Chapter 7: Explanation of the Inverted Posture Diagrams
1. Horseback Offering Pillars Posture (Mashang Xian Chu Shi). The lateral profile of this posture is identical to the "Horseback Offering Pillars" method found in the Folding Body diagram.
[Image: Horseback Offering Pillars Posture Diagram]
2. Palms Joined at Chest Level Posture (Hezhang Pingxiong Shi). In this posture, following the previous one, bring the palms together and retract them to touch the chest. Perform three breaths, then proceed to the next posture. The remaining methods are the same as before.
[Image: Palms Joined at Chest Level Posture Diagram]
3. Four Limbs Casting to Ground Posture (Sizhi Tou Di Shi). In this posture, following the previous one, separate the palms and move them down along the sides of the body until they touch the ground forward, coordinating with the feet. The toes and fingers hang on the ground simultaneously. Squat with all four limbs, raise the head to look upward, focus the spirit and gaze, perform three breaths (exhaling first, then inhaling), guide the Qi to reverse its flow and ascend inversely, invert the transport of the River Cart (Daoist term for the circulation of Jing-Qi within the body), and proceed smoothly to the next posture.
[Image: Four Limbs Casting to Ground Posture Diagram]
4. Left Tripod Foot Stretching Body Posture (Zuo Dingzu Shushen Shi). In this posture, following the previous one, place the left foot forward in a neutral position, keeping the toe touching the ground, and join the two hands to form a tripod stance. Then, extend the left leg straight so that the foot is level with the head. Straighten and support the waist, back, thighs, and knees simultaneously. Perform three breaths, allowing the Qi to rush directly from the heel to the Niwan Palace (top of the head) and then descend back to the heel. After completing three cycles of Qi movement, proceed smoothly to the next posture.

5. Right Tripod Foot Stretching Body Posture (You Dingzu Shushen Shi). In this posture, switch the left foot with the right foot, and the right foot with the left foot. The remaining methods are the same as before.
[Image: Right Tripod Foot Stretching Body Posture Diagram]
6. Casting to Ground Returning to Origin Posture (Tou Di Huanyuan Shi). In this posture, following the previous one, return the four limbs to their original casting-to-ground state. The body posture and breathing are exactly the same as the "Four Limbs Casting to Ground" method.

Chapter 8: Explanation of the Turning Over Posture Diagrams
1. Mid-Air Lotus Sitting Posture (Kongzhong Diesuo Shi). In this posture, following the previous one, insert the rear two feet forward between the two hands. Move the hands backward to the sides of the buttocks. Hang the ten toes of both feet diagonally on the ground, spread the hips apart so that the heels of both feet touch each other. Keep the head upright and the body vertical, gaze horizontally, concentrate the will and spirit, perform three breaths, and proceed smoothly to the next posture.
[Image: Mid-Air Lotus Sitting Posture Diagram]
2. Turning Over Squatting Posture (Fanshen Dunju Shi). In this posture, following the previous one, spread the hands and feet apart, with all finger and toe tips touching the ground. Turn over and push up with maximum effort until the knees are level with the face, resembling the previous inverted squatting shape. Perform three breaths, guide the Qi to move in reverse, and proceed smoothly to the next posture.
[Image: Turning Over Squatting Posture Diagram]
3. Left Touching-Foot Tripod Standing Posture (Zuo Dijiao Dingli Shi). In this posture, following the previous one, move the right foot to the center, keep the toes touching the ground, and join the two hands to form a tripod shape. Extend the left foot fully forward to touch the ground. Focus the eyes on the dorsum of the foot. Perform three breaths, then transition to the next posture.
[Image: Left Touching-Foot Tripod Standing Posture Diagram]
4. Right Touching-Foot Tripod Standing Posture (You Dijiao Dingli Shi). In this posture, following the previous one, swap the positions of the left and right feet. The number of breaths and all other methods are exactly the same as before.
[Image: Right Touching-Foot Tripod Standing Posture Diagram]

[Image: Palms Joined at Chest Level Posture Diagram]
7. Horseback Bowing Upward Posture (Mashang Dagong Xiangshang Shi). The Qi follows accordingly. Proceed quickly to the next posture.
[Image: Horseback Bowing Upward Posture Diagram]
8. Horseback Bowing Downward Posture (Mashang Dagong Xiangxia Shi). In this posture, following the previous one, keep the toe tips touching the ground, gaze horizontally, push the joined palms straight downward. The Qi follows accordingly. Proceed smoothly to the next posture.
[Image: Horseback Bowing Downward Posture Diagram]
9. Three Arisings and Three Falls Posture (Sanqi Sandie Shi). In this posture, following the previous one, rise on tiptoes to stand, join the palms as in the "Offering Pillars" starting posture from the Frontal Body diagram. Perform one breath, straighten the spine and bend the knees, lowering the joined palms. The arms move between the elbows and the knees. Rise again with joined palms as before. Repeat this rising and falling three times. Perform one breath for each rise and fall. Each time the joined palms are retracted, it constitutes one set of practice. Upon the third retraction, place the palms flat at chest level. Perform one more fall and rise, then proceed smoothly to the next posture.
[Image: Three Arisings and Three Falls Posture Diagram]
