Menstruation overdue and not stopping: Yinbai (SP1).
Cold menstrual blood with irregular timing: Guanyuan (CV4).

Breast swelling and pain: Zulinqi (GB41).
Difficult labor: Hegu (LI4) [tonification], Sanyinjiao (SP6) [sedation], Taichong (LR3).
Transverse position with dead fetus: Taichong (LR3), Hegu (LI4), Sanyinjiao (SP6).
Transverse presentation with hand protruding first: Moxibustion on the tip of the right little toe (three cones, immediate delivery expected; cone size like a wheat grain).
Fetus pressing against the heart, suffocation and near death: Juque (CV14), Hegu (LI4) [tonification], Sanyinjiao (SP6) [sedation]. If the fetal hand grasps the maternal heart, check the palm of the left hand for male infants or the right hand for female infants for needle marks as verification; otherwise, treat Renzhong (GV26) or the area behind the brain.
Postpartum syncope with loss of consciousness: Zhigou (TE6), Zusanli (ST36), Sanyinjiao (SP6).
After abortion, cold extremities and cold syndrome: Jianjing (GB21) (depth 0.5 cun; if feeling stifled and confused, urgently tonify Zusanli).
Retained placenta: Zhongji (CV3), Jianjing (GB21).
Uterine prolapse: Ququan (LR8), Zhaohai (KI6), Dadun (LR1).
Agalactia (lack of milk): Danzhong (CV17) [moxibustion], Shaoze (SI1) [tonification]; these two acupoints are highly effective.
Blood stasis: Ququan (LR8), Fuliou (KI7), Zusanli (ST36), Qihai (CV6), Dantian (EX-CA1), Sanyinjiao (SP6).
Intercourse during menstruation leading to emaciation, alternating chills and fever, and conflict of essence and blood: Bailao (EX-B1), Shenshu (BL23), Fengmen (BL12), Zhongji (CV3), Qihai (CV6), Sanyinjiao (SP6). Treating these symptoms as deficiency consumption is incorrect.
Amenorrhea with yellow complexion, dry retching, and infertility: Quchi (LI11), Zhigou (TE6), Zusanli (ST36), Sanyinjiao (SP6).
Menorrhagia (excessive flow): Tongli (HT5), Xingjian (LR2), Sanyinjiao (SP6).
To induce sterility: Moxibustion at one cun above the medial malleolus of the right foot, and Hegu (LI4). Another method: Moxibustion at 2.3 cun below the umbilicus (three cones), and Jianjing (GB21).
General coldness and fatigue: Moxibustion on Guanyuan (CV4).
Intermittent metrorrhagia: Sanyinjiao (SP6).
Irregular menstruation due to formation of masses: Needle Jianshi (PC5).
