(1) For emaciation, cough, and bone-steaming fever (a sensation of heat emanating from the bones, often associated with Yin deficiency), it is beneficial to marinate or roast the meat with Wuweizi (Schisandra chinensis) and consume it. Large crows are not suitable for consumption; their flesh is astringent and dry, serving only medicinal purposes rather than as a regular dietary food. [Evidence]
(2) Instilling the fluid from the eyes of the dove-crow into the eyes allows one to see spirits and ghosts at night. Furthermore, this substance is also required in the "Shentong Eye Method" (Divine Vision Eye Technique). Additionally, the "Beidi Ghost-Capturing Record" utilizes the eggs of the dove-crow. [Evidence]
(1) The meat: Treats sores and ulcers; roast it with clear wine and consume. Eating it enhances physical beauty. [Evidence]
(2) Additionally, it treats marital discord. Prepare it as a soup and secretly feed it to one's spouse, which will immediately foster mutual affection and love. [Evidence]
(1) Honey treats evil qi in the heart and abdomen, various forms of fright and epilepsy, and tonifies the deficient Qi of the Five Zang organs. It benefits the Middle Jiao, alleviates pain, detoxifies, eliminates numerous diseases, harmonizes hundred herbs, nourishes Spleen Qi, removes mental restlessness and stuffiness, and addresses anorexia. [Evidence]
(2) To treat epigastric/abdominal pain, stabbing abdominal pain due to blood stasis, and dysentery (red and white), crush fresh Dihuang (Rehmannia glutinosa) to extract its juice, mix with one large spoonful of honey, and ingest. Relief follows immediately. [Evidence]
(3) Long-term consumption results in a complexion as beautiful as flowers; immortal formulas highly value this substance. If one feels feverish or experiences disharmony in the four limbs, drinking a bowl of honey water is very effective. [Evidence]
(4) It can stop diarrhea, eliminate mouth ulcers, clarify the ears and eyes, and long-term consumption prevents hunger. [Evidence]
(5) For applying to ocular hot nebulae (corneal opacities caused by heat), domesticated white honey is the superior grade, wood honey is secondary, and cliff honey is inferior. [Evidence]
(6) To treat Leprosy (Lai disease, referring to severe skin diseases like leprosy), take one jin (approx. 500g) of white honey and three jin of fresh ginger. Crush the ginger to extract the juice. First, weigh the copper pot to know its tare weight. Melt the honey in the pot. Weigh again to determine the net weight of the honey. Add the ginger juice to the honey and simmer over low heat until the ginger juice is completely evaporated. Weigh the honey again; when the weight stabilizes, the medicine is prepared. Patients suffering from thirty-year-old leprosy should take one pill the size of a jujube kernel in the early morning, three times a day, taken down with wine as desired. Avoid raw, cold, sour, slippery, and foul-smelling foods. There are many functions, but people generally entrust them to others or cannot list them all individually. [Evidence]
