If not treated urgently, the condition may spread over the whole body and become incurable. Treat it according to the Snail Formula (Woniu Fang) mentioned above. Alternatively, using the Deer Horn and Pig Gallbladder Formula (Lujiao Zhudan Fang) mentioned above is even more effective.

Another prescription: Use quail feces, pigeon feces, and walnut shells (i.e., walnuts), decoct in water. Dip a silk cloth into the hot decoction and apply it to the affected area; it will heal immediately. Avoid consuming mutton, goose, and fish.

This condition is also known as "Jiu Ci" (Alcohol Acne). It arises from blood heat in the Lung Meridian (Fei Jing), manifesting on the face and nose. The lesions are small and numerous like millet grains, red in color, swollen, painful, and discharge a powdery fluid when ruptured. Use equal parts of Rhubarb (Dahuang) and Sulfur (Liuhuang), grind into powder, mix with cool water, and apply topically. Internally administer herbs that clear Lung heat, and it will heal spontaneously.

Another prescription: Calomel (Qingfen), Scutellaria Root (Huangqin), Angelica Dahurica (Baizhi), Aconitum Carmichaelii Dechilded (Baifuzi), and Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), each 1 qian. Grind into powder and form pills with honey. When washing the face daily, rub the area multiple times. Before going to sleep, wash the face thoroughly again and rub. Within three days, scars and marks will disappear. Alternatively, the Fuzi and Shell Powder Formula (Fuzi Ha Fen Fang) for freckles mentioned below is also effective.

Another prescription: Zishen, Danshen, Dangshen, Kushen, and Shashen, each 1 liang. Grind into powder. Mash Walnut Meat (Hu Tao Rou, also known as walnut) until blended, then combine with the powder to form pills the size of Sophora seeds (Wu Zi Wan).

The spots may be yellow or black, countless in number. They result from fire stagnating in the Blood level (Xue Fen) and wind pathogens externally combusting. Use Lizhen Yurong San: Dogtooth Violet Bean (Zhuya Zaojiao), Purple-backed Duckweed (Zibei Fuping), Green Plum (Qingmei), and Cherry (Yingtao), each 1 liang, and White Eagle Droppings (Yingshi Bai) 3 qian (or white pigeon droppings can be used instead). Grind all into fine powder. In the morning and evening, take a small amount... [text missing] ...and apply.

Another prescription: Aconitum Carmichaelii Dechilded (Fuzi), Shell Powder (Ha Fen), Poria (Fuling), Angelica Dahurica (Baizhi), Litharge (Tuoseng), and Kaempferia Galanga (Shannai), each 5 qian. Grind into powder, mix with honey, and rub onto the face. Wash off the next day. This is very effective and can also treat Jiu Ci (Alcohol Acne).

Another prescription: Tender tips of Xanthium Strumarium Herb (Canger Cao) mixed with a little salt, mashed into a paste. Between May and June, rub onto the affected area more than ten times every other day. This is very effective.

Another prescription: Purple-backed Duckweed (Zibei Fuping) and Stephania Tetrandra Root (Han Fangji). Decoct in water and wash the face. Or dry them, grind into powder, and rub onto the skin. This is very effective.

Grind Olive Pit (Ganlan He) into water and rub onto the affected area; it will heal without leaving any traces. Alternatively, rubbing with white sugar is also excellent.

Another prescription: Fresh Ginger Juice (Shengjiang Ziran Zhi), mixed with Calomel (Qingfen) powder, and rubbed onto the area; this also leaves no traces.

Yurong Powder (Yurong Fen): Treats freckles, Jiu Ci (Alcohol Acne), Lung Wind (Fei Feng), Rosacea (Jiuzaobi), and all types of spots on the face. Mung Beans (Lv Dou) 1 sheng, dried Lotus Petals (Hehua Ban) 2 liang, Talcum (Huashi), Angelica Dahurica (Baizhi), and Aconitum Carmichaelii Dechilded (Baifuzi), each 5 qian, Borax (Bingpian), and Litharge (Miduoseng), each 2 qian. Grind all into fine powder. Rub onto the face after washing in the morning and evening.
