Treats coldness in the female yin. For warming suppositories for the yin, this powder is the main treatment.
Shechuangzi (Cnidii Fructus)
Take the above single herb, grind into fine powder. Mix with a small amount of Bai Fen (Lead Carbonate) until well combined. Form into pills the size of a jujube. Wrap in cotton and insert into the vagina. It will naturally feel warm.
Treats cases where the Shaoyin pulse is slippery and rapid. Sores arise in the yin. If there are corrosive sores and ulceration in the yin, wash with this decoction.
Yelangya (Saussureae Radix) [Note: WHO term often refers to Artemisia or similar, here specifically Wild Wolf's Tooth] (3 liang)
Take the above single herb. Boil in 4 sheng of water until reduced to half a sheng. Wrap cotton around a chopstick like a silkworm cocoon, dip into the decoction, and irrigate/wash the yin. Do this four times a day.
The song says: The external manifestation of uterine cold presents as coldness in the yin. Insert Shechuangzi mixed with Bai Fen for safety. (This is an excellent external therapy method for warming the uterus and benefiting Yang, serving as an assistant to Shenqi Wan.)
Furthermore,
Is it difficult to wash 3 liang of Yelangya? (Eliminates damp-heat and kills parasites. If Wild Wolf's Tooth grass is unavailable, substitute with Yelangdu.)
(See Jaundice chapter) Treats downward leakage of Stomach Qi. Yin blowing (noises from the vagina) occurs and is loud. This is due to excess Gu Qi (Grain Qi). This formula is the main treatment. (Yin blowing refers to sounds emanating from the vagina, resembling flatulence during defecation.)
Xionghuang (Realgar) Tingli (Descurainiae Semen/Lepidii Semen)
Grind the above two herbs into powder. Take lard rendered in the twelfth lunar month. Melt it. Bind 4-5 tips of cotton-wrapped Huai Zhi (Sophora branch) together. Dip the tip in the medicine and cauterize/irrigate the area.
The song says: Suddenly appearing this pediatric formula. Originally effective for treating Gan Chong (parasites causing tooth decay). Tingli, Xionghuang, and Zhu Zhi (lard) for point-cauterization. Leave doubts for later detailed investigation.
Xi notes: Parasites vary in size and form depending on their location. They generally do not depart from Wind, Fire, and Dampness, generated by the Qi transformation of Jueyin. Pediatric Gan Chong disease often arises because the mother has insufficient breast milk, leading to feeding with dry, fire-inducing foods. This causes incessant irritability and crying in the child, stirring up Fire in the Pericardium. Stirred Fire inevitably scorches the Liver. Steaming and oppression transform according to Wind-Wood Qi into parasites. Parasites are sentient beings; they feed on sentient blood and disrupt the sentient heart/mind. Their movement is unpredictable... [Text fragment ends abruptly regarding form, stitching, time, eyes, turbidity, intent, medicine, formula].
