For any pain located in the soft area of the chest, it is named Wei Wan Tong (Stomach Epigastrium Pain), which arises solely from Qi stagnation or Cold pathogen. It may lead to lifelong incurability or be transmitted from mother to son. The common name "Xin Qi Tong" (Heart Qi Pain) is incorrect; it is actually Qi stagnation or Cold stagnation within the Wei Wan (Stomach Epigastrium).
Formula: Xiang Fu Zi (Cyperus Rhizome, soaked in rice vinegar seven times, stir-fried seven times, and ground into fine powder); Gao Liang Jiang (Galangal Rhizome, soaked in wine overnight, stir-fried, and ground into fine powder). The above two ingredients should be stored separately in sealed porcelain bottles. If the pain is caused by Cold, use 2 qian of Gao Liang Jiang powder and 1 qian of Xiang Fu powder. If caused by Qi stagnation, use 2 qian of Xiang Fu powder and 1 qian of Gao Liang Jiang powder. If caused by both Qi stagnation and Cold, use 1.5 qian of each, mix evenly, add one teaspoon of fresh ginger juice and a pinch of salt, and take with hot rice soup or boiling water. Pain relief will be immediate. After taking it seven or eight times, the root cause can be eliminated, preventing recurrence.
Another prescription: Use 2 qian of Ji Nei Jin (Chicken Gizzard Membrane, stir-fried on a tile until charred but retaining efficacy), mixed with a little brown sugar and taken orally, to treat stomach pain due to... [text incomplete].

Take 7 qian per dose, decoct three pieces of Ai Ye (Mugwort Leaf) and seven grains of Hu Jiao (Black Pepper) finely ground in water, and take the pills with this decoction for cure.
Another prescription: Zhen Cai You (True Rapeseed Oil) or Ma You (Sesame Oil) and Bai Tang (White Sugar), each 4 liang. Boil the oil, remove from fire, add the sugar, mix well, and take orally for cure.
