Use *Ranacaulis* (Tianji Cao). Chew it in the mouth until melted, then apply to the injured area. It can immediately relieve pain and reduce swelling.
Cinnamomi Cortex (Liangmu Pi) (2 liang), Winter Melon Peel (Donggua Pi), Pomelo Peel (Youzi Pi) (1 liang each), Ginger Peel (Shengjiang Pi), Atractylodis Rhizoma (Cangzhu), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) (5 qian each), Mulberry Leaf (Sangye), Mulberry Twig Cinnamon Wine Residue (Sangzhi Guijiujiao) (1 jin). Add: Raw Astragali Radix (Sheng Huang), Taxilli Herba (Sangjisheng), Chaenomelis Fructus (Mugua), Old Ginger Root (Laoshengjiang) (3 qian each), Raw Paeoniae Radix Alba (Sheng Baishao) (2 qian), Large Red Dates (Dazao) (20 pieces). Stew thoroughly with rice wine, replacing Yangfu (3 qian), Xizhuang Huang Lisheng Shengjun, Areca Seed (Binglang) (1 qian each), Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin) (2 fen). Decoct with water, take hot, one to two doses. Recovery occurs upon purgation.
This condition is characterized by redness of the scrotum and descent of the testicles. If not treated promptly, it leads to ulceration and death.
Take a living green bamboo segment, over one chi long. Place it on firewood fire. Burn all sides black. Quench into clear water. Immediately remove while the bamboo is still warm. Wrap in colored cloth.
Another prescription: Use Jujube Soup (Gouju Tang). See volume upper for formula. Take two to three doses for recovery.

Extract the Deer Antler from the above herbs. Grind into an extremely fine powder. Place in a lidded tea bowl, or preferably in a ginseng jar. Decoct the remaining herbs, mix the juice with the powder, and melt in a double boiler.

Mr. Huang Zhenwang of Jianning County, at the age of thirty, suffered from this condition. Medical treatments were ineffective. Later, he met a good doctor who prescribed the aforementioned formula. He took a total of over six hundred doses.

The above herbs are based on Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction). Added Ginseng, Deer Antler, and Cistanche to tonify Qi and Blood, generate fluids to moisten and transform. Added Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Weilingxian) and Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Chuan Niuxi) to facilitate joint movement.
