Baihui (GV20) and Yuzhen (GB9) treat sudden stiffness and collapse upon rising. Aversion to wind and cold. (From *Qianjin Fang*) Tongtian (GV17) (same as *Mingtong* edition), Luoque (BL36) treat temporary stiffness and collapse upon rising. Dabshu (BL11) treats stiffness and collapse with inability to stand for long periods. Vexation, chest fullness, internal urgency. Restlessness of the body, inability to lie comfortably on the bed. Yinbai (SP1) and Dadun (LR1) treat sudden *Shijue* (Corpse-like Coma), where the patient is unconscious but the pulse beats normally. Jinmen (BL63) treats *Shijue* with sudden death. Zhongji (CV3) and Puxuan (BL60) treat *Shijue* with mental confusion, accompanied by vexation and pain. Neiting (ST44) treats *Sijue* (Four Extremities Cold). For those feeling stifling heat in the hands and feet, press the acupoints for a long time. If there is cold-heat reversal with headache, abdominal distension, and skin pain, have someone press the acupoints for a long time. Lieque (LU7) treats cold extremities and excessive laughter. This occurs when pathogenic factors invade the collaterals of the Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian, Foot-Shaoyin Kidney Meridian, Hand-Taiyin Lung Meridian, Foot-Taiyin Spleen Meridian, and Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian. These five collaterals all converge in the ears and ascend to connect with the left temporal region. If the qi of these five collaterals is exhausted, the body's meridians may still pulse normally, but the person becomes insensible, appearing like a corpse. Prick the medial side of the big toe, about the width of a leek leaf from the nail edge. Then prick the center of the foot behind the sole, one needle at the nail of the middle toe. Then take the medial side of the hand's big toe, about the width of a leek leaf from the nail. Then prick the ends of the Hand-Center Pericardium Meridian and Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian near the metacarpophalangeal joint, one needle each. The condition will stop immediately. If it does not stop, blow air into both ears using a bamboo tube; the condition will stop. If it still does not stop, extract a square inch of hair from the left temple, burn it to ash, and drink it mixed with a cup of pure wine. For those who cannot drink, force-feed it; they will recover immediately. Fenglong (ST40) treats *Jueni* (Rebellious Qi/Cold Extremities). Sudden cyanosis and stabbing pain in the foot, abdomen feeling like being cut by a knife, difficulty in defecation, vexation, mania with hallucinations of ghosts and inappropriate laughter, sudden swelling of the face and limbs. Pangting (Extra Point), located between the fourth rib under the axilla, level with the nipple, two cun posterior to the nipple in the depression, commonly known as Zhushi. Raise the arm to locate. Insert 5 fen deep, moxa 50 moxibustion cones. Treats sudden invasion of evil wind, *Feishi Dunzhu* (Flying Corpse/Running Injection - acute infectious or toxic conditions), chest and hypochondriac fullness. Jiuqu Zhongfu (Extra Point), 3 cun below Pangting/Zhushi. Insert 5 fen deep, moxa 30 moxibustion cones. Treats evil wind and qi from *Dunshi*, internal blood stasis. Tianfu (LU3) treats sudden invasion of evil wind and qi, *Feishi E Zhu*, ghostly whispers and *Dunxia* (symptoms same as above, all from *Qianjin Fang*). Yinbai (SP1) treats sudden *Shijue* with loss of recognition. (Same as *Mingtong* edition) Cold feet, inability to warm them. (Same as *Tong* edition) Zhongji (CV3) treats *Shijue* with mental confusion. (See *Ben Tun*条目) Mingxia note states: *Shijue* presents as unconsciousness. Dadun (LR1) treats *Shijue* resembling death. Puxuan (BL60) treats *Shijue* resembling *Zhong'e* (Sudden Evil Invasion). Cholera, epilepsy, delirium, seeing ghosts. Lidui (ST45) treats *Shijue* with locked jaw and absent breathing, resembling *Zhong'e*, with heart and abdominal distension. Mingxia note states: *Shijue* resembles death, unconsciousness. Jinmen (BL63) treats epilepsy, *Shijue*, sudden fatigue. Weiyang (BL38) treats axillary swelling, loss of spirit, fever, *Feishi*, *Dunzhu*, flaccidity-cold numbness. Hunmen (BL47) treats *Shijue* with *Zouzhu* (wandering infection), pain connecting chest and back. (Mingxia note) Puxuan (BL60) treats epilepsy, *Shijue*, cholera, Ma Xian (Horse Epilepsy). Cuanzhu (BL2), (See Mania section) Heliao (SI18) treats *Shijue*. Tianfu (LU3) treats sudden *Zhong'e*, Ghost *Zhu*, inability to sleep peacefully. Contraindicated for moxibustion. (Same as *Tong* edition) In cases of apparent death due to *Shijue*, the pulse continues to beat normally. This is due to Yang meridians sinking and Yin meridians struggling upward, causing Qi closure. Needle Baihui (GV20), insert 3 fen, apply tonification. Moxa, use an iron to warm both hypochondria. Or take soot from the chimney, form into pill-sized balls, mix with water and drink. Or needle the tip of the middle toe, about the width of a leek leaf from the nail. Or needle the medial side under the big toenail, 3 fen from the nail edge. (From *Qianjin Fang*) Shuigou (GV26) treats sudden *Zhong'e*. (Same as *Tong* edition) The Five Corpses (*Wu Shi*) are: Feishi (Flying Corpse), Dunshi (Lurking Corpse), Fengshi (Wind Corpse), Chen Shi (Sunken Corpse), and Shizhu (Corpse Transmission). Currently, one formula is used to treat them all. Symptoms include abdominal pain and distension, inability to breathe freely, Qi rushing up to the heart and chest, attacking both hypochondria. Or lumps bulging up, or pulling pain in the waist and back. Treatment: Moxa 3 cun posterior to the nipple, left for males, right for females, 14 cones. If symptoms persist, increase the number of cones until cured. (From *Qianjin Fang*) Additionally, moxa 7 cones on the tips of both thumbs. Also moxa 10 cones 3 cun below the heart (epigastrium). Also 1 cun below the nipple, according to the side of the disease, increasing the number of cones. Also measure the distance between the patient's nipples with a thin string, cut it in half, and fold it. Measure outward from the nipple to the costal gap, and moxa 3 or 7 cones at the end of the string, left for males, right for females. Sudden *Zhuwu* attacking the heart and chest, moxa the 7th thoracic vertebra, number of cones based on age. Also moxa 3 cones 1 cun below the heart. Also moxa the crossing of the elbows, number of cones based on age. All food-related *Zhu*, moxa the tip of the little finger, number of cones based on age, left for males, right for females. Five Poisons *Zhu*, causing inability to eat and various diseases, moxa 3 cun below the heart, Weiguan (CV12) 10 cones. Water *Zhu* with gurgling water in the mouth, the Classic says "Lung overacting on Kidney," vomiting water after eating, moxa Feishu (BL13). Also moxa Sanyinjiao (SP6). Also moxa Qimen (LR14) to drain Lung and tonify Kidney. Number of cones based on age. For all *Zhu* diseases regardless of duration, first lie supine, moxa the third intercostal space obliquely downward from the edge of both breasts, number of cones based on age, up to 300 cones. Also a divine good prescription for treating all Qi disorders. Also named Zhushi. Jianshi (PC5), Qibo stated it treats ghost and evil spirits. (Mingxia note) Tong note states it can be moxaed for sudden death caused by ghost evils. An internal female relative suddenly died postpartum. Urgently called her mother to prepare funeral arrangements. Upon arrival, the mother moxaed Huiyin (CV1) and Sanyinjiao (SP6) several cones each, and she revived. The mother was the daughter of a famous physician. For drowning deaths, rescue is possible even after one night. Undress the deceased, moxa the umbilicus, and they will live. (From *Jixiao Fang*)
