鸡蛋壳（炙） 百部（炒等分）
研末。水泛为丸。如桐子大。每服三钱。用福珍酒。空心送下。
又方
鲜芙蓉叶捣烂敷上。泡起即消。如干叶用鸡子清醋调和围上。即消。兼治一切外症。
又方
用生生膏加真沉香末贴之效。（生生膏方在通治门）
治血崩不止。
陈棕榈（烧灰存性） 陈阿胶（等分）
为末。每服三钱。酒下即止。
口 牙根生白点。不能食乳。
用银针挑破出血。以薄荷汤磨好金墨。手指蘸墨遍擦。勿令食乳。待睡一晌方可。
白蔻仁 砂仁（各七粒） 炙甘草（五分） 生甘草（五分）
为末。常搽入儿口中。或少入蜜。抹乳上。令食之。若直出不停留者。 炒麦芽（三钱）
橘
红（一钱） 丁香（三分） 水煎服立止。
牡蛎粉 川贝母粉 云母粉 生甘草粉 陈壁土粉（等分） 掺脐中立愈。
西牛黄（三分） 薄荷（六分） 水半钟。煎浓汁灌下七八匙。即愈。
粪坑底砖研末。麻油调涂。即愈。或用鳝鱼血。涂之立效。须兼服煎药。

天花粉（一钱） 生大黄（五分） 川通草（五分） 水煎服。

黄柏（三钱） 黄连（一钱） 大黄（三钱） 冰片（三分）
为末。将猪苦胆一个。调敷患处。软绢扎好。并治猴狲疳神效。
Eggshell (calcined) and Stemona Root (Stemonae Radix, 百部) (stir-fried, equal parts)
Pulverize into powder. Form pills by water-pellet method, size of *Cocculus trilobus* seeds. Take 3 qian per dose, swallow with Fuzhen Wine on an empty stomach.
Another prescription
Fresh Hibiscus Leaf (Hibisci Folium, 芙蓉叶) is mashed and applied topically; swelling subsides immediately upon application. If using dried leaves, mix with Egg White (Ovi Albumen, 鸡子清) and Vinegar to apply around the area, which also resolves the condition. This method treats various external sores simultaneously.
Yet another prescription
Apply Shengsheng Ointment (Shengsheng Gao, 生生膏) mixed with real Agarwood Powder (Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum, 沉香). (The formula for Shengsheng Ointment is in the General Treatment Section.)
Treats continuous metrorrhagia (blood flooding).
Old Palm Fruit (Livistonae Fructus, 棕榈) (charred to ash but retaining efficacy) and Old Donkey-hide Gelatin (Colla Corii Asini, 阿胶) (equal parts)
Grind into powder. Take 3 qian per dose, swallow with wine to stop bleeding immediately.
Mouth: White spots grow on the gum roots, unable to suckle milk.
Puncture with a silver needle until blood appears. Grind gold ink with Mint Decoction (Bohe Tang, 薄荷汤), dip fingers in the ink, and wipe the affected area thoroughly. Do not allow suckling until after a nap.
White Cardamom Seed (Amomi Fructus Rotundus, 白蔻仁), Amomum Fruit (Amomi Fructus, 砂仁) (7 grains each), Roasted Licorice Root (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparata, 炙甘草) (5 fen), Raw Licorice Root (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 生甘草) (5 fen)
Grind into powder. Frequently apply into the infant's mouth. Alternatively, add a little honey, smear on the nipple for the infant to suck. If milk flows out continuously without staying, use:
Fried Barley Sprout (Hordei Fructus Germinatus, 炒麦芽) (3 qian)
Tangerine Peel (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 橘红) (1 qian), Clove (Caryophylli Flos, 丁香) (3 fen), decoct in water and take orally for immediate cessation.
Oyster Shell Powder (Concha Ostreae, 牡蛎粉), Fritillaria Bulb (Fritillariae Cirrhosae Bulbus, 川贝母粉), Mica Powder (Micrum, 云母粉), Raw Licorice Root Powder (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Pulvis, 生甘草粉), Old Wall Earth Powder (Terrae Cineres, 陈壁土粉) (equal parts)
Sprinkle into the umbilicus for immediate cure.
Indian Musk Calculus (Bovis Calculus, 西牛黄) (3 fen), Mint Herb (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba, 薄荷) (6 fen), add half zhong of water, decoct to a concentrated juice, administer 7-8 spoons orally for cure.
Powder from bricks at the bottom of a cesspit, mixed with Sesame Oil (Sesami Oleum, 麻油) for topical application cures immediately. Alternatively, apply eel blood for instant effect. Must be combined with oral decoction.
Decoction Formula
Trichosanthes Root (Trichosanthis Radix, 天花粉) (1 qian), Raw Rhubarb Root (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 生大黄) (5 fen), Tetrapanax Medulla (Tetrapanacis Medulla, 川通草) (5 fen), decoct in water and take orally.
Another prescription
Phellodendron Bark (Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex, 黄柏) (3 qian), Coptis Rhizome (Coptidis Rhizoma, 黄连) (1 qian), Rhubarb Root (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 大黄) (3 qian), Borneol (Borneolum Syntheticum, 冰片) (3 fen)
Grind into powder. Mix with one pig gallbladder bile, apply to the affected area, bind with soft silk. Also highly effective for treating simian kan (pediatric malnutrition syndrome associated with monkeys).
Aged snow water from the twelfth lunar month, decocted with Raw Licorice Root (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 生甘草) (1 qian). Dip new soft green cloth in the liquid and wipe inside the mouth for cure.
