(Primarily treats the Heart and Spleen. Originating from *Suwen: Yin Yang Bie Lun*)
Diseases of the Two Yang meridians (Yangming Stomach and Large Intestine) affect the Heart and Spleen, resulting in an inability to disclose hidden ailments (referring to private issues such as sexual or reproductive dysfunction). In women, this manifests as menstrual disorders and amenorrhea; Spleen disease leads to indigestion, and excessive Wind pathogen consumes the True Qi.
Huangqi Qianghuo Tang (Astragalus and Notopterygium Decoction) is the primary formula: It treats diseases affecting the Heart and Spleen, characterized by deficiency of Essence and Blood, fatigue, and progressive emaciation.
Huangqi (Astragali Radix, 1.5 liang, remove rhizome base) Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix) Shihu (Dendrobii Caulis) Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) Zhike (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, stir-fried with fire, remove pith) Renshen (Ginseng Radix) Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix) Muli (Ostreae Concha, calcined) Heifuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, processed) Fuling (Poria, remove bark) Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus) Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, soaked in wine, each 1 liang) Xuduan (Dipsaci Radix, 0.5 liang) Digupi (Cortex Lycii, 3 fen)
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Take 3 qian per dose, decoct with one large cup of water until reduced to 8/10 volume, strain, and take warm at any time, three times daily.
(Primarily treats the Heart. Originating from *Suwen: Yin Yang Bie Lun*)
Disease of the One Yang meridian (Shaoyang Gallbladder and Sanjiao) presents with shortness of breath, cough, and diarrhea. Dysfunction of the Sanjiao (Triple Burner) results in upper cough and lower diarrhea. The Heart Fire is restless, manifesting as palpitations with a pulling sensation.
Tiaozhong Tang (Regulating the Middle Decoction) is the primary formula: It treats cardiac palpitations and restlessness, stabbing pain in the chest, Qi stagnation and obstruction, severe cough above, and severe diarrhea below.
Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, processed) Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) Renshen (Ginseng Radix) Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus) Chifuling (Poria cum Rubro, remove bark) Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried, each 1 liang) Guongui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 1.5 liang)

(Primarily treats the Spleen and Stomach. Originating from *Suwen: Yin Yang Bie Lun*)
Disease involving One Yang and One Yin meridians (Shaoyang and Jueyin) presents with fright, back pain, belching, and yawning, termed Fengjue Syndrome (Wind-Jue Disorder). This occurs because the Stomach (Earth) is controlled by the Liver (Wood); excessive Wind overcomes Dampness, failing to control Kidney Water, leading to rebellious Qi ascending.
Yuanzhi San (Polygalae Powder) is the primary formula: It treats Fengjue Syndrome, frequent fright, back pain, easy belching, easy yawning, depression, and generalized back pain.
Yuanzhi (Polygalae Radix, remove heart) Renshen (Ginseng Radix) Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma, remove seedlings) Baifuling (Poria, remove bark) Huangqi (Astragali Radix, remove rhizome base) Guongui (Cinnamomi Cortex, each 2.5 liang)
