It is advisable to take Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction), with two fen of ground Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix) added and taken orally. Do not use Wuyao (Linderae Radix), Xiangfu (Cyperi Rhizoma), Sharen (Amomi Fructus), Zhike (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus), Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus), or Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex), as these may damage Yuanqi (Original Qi).
It is advisable to take Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction), with two qian of Rongshuung (Cistanches Herba) added, taken two to three doses daily, to promote vigorous blood flow and natural unblocking. Separately, grind three he of Sesame Seeds (Sesami Semen), mix with one sheng of rice to make porridge, and consume it in three to four servings. One must strictly avoid formulas containing Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma); prolonged constipation treated with excessive Dahuang can lead to Guzhang (Tympanites/Abdominal Distension), so this must be avoided.
It is advisable to take Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction) combined with Shengmai San (Generate the Pulse Powder), using Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix) and Maidong (Ophiopogonis Tuber) to facilitate unblocking. One must strictly avoid using Wuling San (Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria) to promote urination. If unblocking does not occur after taking medicine, apply the external Congyi method: take ten scallion heads, bind them in cotton cloth, cut them to the thickness of a finger, place them on the umbilicus, and moxibustion-iron them with mugwort fire.
First, take Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction), adding one qian of Fuling (Poria), seven fen of Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma), and six Shi Lianzi (Nelumbinis Plumula). Separately, cook one he of Nuomici (Glutinous Rice) into porridge and eat it. If diarrhea leads to physical collapse, drowsiness, and fatigue, add Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix) to Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction) for treatment.

It is advisable to use Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction), adding one qian each of Fushen (Poria with Hostwood), Zaoren (Ziziphi Spinosae Semen), Baiziren (Platycladi Semen), and Yuanzhi (Polygalae Radix). One must strictly not mistake this condition for Tanhuo (Phlegm-Fire) and use methods for descending phlegm, dissipating deficiency birth, or talismanic treatments for fright birth. If there is spontaneous sweating leading to collapse, take the tonifying formulas from the previous volume.
It is advisable to take Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction), adding Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma) for two to three doses, followed by the tonifying formulas from the previous volume. One must strictly avoid lightly using Sini Tang (Four-Reversal Decoction) or similar formulas.
For postpartum dysentery, regardless of whether it presents with red or white discharge, it is advisable to take Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction) with Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma) removed and Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix) added (three fen). Taking this continuously for two to three doses will thoroughly expel blood clots and dysenteric accumulation without damaging the parturient's blood and qi. One must absolutely avoid using cold medicines such as Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) and Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), which may cause blood clots to stagnate.
It is advisable to frequently take Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction), adding one qian of Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba). If signs of collapse appear, take the tonifying formulas from the previous volume.
This condition often arises from cold invasion due to deficiency. It is advisable to take Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction) with Sharen (Amomi Fructus), Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), Fuling (Poria), Huoxiang (Agastaches Herba), or Liuhe Tang (Six-Harmony Decoction).
This condition often arises from blood deficiency and qi stagnation. Take Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction) with twenty roots of Jiubai (Allium Tuberosum Bulb) and eight fen of Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex).
It is advisable to take Shenghua Tang (Transform the Stasis Decoction) with Guizhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Duhuo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix), and Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) to disperse wind-cold.
When the vaginal opening is affected by wind, if carbuncles or sores develop, contemporary physicians all attribute this to carbuncle formation. However, only one monk stated that within seven days postpartum, improper起居 (daily activities) allowing wind to enter the vaginal opening causes pain because wind nature is hot; dispelling the wind can cure it. I admire his clear insight and do not conceal his formula, to prevent misdiagnosing it as a carbuncle/ulcer and mistakenly administering Baidu San (Eliminate Toxin Powder). Instead, Qufeng Dingtong San (Wind-Dispelling Pain-Calming Powder) should be used: Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 3 qian), Duhuo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, each 5 fen), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 1 qian), Fuling (Poria, 1 qian), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba, 5 fen), Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix, 2 qian), Jujube (Ziziphi Jujubae Fructus, 5 pieces).
