Ququan (SP8), (see section on Hernia). Xingjian (LR2) governs strangury. Pain in the shaft of the penis. *Qianjin Fang* states: Qichong (ST30) governs impotence and pain in the shaft of the penis. Lieque (LU7), (see section on Spermatorrhea). Yinlingquan (SP9), Shaofu (HT8) govern pain in the yin region. Guilai (ST29) governs running piglet qi ascending to the testicles and drawing pain into the shaft of the penis. Guilai (ST29) treats abdominal running piglet qi. Retraction of the testicles with pain in the shaft of the penis. *Tongren Shuxue Zhenjiu Tujing* states: Henggu (KI11) treats pain in the genital organs during extension or retraction. (See section on Strangury). Shuidao (ST28) treats fullness in the lower abdomen, drawing pain into the yin region. (See section on Lower Abdominal Fullness). Qichong (ST30) treats pain in the shaft of the penis. (See section on Impotence). Huiyin (CV1) treats various diseases of the yin, mutual pulling pain between front and back, inability to urinate or defecate, cold at the tip of the yin with cold qi rushing to the heart. Dadun (LR1) treats headache of the yin. (See section on Hernia). Shenshu (BL23), (see section on Exhaustion). Zhishi (BL52), (see section on Swelling of the Yin). Yinggu (KI10), (see section on Difficulty in Urination). Dachong (LR4), (see section on Difficult Urination). Treats pain in the yin region.
*Qianjin Yi Fang* records: Diseases caused by Seven Injuries include red and hot urine, intermittently frequent yet difficult urination, sometimes feeling severely injured, sometimes like needle pricks, constant dampness in the yin region, impotence with shrinking of the genitals, clear and scanty semen, continuous spontaneous emission, coldness at the tip of the yin, and pain in the shaft of the penis, etc. (One should take medicine early and apply moxibustion.) For pain in the shaft of the penis, moxa-burn Xingjian (LR2) for thirty moxa cones.
Zhangmen (LR13) treats bladder qi masses, hernias, and accumulations. The manifestation of bladder qi pain resembles thunderous accumulation of qi. (Ming dynasty texts record): Qibo treated bladder qi attacking both hypochondria with moxibustion; at this time, there was rumbling below the navel, and the testicles retracted into the abdomen. Moxa-busture 37 cones at each point, located 1.6 cun lateral to 6 cun below the navel. Wushu (GB25) treats bladder qi attacking both hypochondria. (Lower texts record): For cold in the bladder, apply moxibustion according to the method for kidney deficiency. (*Qianjin Fang* records): Insufficiency of fluids in the bladder and Sanjiao, cold-heat complex in the large and small intestines. (See section on Lower Back Pain). Or if there is cold-heat in the Sanjiao, moxa-busture Xiaochangshu (BL27) for fifty cones. Heat qi in the Sanjiao, bladder, and kidneys: moxa-busture Shuidao (ST28) using the "cones according to age" method. Shuidao (ST28) treats fullness in the lower abdomen, drawing pain into the yin, stiffness and urgency of the waist and back, cold in the bladder, heat binding in the Sanjiao, and difficult urination.
*Qianjin Fang* says: Qichong (ST30) governs... [text missing/symbol]. *Mingtang Jing* says: Qichong (ST30) treats hernia. Therefore, hernia is... [text missing/symbol]. Biyong Yun: Treats water... [text missing/symbol] being disproportionately large, up and down... [text missing/symbol], unbearable pain, commonly called bladder qi. Thus, bladder qi is... [text missing/symbol] hernia. However, when Taiweigong diagnosed a noblewoman, he said: Hernia qi lodges in the bladder, causing difficulty in urinating and defecating, and red urine. Therefore, one cannot simply equate bladder qi with hernia qi.
