It is the source point where the Qi of the Hand-Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian emerges, classified as a Jing-Well point. It treats throat obstruction (Bi syndrome), tongue retraction, dry mouth, headache, cholera-like disease (acute vomiting and diarrhea), chest qi stagnation, loss of appetite, pain in the arm and elbow preventing elevation, eye nebula causing blurred vision. Needle insertion depth: 1 fen; moxibustion: 1 cone. Avoid consuming pork, fish, alcohol, wheat products, and raw/cold foods.
2. Yemen (SJ 2, Water): There are two points located in the depression between the fourth and fifth fingers. It is the flowing point where the Qi of the Hand-Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian flows, classified as a Ying-Spring point. It treats palpitations with delirious speech, swelling of the outer pharynx, cold reversal (cold limbs), arm pain preventing voluntary movement, malaria, alternating chills and fever, vertigo, headache, sudden deafness, red and gritty eyes, and dental caries pain.
