic vertebra, on the inner side of the neck, 3 cun lateral to the spine, a meeting of the Hand and Foot Taiyang meridians; insert 8 fen, moxa 5 zhuang. Pohu BL-42 is below the third thoracic vertebra on both sides, directly above Fufen BL-41, where the Qi of the Foot-Taiyang meridian emerges; the lower 11 points follow the same pattern. Take them while sitting upright; insert 5 fen, moxa as for Fufen BL-41. Shentang BL-44 is below the fifth thoracic vertebra on both sides, directly above Pohu BL-42; insert 3 fen, moxa as for Fufen BL-41. [Missing Character/Geshu BL-17 context] is below the sixth thoracic vertebra on both sides, directly above Shentang BL-44. (Note: Commentary on Gu Kong Lun states: Press with hand and ask patient to groan, then movement will be felt under the finger.) Insert 6 fen, retain needle for 7 breaths, moxa as for Fufen BL-41. Ge Guan BL-? (Source text has missing char, likely referring to a point like Pishu or similar, but text says "Ge Guan in 7th vertebra... directly above [missing]"). Actually, text says: "Ge Guan in 7th vertebra...". Let's follow text: Ge Guan (likely a typo for a specific point or generic term, but listed as distinct) is below the seventh thoracic vertebra on both sides, directly above [missing]; sit upright, spread shoulders to locate; insert 5 fen, moxa 3 zhuang. Hunmen BL-47 is below the ninth thoracic vertebra on both sides, directly above Ge Guan; sit upright; insert and moxa as for Ge Guan. Yanggang BL-48 is below the tenth thoracic vertebra on both sides, directly above Hunmen BL-47; sit upright; insert and moxa as for Hunmen BL-47. Yishe BL-49 is below the eleventh thoracic vertebra on both sides, directly above Yanggang BL-48; sit upright; insert and moxa as for Yanggang BL-48. Weicang BL-50 is below the twelfth thoracic vertebra on both sides, directly above Yishe BL-49; insert and moxa as for Yishe BL-49. Huangmen BL-52 is below the thirteenth thoracic vertebra on both sides, directly above Weicang BL-50; insert as for Weicang BL-50, may moxa 30 zhuang. Zhishi BL-53 is below the fourteenth thoracic vertebra on both sides, directly above Huangmen BL-52; sit upright; insert and moxa as for Pohu BL-42. Baohuang BL-54 is below the nineteenth thoracic vertebra on both sides, directly above Zhishi BL-53; lie prone to locate; insert and moxa as for Pohu BL-42. Zhibian BL-54 is below the twenty-first thoracic vertebra (Lumbar 5/Sacral region context usually, but text says 21st vertebra) on both sides, directly above Baohuang BL-54; lie prone to locate; insert and moxa as for Pohu BL-42. Each of the Back-Shu points of the Five Zang organs has five points (left and right), and each of the Back-Shu points of the Six Fu-organs has six points (left and right). (Fei Shu BL-13 is below the third thoracic vertebra on both sides, 1.5 cun lateral to the spine; insert 3 fen, retain 7 breaths, moxa 3 zhuang. Xin Shu BL-15 is below the fifth thoracic vertebra on both sides; spacing and insertion same as Fei Shu BL-13, retain 7 breaths. Gan Shu BL-18 is below the ninth thoracic vertebra on both sides; spacing and insertion same as Xin Shu BL-15, retain 6 breaths. Pi Shu BL-20 is below the eleventh thoracic vertebra on both sides; spacing and insertion same as Gan Shu BL-18, retain 7 breaths. Shen Shu BL-23 is below the fourteenth thoracic vertebra on both sides; spacing and insertion same as Pi Shu BL-20, retain 7 breaths. Dan Shu BL-19 is below the tenth thoracic vertebra on both sides; spacing same as Fei Shu BL-13; sit upright, insert 5 fen, retain 7 breaths. Wei Shu BL-21 is below the twelfth thoracic vertebra on both sides; spacing and insertion same as Pi Shu BL-20, retain 7 breaths. Sanjiao Shu BL-22 is below the thirteenth thoracic vertebra on both sides; spacing and insertion same as Dan Shu BL-19. Dachang Shu BL-25 is below the sixteenth thoracic vertebra on both sides; spacing and insertion same as Fei Shu BL-13, retain 6 breaths. Xiaochang Shu BL-27 is below the eighteenth thoracic vertebra on both sides; spacing and insertion same as Xin Shu BL-15, retain 6 breaths. Pangguang Shu BL-28 is below the nineteenth thoracic vertebra on both sides; spacing and insertion same as Shen Shu BL-23, retain 6 breaths. If moxa is applied to the Back-Shu points of the Five Zang and Six Fu organs, 3 zhuang may be used. Note: The New Correction states: "Some suspect that 'each five' and 'each six' in the scripture are errors, but this is incorrect. The word 'each' means five on the left and five on the right, or six on the left and six on the right, not that each organ has five or six separate points." From Weizhong BL-40 down to beside the little toe, there are six Shu points each side. (Referring to Weizhong BL-40, Kunlun BL-60, Jinggu BL-64, Shugu BL-65, Tonggu BL-66, and Zhiyin BL-67, six points. Considering both sides, this is 12 Shu points. Insertion and moxibustion are as per the Acupoints Chapter. The scripture says 78 points where Qi and pulse emerge; now we have 93 points including lost ones, indicating a numerical discrepancy due to transcription errors. Note: The New Correction states: "Wang Bing said there are 93 points including lost ones. Now adding Dazhu BL-11, Fengmen BL-12, and Fengchi GB-20 makes 99 points. Calculating Wang Bing's total, it is clear these three points were later erroneously added.")

There are 62 acupoints where the Qi of the Foot-Shaoyang meridian emerges: Two points on each side at the upper angles of the head (referring to Tianchong GB-17 and Qubin GB-7, two on each side. Tianchong GB-17 is 3 fen above the ear, a meeting of the Foot-Taiyang and Foot-Shaoyang meridians; insert 3 fen, moxa 5 zhuang. Qubin GB-7 is in the depression at the curved corner of the hairline above the ear, empty when chewing; a meeting of the Foot-Taiyang and Foot-Shaoyang meridians; insert and moxa as for Tianchong GB-17.) Five points on each side inside the hairline directly above the eyes (referring to Linqi GB-15, Muchuang GB-16, Zhengying GB-17, Chengling GB-18, and Naokong GB-20, bilateral. Linqi GB-15 is 5 fen inside the hairline directly above the eye, a meeting of the Taiyang, Shaoyang, and Yang Wei Mai meridians; retain 7 breaths. Muchuang GB-16 is 1 cun posterior to Linqi GB-15. Zhengying GB-17 is 1 cun posterior to Muchuang GB-16. Chengling GB-18 is 1.5 cun posterior to Zhengying GB-17. Naokong GB-20 is 1.5 cun posterior to Chengling GB-18, flanking the occiput above the occipital bone, a meeting of the Foot-Shaoyang and Yang Wei Mai meridians; insert 4 fen, others 3 fen, moxa 5 zhuang. Note: The New Correction states: "'Naokong is behind the occiput above the occipital bone'; 'Jia Yi Jing' writes 'below the Yuzhen bone'.") One point on each side above the anterior angle of the ear (referring to Heyan GB-18, two points. Located on the upper border of the temporal region above the curved angle, a meeting of the Hand and Foot Shaoyang and Foot-Yangming meridians; insert 7 fen, retain 7 breaths, moxa 3 zhuang. Deep insertion causes deafness.) One point on each side below the anterior angle of the ear (referring to Xuanli GB-19, two points. Located on the lower border of the temporal region above the curved angle, a meeting of the Hand and Foot Shaoyang and Yangming meridians; insert 3 fen, retain 7 breaths, moxa 3 zhuang. Note: The New Correction states: "'Later in Hand-Shaoyang it says 'above the angle', here it says 'below the angle'; one must be an error'.") One point on each side below the sharp hair (referring to He Liao SI-18, two points. Located below the sharp hair at the anterior aspect of the ear on a transverse pulsating artery, a meeting of the Hand and Foot Shaoyang meridians; insert 3 fen, moxa 3 zhuang. Note: 'Jia Yi Jing' states it is a meeting of the Hand and Foot Shaoyang and Hand-Taiyang meridians.) One point named Keyuren (Guanchong? No, Keyuren is an alias for Yifeng or similar? Text says Keyuren is a point name, located at the upper border of the bone in front of the ear, open mouth reveals an empty space, a meeting of the Hand and Foot Shaoyang and Foot-Yangming meridians; insert 3 fen, retain 7 breaths, moxa 3 zhuang. Note: 'Jia Yi Jing' and notes on Acupoints and Forbidden Points state it is a meeting of the Hand-Shaoyang and Foot-Yangming meridians, differing from this.) One point in the depression behind the ear (referring to Yifeng SJ-17, two points. Located in the depression behind the ear, pressing draws sensation into the ear, a meeting of the Hand and Foot Shaoyang meridians; insert 3 fen, moxa 3 zhuang.) One point named Xiaguan (located in the depression of the transverse bone on the shoulder, Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges; insert 2 fen, retain 7 breaths, moxa 3 zhuang. Too deep causes dyspnea. Note: Bone Empty commentary writes Hand-Yangming.) Three cun below the armpit, one point in each of the eight interspaces from the hypochondrium to Yuanye (Sanjian?). Three cun below the armpit refers to the equal-inch measurement. Below the armpit refers to Yuanye GB-22, Zhejin GB-24, and Tianchi PC-1. From the hypochondrium to Yuanye refers to Riyue GB-24, Zhangmen LR-13, Daimai GB-26, Wushu GB-27, Weidao GB-28, and Juliao GB-29, nine points. Bilaterally totaling 18 points. Yuanye GB-22 is 3 cun below the armpit, where Qi of the Foot-Shaoyang meridian emerges; lift arm to locate; insert 3 fen, forbidden to moxa. Zhejin GB-24 is 3 cun below the armpit, moving forward 1 cun to touch the ribs (Note: 'Jia Yi Jing' writes 'touch'), where Qi of the Foot-Shaoyang meridian emerges; insert 6 fen, moxa 3 zhuang. Tianchi PC-1 is 2 cun behind the nipple (Note: 'Jia Yi Jing' writes 1 cun), 3 cun below the armpit touching the ribs, directly in the axilla between the ribs, a meeting of the Hand-Jueyin Pericardium and Foot-Shaoyang meridians; insert 3 fen, moxa 3 zhuang. Riyue GB-24 is the Front-Mu point of the Gallbladder, at the end of the third rib, 2.5 cun lateral to the center of the xiphoid process, directly above both nipples (Note: 'Jia Yi Jing' says Riyue GB-24 is 5 fen below Qimen LR-14), a meeting of the Foot-Taiyin and Foot-Shaoyang meridians; insert 7 fen, moxa 5 zhuang. Zhangmen LR-13 is the Front-Mu point of the Spleen, at the end of the floating rib, a meeting of the Foot-Jueyin and Foot-Shaoyang meridians; lie on side, flex upper leg, extend lower leg, lift arm to locate; insert 8 fen, retain 6 breaths, moxa 3 zhuang. Daimai GB-26 is 1.8 cun below the floating rib, a meeting of the Foot-Shaoyang and Daimai Mai meridians; insert 6 fen, moxa 5 zhuang. Wushu GB-27 is 3 cun below Daimai GB-26, a meeting of the Foot-Shaoyang and Daimai Mai meridians; insert 1 cun, moxa 5 zhuang. Weidao GB-28 is 5.3 cun below Zhangmen LR-13, a meeting of the Foot-Shaoyang and Daimai Mai meridians; insert and moxa as for Zhangmen LR-13. Juliao GB-29 is 8.3 cun below Zhangmen LR-13, in the depression above the hip bone, a meeting of the Yang Qiao Mai and Foot-Shaoyang meridians; insert and moxa as for Weidao GB-28. These are called eight interspaces because from 3 cun below the armpit to the floating rib there are eight ribs. One point on each side beside the center of the thigh pivot (referring to Huantiao GB-30, two points. Insert and moxa as per Acupoints Chapter. Note: The New Correction states: "'Qi Xue Lun' says 'between the two Bi Yan', Wang Bing注释 as Huantiao GB-30. Also 'Jia Yi Jing' says Huantiao GB-30 is in the center of the thigh pivot. Now it says 'one point on each side beside the center of the thigh pivot', meaning the point is in the thigh pivot, and 'beside' means one on the left and one on the right, not that Huantiao GB-30 is beside the pivot.") Six Shu points each side from below the knee to the secondary toe (little toe side? No, second toe). (Referring to Yanglingquan GB-34, Yangfu GB-38, Qiuxu GB-40, Linqiu? No, Linqi is GB-15. Here likely refers to foot Shaoyang points: Yanglingquan GB-34, Yangfu GB-38, Qiuxu GB-40, Diwu? No, text says Linqi, Xiaxi GB-43, Guanzhong GB-44. Wait, text says "Lin Qi, Xia Xi, Xiao Yin". Likely Linqiu? No, foot points. Probably refers to the Shu-stream and Jing-well etc. of Foot Shaoyang. Text lists: Yanglingquan GB-34, Yangfu GB-38, Qiuxu GB-40, Linqi (likely error for a foot point or referring to GB-15 again? No, context is foot. Maybe "Lin Qi" is a typo for "Di Wu" or similar? Or maybe it refers to the points on the foot. Let's stick to text: Yanglingquan GB-34, Yangfu GB-38, Qiuxu GB-40, Linqi (possibly a typo for a foot point, but I will translate as written), Xiaxi GB-43, Guanzhong GB-44. Bilaterally 12 Shu points. Insertion and moxibustion as per Acupoints Chapter.)

There are 68 acupoints where the Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges: Three points on each side beside the hairline of the forehead (referring to Xuanlu ST-8? No, Xuanlu is GB-7. Text says Xuanlu, Yangbai GB-14, Touwei ST-8. Bilateral total 6. Counting horizontally from the frontal hairline: Xuanlu is in the middle of the temporal region above the curved angle, where Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges; insert 3 fen, retain 3 breaths, moxa 3 zhuang. Yangbai GB-14 is 1 cun above the eyebrow, directly above the pupil, a meeting of the Foot-Yangming and Yin Wei Mai meridians; insert 3 fen, moxa 3 zhuang. Touwei ST-8 is at the hairline of the temple, 1.5 cun lateral to Benshen GB-13 on both sides, a meeting of the Foot-Shaoyang and Foot-Yangming meridians; insert 5 fen, forbidden to moxa. Note: The New Correction states: "'Jia Yi Jing' says Yangbai GB-14 is a meeting of Foot-Shaoyang and Yang Wei Mai. Current note says Foot-Yangming and Yin Wei Mai. Detailed check: since it is listed under Foot-Yangming Qi emergence, Foot-Yangming is closer. However, the Yangming meridian does not reach here, nor does it meet the Yin Wei Mai. Suspect Wang Bing's note is wrong, and 'Jia Yi Jing' is correct.") One point in each empty space of the nasal bone (referring to Sibai ST-2, two points. One cun below the eye, where Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges; insert 4 fen, forbidden to moxa. Note: 'Jia Yi Jing' says insert 3 fen, moxa 7 zhuang.) One point in the empty space of Daying ST-5 (Daying is a point name, located 1.3 cun anterior to the angle of the jaw, in the depression of the bone on the pulsating artery, where Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges; insert 3 fen, retain 7 breaths, moxa 3 zhuang.) One point named Yingchang (Renying ST-9). (Renying is a point name, located beside the larynx on the neck on the large pulsating artery, where Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges; insert 4 fen, too deep kills, forbidden to moxa.) One point in the empty space outside Quepen (referring to Tianchuang SI-16, two points. Located in the depression at the corner of the clavicle in the supraclavicular fossa, a meeting of the Hand and Foot Shaoyang and Yang Wei Mai meridians; insert 8 fen, moxa 3 zhuang.) One point in each intercostal space in the chest (referring to Yingchuang ST-16 and five others. Yingchuang ST-16 is on both sides of the chest, 4 cun lateral to the midline, in the depression 4.8 cun below Jugu GB-21, where Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges; look up to locate; insert 4 fen, moxa 5 zhuang. Above this point are Qihu ST-1, Kukong ST-2, and Wuyi ST-3. Below are Ruzhong RN-17 and Rugen ST-18. Qihu ST-1 is below Jugu GB-21, directly below Yingchuang ST-16, 4.8 cun above Yingchuang ST-16. Kukong ST-2 is 1.6 cun below Qihu ST-1. Wuyi ST-3 is 3.2 cun below Qihu ST-1. Below is Yingchuang ST-16. Below Yingchuang ST-16 is Ruzhong RN-17. In the depression 1.6 cun below Ruzhong RN-17 is Rugen ST-18. All are where Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges; look up to locate. Ruzhong RN-17 is forbidden to moxa or puncture. If accidentally moxa/punctured and an ulcer forms, if it contains clear pus/blood it is treatable; if it contains flesh-like erosion it is fatal. The other five points: insert 4 fen, moxa 3 zhuang.) Five points on each side flanking the stomach below the nipple, three cun below the nipple (referring to Burong ST-19, Chengman ST-20, Liangmen ST-21, Guanmen ST-22, and Taiyi SP-1, five points, ten bilaterally, 4 cun lateral to the abdominal midline. Burong ST-19 is at the end of the fourth rib; down to Taiyi SP-1, each is 1 cun apart vertically, all where Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges; insert 8 fen, moxa 5 zhuang. Note: 'Jia Yi Jing' says Burong ST-19 insert 5 fen, this note is suspected to be erroneous.) Three points on each side flanking the umbilicus with a width of 3 cun (Width refers to the horizontal distance from the umbilicus. Width 3 cun means the distance is similar to Taiyi SP-1. The three points are Runmen ST-17? No, text says Hua Rou Men ST-34, Tianshu ST-25, Wai Ling ST-26. Hua Rou Men ST-34 is 1 cun below Taiyi SP-1. Tianshu ST-25 is 1 cun below Hua Rou Men ST-34, directly opposite the umbilicus. Wai Ling ST-26 is 1 cun below Tianshu ST-25. All where Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges. Tianshu ST-25 insert 5 fen, retain 7 breaths. Hua Rou Men ST-34 and Wai Ling ST-26 insert 8 fen, moxa 5 zhuang. Note: 'Jia Yi Jing' says Tianshu ST-25 is 2 cun lateral to the umbilicus, upper is Hua Rou Men ST-34, lower is Wai Ling ST-26, so these three points are 2 cun from the umbilicus. Now the scripture and note say width 3 cun, differing from 'Jia Yi Jing', suspecting an error in the original scripture.) Three points on each side 2 cun below the umbilicus. 2 cun below the umbilicus is 1 cun below Wai Ling ST-26, the Daju ST-27 point. The three points are Daju ST-27, Shuidao ST-28, and Guilai ST-29. Daju ST-27 is 1 cun below Wai Ling ST-26, where Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges; insert 8 fen, moxa 5 zhuang. Shuidao ST-28 is 3 cun below Daju ST-27, where Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges; insert 2.5 cun, moxa 5 zhuang. Guilai ST-29 is 2 cun below Shuidao ST-28; insert 8 fen, moxa 5 zhuang. One point on each side of the Qijie arterial pulse (Qijie is a point name, located below Guilai ST-29, 1 cun above the inguinal ligament where the pulse is palpable, where Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges; insert 3 fen, retain 7 breaths, moxa 3 zhuang. Note: The New Correction states: "This note agrees with 'Jia Yi Jing'. Note on Ci Re says Qijie is at both ends of the pubic bone below the umbilicus, above the inguinal ligament. Note on Ci Jin says below the abdomen, 4 cun lateral to the umbilicus, above the inguinal ligament. Note on Gu Kong says at both sides of the pubic hair, above the inguinal ligament. Notes differ. Take this note as correct.") One point on each side above Futu ST-32 (referring to Biguan ST-31, two points. Located in the intersection behind Futu ST-32 on the knee; insert 6 fen, moxa 3 zhuang.) Eight Shu points each side from Sanli ST-36 down to the middle toe, divided at their respective locations. (Referring to Zusanli ST-36, Shangjixu ST-37, Xiajixu ST-39, Jiexi ST-41, Chongyang ST-42, Xangu ST-43, Neiting ST-44, and Lidui ST-45, eight points. Bilaterally 16 Shu points. Shangjixu ST-37 combines with the Large Intestine; Xiajixu ST-39 combines with the Small Intestine. Insertion and moxibustion are as per the Acupoints Chapter. The phrase 'divided at their respective locations' means the Foot-Yangming meridian Qi divides from Zusanli ST-36 and descends. The straight branch follows the tibia, crosses the dorsum of the foot, and enters the big toe ending at Lidui ST-45. The branch travels with the straight line to the dorsum of the foot and enters the space between the big and second toes. Hence it is called 'divided at their respective locations'. 'Zhi' means 'to go', stating they divide and go separately to the acupoint spaces in the toe interspaces.)

There are 36 acupoints where the Qi of the Hand-Taiyang meridian emerges: One point in each inner canthus (referring to Jingming BL-1, two points. At the inner canthus, a meeting of the Hand and Foot Taiyang, Foot-Yangming, Yang Qiao Mai, and Yin Qiao Mai meridians; insert 1 fen, retain 6 breaths, moxa 3 zhuang.) For acupoints stated to be meetings of multiple meridians without specifying the primary meridian below, they originate from the correct meridian. One point in each outer canthus (referring to Tongziliao GB-1, two points. 5 fen lateral to the outer canthus, a meeting of the Hand-Taiyang, Hand-Shaoyang, and Foot-Shaoyang meridians; insert 3 fen,
