(From *Zhenjiu Juying*)
Gathering extensive knowledge to extract the essential, compiling concise content while discarding the cumbersome, summarizing the *Yulong Fu* (Jade Dragon Ode) into this treatise, ensuring that where the golden needle reaches, peace and safety are attained.
Tracing its origins: For sudden stroke, select Dingmen (Vertex Gate) and Baihui (Hundred Convergences); for persistent gouty arthritis (Hongjiao), select Sanyinjiao (Three Yin Intersection), Juegu (Bone Valley), and Yinlingquan (Yin Ridge Spring). For head wind and nasal sinusitis (Bi Yuan), Shangxing (Upper Star) is applicable; for deafness and mumps swelling, Tinghui (Listening Hui) yields superior results. Zanzhu (Gathered Bamboo) and Touwei (Head Corner) treat eye pain and headache; Rugen (Breast Root) and Shufu (Acupoint Mansion) treat qi-reversal cough and phlegm-wheezing. Fengshi (Wind Market) and Yinshi (Yin Market) dispel leg and foot weakness; Yinlingquan and Yanglingquan eliminate unbearable knee swelling. Erbai (Two Whites) treats hemorrhoids and fistulas; Jianshi (Intercourse Restriction) subdues malaria; Dazhun (Great Tower) removes hernia; Gaohuang (Gao's Influence) tonifies deficiency and fatigue. Tianjing (Heavenly Well) treats scrofula and urticaria; Shenmen (Spirit Gate) treats lethargic cough with wind-phlegm; Taiyuan (Taiyuan) and Lieque (Broken Sequence) are suitable for needling; for emaciation and panting, Xuanji (Mysterious Pivot) and Qihai (Sea of Qi) should be known. Qimen (Period Door) and Dazhun can treat hard hernias; Laogong (Palace of Toil) and Daling (Great Palace) treat heart oppression and sores. For palpitations and empty irritability, needle Zusanli (Leg Three Miles); for epidemic malaria, seek Houxi (After Stream). Juegu, Zusanli, and Yinjiao are suitable for gouty arthritis; Jingming (Eye Brightness), Taiyang (Sun Hollow), and Yutouzi (Fish Tail/Ziyuliao) are relied upon for eye disorders. For the elderly with frequent urination, moxa Mingmen (Gate of Life) combined with Shenshu (Kidney Transport); for women with breast swelling, massage Shaose (Small Intestine End) and Taiyang. Shenzhu (Body Pillar) dispels cough and eliminates back pain; Zhiyang (To Yang) resolves jaundice and effectively treats mental fatigue. Changqiang (Long Strength) and Chengshan (Bear Support) are excellent for moxibustion on hemorrhoids; Fenglong (Abundant Bulge) and Feishu (Lung Transport) are miraculous for phlegm-cough. Fengmen (Wind Gate) governs cough caused by cold pathogen invasion; Tianshu (Heaven Pivot) regulates the danger of spleen-deficiency diarrhea. Fengchi (Wind Pool) and Juegu treat kyphosis; Renzhong (Human Middle) and Quchi (Pool at the Crook) treat flaccidity and kyphosis. Needling Qimen treats unresolved shaoyang taiyang syndrome where the disease does not transmit further; needling Jiawei (Kite Tail) for developed epilepsy requires caution against reckless application. Yinjiao, Shuifen (Water Division), and Zusanli are suitable for gu-distension; Shangqiu (Shang Hill), Jiexi (Ankle Joint), and Qiuxu (Qi Ruins) can pursue treatment for foot pain. Chize (Elbow Marsh) regulates tendon tension causing immobility; Wanggu (Wrist Bone) treats wrist stiffness. For shoulder and spine pain, Wushu (Five Pivots) combines with Back Seam points (Bladder meridian back-shu points); for elbow contracture pain, Chize combines with Quchi. When wind-dampness transmits to both shoulders, Jianjing (Shoulder Well) treats it; when heat accumulates excessively in the Sanjiao (Triple Burner), Guanchong (Control Stream) is most appropriate. For red swelling of arms and hands, distinguish Zhongzhu (Middle Stream) and Yemen (Fluid Gate); for spleen-deficiency jaundice, do not doubt Wanggu and Zhongwan (Middle Elixir). For shaoyang cold without sweat, attack by reducing Fuliou (Return to Flow); for shaoyang cold with sweat, take Hegu (Union Valley) according to the condition.
To regulate qi reversal due to fullness, Zusanli suffices; to revive hidden six pulses, Fuliou is divine. Zhaohai (Illuminating Sea) and Zhigou (Branch Canal) unblock constipation; Neiting (Inner Court) and Zulinqi (Foot臨泣) regulate lower abdominal ailments.
Tiantu (Heavenly Prominence) and Danzhong (Chest Center) treat asthma and cough; Dicang (Earth Granary) and Jiache (Jaw Vehicle) treat facial paralysis. Yingxiang (Welcome Fragrance) is best for nasal obstruction; Jianjing eliminates arm pain as if grasped. Erjian (Second Gap) treats toothache; Zhongkui (Middle Chief) resolves reverse vomiting immediately; Bailao (Hundred Labors) stops spontaneous sweating; Tongli (Connecting Thread) cures heart palpitations immediately.
Daxiaogu Kong and Xiaogu Kong treat eye erosion and stop cold tears; bilateral Taiyang treat eye pain and remove blood nevi. Xinshu (Heart Transport) and Shenshu treat dream emission due to kidney and waist deficiency; Renzhong and Weizhong eliminate uncontrollable lumbar sprain pain. Taixi (Great Stream), Kunlun, and Shenmai (Spirit Pulse) best treat foot swelling; Yongquan (Gushing Spring), Guanyuan (Origin Gate), and Fenglong are examples for treating corpse-labor (chronic wasting disease).
Yintang (Hall of Impression) treats convulsions; Shenting (Spirit Courtyard) regulates head wind. Frequently reducing Daling and Renzhong completely eliminates bad breath; frequently moxaing Daimai (Belt Vessel) and Guanyuan attacks kidney failure. For heavy and painful legs, needle Guangu (Hip Bone), Xiguan (Knee Gate), and Xiyan (Knee Eye); for difficult and painful walking, needle Zusanli, Zhongfeng (Center Enclosure), and Taichong (Great Surge). Taking Neiguan combined with Zhaohai treats abdominal masses; inserting Yingxiang into the nose reduces eye heat and redness. For abdominal pain and constipation, combine Daling with Waiguan (Outer Guard) and Zhigou; for rheumatic pain in legs, combine Juliao (Hip Crevice) with Huantiao (Jump Ring) and Weizhong. Shangwan (Upper Elixir) and Zhongwan treat nine types of heart pain; for red and white leukorrhea, seek differences in Zhongji (Central Pole).
Furthermore, for heart deficiency with heat accumulation, Shaochong (Minor Peak) is clear for emergency rescue; for blurred vision and blood extravasation, Ganshu (Liver Transport) distinguishes excess or deficiency. One must investigate the profound essentials of mind transmission and study the speed and slowness of manipulation techniques. If sitting sprain pain is insufficient to worry about, these are conditions difficult to determine acupoints for removal. Compiling these observations for easy recitation, hoping that experts will not disdain them.
This ode summarizes the essentials of the *Yulong Ge* (Jade Dragon Song), which appears in Volume 3.
