One cun below. Shenque (Conception Vessel 8, Umbilicus) is one cun below Shuifen (Conception Vessel 9), located at the center of the umbilicus. Yinjiao (Conception Vessel 7) is one cun below the umbilicus. Qihai (Conception Vessel 6, Sea of Qi) is one cun and five fen below the umbilicus. Shimen (Conception Vessel 5, Stone Gate), also known as Tiandans (Conception Vessel 12, Elixir Field), is two cun below the umbilicus. Guanyuan (Conception Vessel 4, Gate of Origin) is three cun below the umbilicus. Zhongji (Conception Vessel 3, Central Pole) is four cun below the umbilicus. Qugu (Conception Vessel 2, Curved Bone) is one cun below Zhongji, entering halfway into the pubic hairline within the transverse bone (pubic symphysis). Therefore, from Xiawan (Stomach Channel 10, Lower Stomach) to Henggu (Bladder Channel 30, Transverse Bone), the distance is only six cun and half a cun. This is the method for measuring abdominal acupoints: using the xiphoid process (breastbone) above, the pubic symphysis (transverse bone) below, and the center of the umbilicus in the middle as reference points, each is measured separately. (One point below the external genitalia.) Refers to the area between the two external genitalia, where there is another acupoint named Huiyin (Conception Vessel 1, Meeting of Yin). (One on each side under the eyes.) Refers to Chengqi (Stomach Channel 1, Receiving Qi) acupoints, located seven fen below the eyes, which are the meeting points of the Conception Vessel, Yang Heel Vessel, and Foot-Yangming Stomach Channel qi. (One below the lower lip.) Refers to Chengjiang (Conception Vessel 24, Receiving Fluids) acupoint, located in the depression below the lip. (Jiao one.) Refers to Jiaoxin (Kidney Channel 8, Intersection Trust)? The text notes an acupoint located in the gum line inside the lips. Ancient texts mention "Jiao" having two meanings: the Du Mai's "Jiao" enters the upper teeth, while the Ren Mai's "Jiao" enters the lower teeth. Because the upper and lower teeth intersect, it is named "Jiao". Above, there are twenty-seven acupoints in total, but one is missing; I believe this refers to an acupoint below the umbilicus other than Qihai. (Those emitted by Chong Mai qi.) Twenty-two acupoints. Half a cun lateral to Jiutui (Ren Mai 15, Shield Tail) on both sides, down to the umbilicus, one acupoint per cun. (This states that Chong Mai acupoints are half a cun lateral to Jiutui on both sides, extending down to the umbilicus, with one acupoint every cun. Youmen (Kidney Channel 15,幽門) are two acupoints, five fen lateral to Juque (Ren Mai 14, Great阙). Tonggu (Kidney Channel 14, Through Valley) is one cun below Youmen. Yindu (Kidney Channel 13, Yin Capital) is one cun below Tonggu. Shiguan (Kidney Channel 12, Stone Gate) is one cun below Yindu. Shangqu (Kidney Channel 11, Upper Curve) is one cun below Shiguan. Huangshu (Kidney Channel 10, Blind Tube) is one cun below Shangqu.) Five fen lateral to both sides of the umbilicus, down to Henggu, one acupoint per cun. This is the Abdominal Pulse Method. (These are Chong Mai acupoints, five fen lateral to both sides of the lower abdomen, with one cun distance between each acupoint. This is the method for measuring abdominal pulses. Since abdominal acupoints lack deep depressions, they can be measured precisely. Using the xiphoid process and Jiutui above, the umbilicus in the middle, and the pubic symphysis below as the standard.) Zhongzhu (Kidney Channel 9, Middle Note) is one cun below Huangshu. Siman (Kidney Channel 8, Four Fullnesses) is one cun below Zhongzhu. Qixue (Kidney Channel 7, Qi Hole), also known as Baomen (Womb Gate) or Zihu (Child House), is one cun below Siman. Dahe (Kidney Channel 6, Great Harmony), also known as Yinguans (Yin Pass) or Yinwei (Yin Linking Vessel), is one cun below Qixue. Henggu (Bladder Channel 30, Transverse Bone) is one cun below Dahe, located below Yinlian (Liver Channel 11, Yin Rampart) within the pubic symphysis, resembling a crescent moon, one cun and five fen from the midline. According to the *Tu Jing*, Henggu, Dahe, and Qixue are all one cun and half a cun from the midline.) One on each side of the tongue root for Foot-Shaoyin, and one for Jimai (Liver Channel 5, Urgent Pulse) in the pubic hair region for Foot-Jueyin. (Foot-Shaoyin below the tongue refers to the Kidney Channel ascending to connect with the Heart, following the throat, flanking the base of the tongue, with acupoint apertures of the Kidney Channel under the tongue. Foot-Jueyin Jimai refers to the Liver Channel starting at the hairy margin of the big toe, reflecting the tautness of Liver qi. This chapter discusses acupoints emitted by the qi of the Hand and Foot Three-Yang channels, totaling 365 acupoints, corresponding to the degrees of the celestial sphere. It mentions Foot-Shaoyin below the tongue, Foot-Jueyin in the pubic hair region, and the Thenar/Hypothenar eminences of hands and feet, implying the presence of Five-Zang channels among them, showing that Yin exists within Yang. However, channel qi originates from the generation of the Five Zang and Five Elements, and the qi of the Three Yang also emerges from Yin. Zhang Zhaohuang said: Mentioning the start of the Liver Channel in the pubic hair and the end of the Kidney Channel under the tongue implies that Yang qi is born from the beginning of Yin qi, and Yang channels intersect with Yin channels at their end.) One on each side for Hand-Shaoyin. (Among the 365 acupoints, there are two acupoints of the Heart Channel.) One on each side for Yin and Yang Heel Vessels. (Yin Qiao refers to Jiaoxin (Kidney Channel 8) two acupoints; Yang Qiao refers to Fuyang (Bladder Channel 59) two acupoints. Although this chapter discusses acupoints emitted by the qi of the Hand and Foot Three-Yang channels, it includes Yin channels such as Chong, Ren, Yin Qiao, and the Five Zang.) Those emitted by the qi of the Thenar and Hypothenar eminences of hands and feet. (Thenar/Hypothenar refers to the raised white flesh on hands and feet, resembling fish bellies, with acupoints located at their margins. The hand thenar/hypothenar emits Lung Channel qi; the foot thenar/hypothenar emits Spleen Channel qi.) In total, 365 acupoints. (The Hand and Foot Three-Yang channels emit 298 acupoints. The Du, Ren, and Chong vessels emit 78 acupoints. The Five Zang channels emit 10 acupoints. The Yin and Yang Qiao vessels emit 4 acupoints. Totaling 390 acupoints. Among these, Sun Taiyang repeats five Du Mai acupoints, Foot-Shaoyang repeats ten acupoints, Hand-Taiyang repeats two Daying acupoints, Hand-Shaoyang repeats two Xuanli acupoints, Fengchi (Gallbladder Channel 20) two acupoints, Tianchuang (Small Intestine Channel 16) two acupoints, Quanliao (Large Intestine Channel 18) two acupoints, totaling 25 repeated acupoints. Excluding the repetitions, there are actually 365 acupoints.)
