For each batch, use 1 jin of pure sesame oil and 0.5 jin of beeswax. Cut the herbs into slices and soak them in the oil for two nights. Decoct over alternating mild and strong heat until the herbs turn completely black. Strain and purify the residue, then add the finely ground beeswax to the medicine. Stir constantly with a peach branch until a drop forms a bead that does not disperse when dropped into water. Add 1 qian of Asafoetida powder; this is named Asafoetida Ointment.

The book "Taichan Zhinan" has miraculous effects, which I have heard about for a long time, but physicians often keep it secret, making it impossible to purchase. Mr. Ren Songyun from Ninghai is proficient in Traditional Chinese Medicine and harbors a compassionate heart to help others; we often discussed matters of cause and effect and got along very well. Yesterday, he mentioned that among dangerous and difficult-to-treat diseases, obstetric conditions are the most severe, and he immediately showed me this book. Seeing it was like finding a treasure, I hurriedly had it printed and published to share with fellow enthusiasts.
