导赤散
治心燥啼，面赤，小便亦赤，口中热，腹上亦热，或有汗，仰身而啼，至晓方息，
芩煎。未效，通心饮加麦门冬、车前子、灯心、薄荷煎。或用灯心烧灰，涂乳上与儿饮

六神散
治腹痛啼哭，面青，口中冷气，四肢亦冷，曲腰而啼。或大便泄泻青白粪，及不吮
人参 山药（炒） 白术（各半两） 甘草（三钱） 白茯苓 白扁豆（炒。各一两）
上为末。每服一钱，姜二片，枣一枚煎。一方，用当归，白芍药，人参各二钱半，甘草、

蒜丸
治冷证腹痛，夜啼，面青，手冷。
大蒜（一枚，慢火煨香熟，取出细切，烂研，日中或火上焙半干，研） 乳香（半钱，

研）上研匀，丸如芥子大。每服七粒，乳空时服。
安神丸
治外客忤犯夜啼，金银汤化开服。（方见前。）
黄土散
治小儿卒客忤。
灶中黄土 蚯蚓屎（各等分）
上研匀，和水涂儿头上及五心良。
触犯禁忌夜啼方
服苏合香丸，以醋炭熏及用方术驱之。口到乳上便啼，身额必微热，急看
重舌，根据前口疮，重舌类治之，其啼自止。
单方
治因脏腑有热，渴饮水浆，致成泄利，久则血气虚弱，不能上交脑髓，故囟陷如坑，
得满平。宜用黄狗头骨炙黄，为末，鸡子清调之敷。
导赤散
治疗心经燥热引起的啼哭，面部发红，小便颜色也红，口中感觉发热，腹部也有热感，有时伴有出汗，身体后仰而啼哭，直到天亮才停止。
用黄芩煎服。如果无效，使用通心饮，加入麦门冬、车前子、灯心草、薄荷煎服。或者将灯心草烧成灰，涂抹在乳头处让婴儿吮吸，也能见效。（方剂详见前文。）
六神散
治疗因腹痛引起的啼哭，面色发青，口中呼出冷气，四肢也发冷，弯腰曲背而啼哭。或者大便泄泻，排出青色或白色的粪便，以及不愿吃奶。
人参、山药（炒制）、白术（各半两）、甘草（三钱）、白茯苓、白扁豆（炒制，各一两）。
以上药物研为细末。每次服用一钱，加生姜两片、大枣一枚煎服。另一配方，使用当归、白芍药、人参各二钱半，甘草、桔梗……（原文此处中断）
蒜丸
治疗寒证引起的腹痛和夜啼，面色发青，手脚冰冷。
大蒜（一枚，用慢火煨至香熟，取出切碎，捣烂研磨，在日光下或火上焙至半干，再研细），乳香（半钱，单独研细）。
将上述药物研匀，制成如芥菜籽大小的丸剂。每次服用七粒，在乳汁排空时服用。
安神丸
治疗因外邪客忤犯引起的夜啼，用金银汤化开服下。（方剂详见前文。）
黄土散
治疗小儿突然遭受客忤邪气侵袭。
灶心土、蚯蚓屎（各等分）。
以上药物研匀，加水调和，涂抹在婴儿头部及手心、脚心、胸口（五心），效果良好。
触犯禁忌导致的夜啼方
服用苏合香丸，用醋炭熏蒸，并使用法术驱邪。如果口触到乳头就啼哭，额头和身体必有微热，需仔细检查是否有重舌（舌下生肉瘤），根据前文口疮、重舌类的方法治疗，啼哭自然停止。
单方
治疗因脏腑有热，口渴饮水浆，导致泄泻痢疾，日久则气血虚弱，不能上充脑髓，因此囟门凹陷如坑，需要使其恢复饱满平整。宜用黄狗头骨炙烤至黄，研为细末，用鸡蛋清调匀后敷贴。
Daoye San (Guide Out Red Powder)
Treats crying due to Heart dryness-heat, with a red face, reddish urine, heat in the mouth, and heat in the abdomen. There may be sweating, crying while arching the back, and cessation only at dawn.
Decoct Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix). If ineffective, use Tongxin Yin (Heart-Unblocking Decoction) added with Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix), Qianzi (Plantaginis Semen), Dengxincao (Junci Medulla), and Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba). Alternatively, burn Dengxincao (Junci Medulla) to ash, apply to the nipple for the infant to suckle; this is also effective. (Formulas are seen in the preceding text.)
Liushen San (Six-God Powder)
Treats crying due to abdominal pain, with a cyan face, cold breath from the mouth, cold limbs, and crying while bending the waist. Or diarrhea with green and white feces, and refusal to suckle.
Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Shanyao (Dioscoreae Rhizoma [stir-fried]), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) (each 0.5 liang), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (3 qian), Baifuling (Poria), Baibiandou (Phaseoli Semen [stir-fried]) (each 1 liang).
Grind into powder. Take 1 qian per dose, decoct with 2 slices of Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma) and 1 Zao (Jujubae Fructus). Another prescription uses Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Baishaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), and Renshen (Ginseng Radix) each 2.5 qian, Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix)... Suan Wan (Garlic Pill)
Treats abdominal pain and night crying due to cold syndromes, with a cyan face and cold hands and feet.
Dasuan (Allii Sativi Bulbus) (one bulb, slow-fire roasted until fragrant and cooked, taken out, finely chopped, pounded and ground, dried to half-dry under sun or fire, then ground), Xuxiang (Boswelliae Resin) (0.5 qian, separately ground).
Mix evenly, form pills the size of mustard seeds. Take seven pills per dose when the breast is empty.
Anshen Wan (Calming Spirit Pill)
Treats night crying caused by external "Ke Wu" (hostile spirits/evil influences). Dissolve and take with Jin Yin Tang (Silver Decoction). (Formula is seen in the preceding text.)
Huangtu San (Yellow Earth Powder)
Treats sudden "Ke Wu" (hostile spirits/evil influences) in infants.
Zaohuangtu (Caulis Fodiens) and Qiuyinshi (Ascaris Excrement) (equal parts).
Grind evenly, mix with water, and apply to the infant's head and the five centers (palms, soles, chest); this is excellent.
Night Crying Due to Taboo Violation
Take Suhexiang Wan (Styrax Pill), fumigate with charcoal smoked with vinegar, and use ritual arts to exorcise. If crying occurs upon touching the nipple, there must be slight heat on the body and forehead. Urgently check for Chongshe (double tongue/sublingual swelling). Treat according to the methods for mouth ulcers and double tongue mentioned previously; the crying will stop naturally.
Single Prescription
Treats diarrhea resulting from internal organ heat causing thirst and drinking fluids. Prolonged illness leads to Qi and Blood deficiency, preventing upward nourishment of the brain marrow, thus causing the fontanelle to sink like a pit, requiring it to become full and flat. Use the skull of a yellow dog, roast until yellow, grind into powder, and apply mixed with egg white.
