治牙疳。
蚕退纸(烧灰)五分，人中白(烧过)五分，红褐片
(烧灰)五分，白砒(枣肉包烧烟尽，取用)一分，共为
末，搽之。
兰香叶、当归、藿香叶、木香各一钱，升麻二钱，
生地(酒洗)、甘草各二钱，黄连(酒炒)、砂仁各五钱，
共为末，汤浸蒸饼为丸，白汤送下。
用妇人尿桶中白垢，刮取锻尽烟一钱，铜绿二分，
麝香半分，共为末，以腊茶浸米泔水洗净血后，搽此药。
宣风散
槟榔二个，陈皮、甘草各两半，牵牛（半生半炒），
共为末，蜜水调，食前服。
用雄鼠一只，烂尽肉，取骨研末，加麝香少许，擦
上， 用姜汤漱口。
西江 月
上下牙龈黑烂，龈宣息露堪嗟，败唇穿鼻落齿牙，迅速呼为
走马。肉坏咽喉可畏，啼声渐变哑嘎， 又名狐惑兆非佳， 治螶回
疮无价[40]。
咽者， 胃腕主纳水谷; 喉者，肺管主气出入，为一身之总要。
若胸膈间蕴积热毒，致生风痰，壅滞而不散，发而为咽喉病，名
虽数种，皆受热毒，宜速解热毒， 缓则有难救之患。轻则甘桔
汤，重则化毒汤主之。
如出痘疮而咽喉痛者，此毒气上攻也，加减甘桔汤主之。喉中
生疮，不能吮乳者，化毒汤主之。
小儿为诸骨所哽，骨大难咽者，以鹅羽扫喉吐之。骨小者，
用海上方及祝由科治之， 不治恐伤人。
误吞麦芒者，取鹅口中涎咽之，即效。
治疗牙疳。
将蚕退纸（烧成灰）五分、人中白（烧过）五分、红褐片（烧成灰）五分、白砒（用枣肉包裹，烧至烟尽后取用）一分，共同研为细末，外搽患处。

宣风散：槟榔二个，陈皮、甘草各半两，牵牛子（一半生用，一半炒制），共同研为细末，用蜂蜜水调匀，饭前服用。
取一只雄鼠，将其肉烂尽，取出骨头研为细末，加入少许麝香，擦涂患处，用药后用姜汤漱口。
西江月词曰：上下牙龈黑烂，牙龈萎缩暴露令人叹息，嘴唇溃败穿孔、牙齿脱落，迅速被称为走马牙疳。肌肉腐烂危及咽喉可怕，哭声逐渐变得嘶哑，这又是狐惑病的征兆，并非吉兆，治疗这种恶疮的方法无价之宝。
咽部，由胃所主，负责接纳水谷；喉部，是肺的管道，主管气的出入，是人体生命活动的总要枢纽。如果胸膈之间蕴积热毒，导致产生风痰，壅滞不散，发作而成咽喉病，名称虽有多种，但都是受热毒所致，应当迅速解除热毒，拖延则会有难以救治的祸患。轻症用甘桔汤，重症用化毒汤主治。
如果是出痘疮而咽喉疼痛的，这是毒气上攻所致，用加减甘桔汤主治。喉中生疮，不能吮吸乳汁的，用化毒汤主治。
小儿被各种骨头卡住，骨头大难以下咽的，用鹅毛扫喉催吐排出。骨头小的，用海上方及祝由科方法治疗，不治疗恐怕会伤人。
误吞麦芒的，取鹅口中的唾液吞咽下去，立即见效。
Treatment for gan gang (gangrenous stomatitis).
Cicada sloughing paper (burned to ash) 5 fen, Renzhongbai (calcined) 5 fen, Hongbepian (burned to ash) 5 fen, Bipi (wrapped in jujube flesh, burned until smoke ceases, then used) 1 fen. Grind all together into a fine powder and apply externally to the affected area.
Lanxiangye (Perilla Leaf), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root), Huoxiangye (Patchouli Leaf), Muxiang (Aucklandia Root) each 1 qian; Shengma (Cimicifuga Rhizome) 2 qian; Shengdi (Rehmannia Root prepared with wine), Gancao (Licorice Root) each 2 qian; Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome stir-fried with wine), Sharen (Amomum Fruit) each 5 qian. Grind all together into a fine powder. Soak steamed leaven cake in decoction to form pills. Take orally with warm water.
Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, half raw and half stir-fried) ground into a fine powder. Form pills with refined honey. Take orally with warm water.
Scrape white scale from a woman's urine pot. Use 1 qian of Duanjin Yan (smoke residue from smelting), 2 fen of Tonglv (Verdigris), and 0.5 fen of Shexiang (Musk). Grind together into a fine powder. First, wash away blood stains with rice water infused with aged tea, then apply this medicine.
Xuanfeng San (Dispel Wind Powder): Binglang (Areca Seed) 2 pieces; Chenpi (Citrus Reticulata Peel), Gancao (Licorice Root) each half tael; Qianniu (Morning Glory Seed, half raw and half stir-fried). Grind together into a fine powder. Mix with honey water and take before meals.
Take one male rat, rot away the flesh completely, take the bones, grind them into a fine powder, add a small amount of Shexiang (Musk), and rub onto the lesion. Rinse mouth with ginger soup after application.
Jiangxi Yue (Song to the Tune of Jiangxi Moon):
Black and rotten gums above and below,
Gums receding and teeth exposed, causing sighs;
Rotten lips, perforated nose, falling teeth,
Quickly called "Running Horse" [gangrenous stomatitis].
Flesh necrosis in the throat is terrifying,
Cry changes to hoarseness gradually;
Also known as a sign of Huhuo (Fox Deception disease), not auspicious.
The treatment for this malignant sore is priceless.
The pharynx (Yan) is governed by the Stomach and is responsible for receiving food and drink; the larynx (Hou) is the tube of the Lung and governs the entry and exit of Qi. Together they are the vital hub of the body. If heat toxins accumulate in the chest and diaphragm, generating wind-phlegm that obstructs and does not disperse, it manifests as throat diseases. Although there are various names, all are caused by heat toxins. It is advisable to resolve heat toxins quickly; delay may lead to incurable complications. For mild cases, Ganjie Tang (Licorice and Platycodon Decoction) is indicated; for severe cases, Huadu Tang (Detoxification Decoction) is indicated.
If throat pain occurs during smallpox eruption, this is due to toxic qi attacking upward; Jiajian Ganjie Tang (Modified Licorice and Platycodon Decoction) is indicated. If sores form in the throat preventing suckling, Huadu Tang (Detoxification Decoction) is indicated.
If a child is choked by bones that are large and difficult to swallow, sweep the throat with goose feathers to induce vomiting and expel them. For smaller bones, treat using Hai Shang Fang (Sea Superior Prescriptions) or Zhuyou Ke (Divination Therapy); failure to treat may cause harm.
If wheat awns are accidentally swallowed, take saliva from a goose's mouth and swallow it; effectiveness is immediate.
