Treats the symptom of inability to see at night. This condition is named *Ji Su Yan* (Chicken Night-Eye, i.e., Nyctalopia).
Take a piece of pig liver that has not fallen into water. Cut off the edges. Steam it over a rice cooker until cooked. Expose it to the air overnight. On the clear morning of the next day, consume it with light cold water or salted water. Consume for six to seven days to be cured.
The efficacy is miraculous. Prepare and distribute it to others; it is inexpensive yet highly effective, accumulating great hidden merit.
*Wubeizi* (Galla Chinensis, stir-fried) *Huanglian* (Coptidis Rhizoma, cleaned of all hairs) *Fangfeng* (Saposhnikoviae Radix) *Jingjie Sui* (Schizonepetae Spica) (each 5 qian) *Kushen* (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix) (4 qian) *Tonglü* (Chalcanthite) (0.5 fen)
Grind into fine powder. Use decoction of *Bohe* (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba) to make pills the size of a marble. Dissolve the pill in hot water. Wash the eyes while the solution is hot. If it cools down, reheat it in hot water. Wash three times daily.
*Luganshi* (Calamina) (3 qian) *Xiao Chuanlian* (Coptidis Rhizoma) (1.5 qian) *Tianhuafen* (Trichosanthis Radix) (3 qian)
Grind together into an extremely fine powder. Mix evenly with ground oil. After the patient falls into deep sleep, gently apply it to the affected area. Alternatively, use *Chuanlian* and *Huafen* to decoct a concentrated liquid to process *Luganshi*, then grind.
Treats nebulae (opacities) caused by Liver deficiency.

Decoct into a thick liquid and reduce to a paste. Apply drops to the edge of the eyeball. Three times daily.
Obtain multiple tips from the nose of pigs from butchers. Cut off a strip of skin along the edge. Grind into powder. Take 3 qian each morning with good yellow wine. It will completely recede within two or three days.

*Mubiezi* (Semen Strychni, one piece, shell removed)
Grind into powder, wrap in cotton, and insert into the nostril. For left eye issues, insert into the right nostril; for right eye issues, insert into the left nostril. Within one or two nights, the eyelashes will separate into upper and lower rows. Do not pluck the spines; if plucked, they will grow back.

Use three bowls of water, boil three to four times. Pour the liquid including dregs into a porcelain basin. Cover the face with black silk fabric. Dip and wash the eyes with the hot solution. Immediate cure. Truly a miraculous prescription.
