上用真清油十四两，煎黑柳条焦枯，滤去滓，入黄丹五两，滴入水中成珠为度。却入诸
药搅
草乌尖、砂（即硇砂）、白丁香（质地坚硬的）。
以上药物研为细末。用酸醋调和点涂，能使已经破溃的疮疡迅速溃烂排脓，遇到紧急情况时，没有比这更快速有效的了。使用蜞针（水蛭）吸吮的方法也很奇妙，详见后文。
内护方
治疗痈疽发作，无论已成脓或未成脓，若服用内消方三五天无效，或者患者年龄四十岁以上，气血衰弱，此方可使已成的脓毒迅速溃破，未成的消散，服药至疮口愈合即可停止。此方能从内部巩固防御，去除腐肉，生长新肉。因此被称为“固垒元帅”，又名“加味十奇散”。
当归（酒浸）、桂心（不经过火烤）、人参、土芎（川芎的一种）、香白芷、防风（去芦头）、桔梗、浓朴（去掉粗皮，姜制）。
以上八味药，各取等份，共同研为细末。每次服用二钱，用酒调服，每日三次，病愈后停药。不饮酒者，可用麦门冬（去心）煎汤送服。
治诸发已溃，去旧生新，适用于老人气血虚弱，应当补益的情况。此方在溃破后服用，直至痊愈为止，因此被称为“护壁都尉”。
防风（去芦头）、浓朴（炮制方法同上）、苦梗（桔梗）、白芷、黄（炙。各半两）、川芎、甘草、柳桂、当归（各三钱）、人参（二钱）。
以上药物研为细末。每次服用二钱，空腹时用温热的盐酒调服，待疮口愈合后，继续服用一段时间效果更佳。不饮酒者，可用木香汤送服。兼服降气方。
治疗痈疽腐烂，以及各类疮疡毒邪。
雄黄（五钱）、滑石（用量加倍）。
以上药物研为细末，清洗疮面后撒在患处，外用棉絮覆盖保护。凡是清洗后破烂的疮口，都用此药贴敷。
治疗一切疮疡发作，恶臭腐烂令人难以靠近，未破溃的能促使破溃，已破溃的能促进长肉，杖疮、疔疮均可使用。
斑蝥（四十九个）、柳根（四十九条）、木鳖子（七个）、乳香、没药、麝香（少许）、松脂（三钱）。
以上药物用真清油十四两，煎炸黑柳条至焦枯，滤去药渣，加入黄丹五两，滴入水中能结成珠状即为火候适度。然后加入上述各种药物搅拌。
Rhizoma Aconiti Kusnezoffii (Caowu Jian), Natrii Chloridum Impurum (Sha, i.e., Nahorsan), Streptopeliae Faeces (Baodingxiang, specifically the harder ones).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with sour vinegar for topical application; this will hasten the suppuration and discharge of pus in already ulcerated lesions. In urgent situations, nothing is more rapid and effective than this method. The use of leeches (Qizhen) to suck out toxins is also excellent; see later sections.
Internal Protection Formula
Indicated for carbuncles and sores, whether suppurated or not. If internal resolution formulas fail after three to five days of use, or if the patient is over forty years old with deficient Qi and Blood, this formula promotes rapid rupture of established abscesses and dispersal of unformed swellings. Discontinue administration once the wound closes. It fortifies the body's interior defenses, eliminates necrotic tissue, and generates new flesh. Hence it is named "Marshal of the Fortified Ramparts" (Gulei Yuanshuai), also known as "Modified Ten Wonders Powder" (Jiawei Shiqi San).
Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui, soaked in wine), Cortex Cinnamomi (Guixin, not roasted), Radix Ginseng (Renshen), Rhizoma Chuanxiong (Tuxiong, a variety of Chuanxiong), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Xiangbaizhi), Radix Saposhnikoviae (Fangfeng, remove rhizome), Radix Platycodi (Jiegeng), Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis (Nongpo, remove rough bark, ginger-processed).
Take equal parts of the above eight herbs, grind together into a fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with wine. Administer three times daily; stop when cured. For those who do not consume alcohol, decoct Ophiopogonis Radix (Mendong, remove heart) and take with the powder.
Indicated for various ulcers that have already ruptured, promoting the elimination of old tissue and generation of new flesh. Suitable for elderly patients with weak Qi and Blood who require tonification. This formula is taken from the time of ulceration until healing is complete. Hence it is named "Commander of the Wall Protection" (Hubi Duwei).
Radix Saposhnikoviae (Fangfeng, remove rhizome), Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis (Nongpo, processed as above), Radix Platycodi (Kugeng), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi), Radix Astragali (Huang, honey-fried. Each 0.5 liang), Rhizoma Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao), Cortex Cinnamomi Cassiae (Liugui), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui. Each 3 qian), Radix Ginseng (Renshen. 2 qian).
Grind into a fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, administered on an empty stomach with warm salted wine. It is advisable to continue taking it for a period after the wound has closed. For those who do not drink alcohol, administer with Xiangmu Decoction. Also take the Qi-Descending Formula concurrently.
Indicated for gangrenous carbuncles and sores, and various toxic skin eruptions.
Realgar (Xionghuang. 5 qian), Talcum (Huashi. Double the dosage).
Grind into a fine powder. After washing the lesion, sprinkle the powder onto the sore and cover externally with cotton wool for protection. Apply this paste to any washed, broken, or ulcerated areas.
Indicated for all types of erupting sores that are foul-smelling and putrid, making them unbearable to approach. It induces rupture in unbroken lesions and promotes granulation in broken lesions. Applicable to beat marks (Zhangchuang) and furuncles (Dingchuang).
Mylabris (Banmao. 49 individuals), Willow Root (Liugen. 49 strips), Semen Momordicae (Mubiezi. 7 seeds), Resina Frankincense (Ruxiang), Resina Myrrha (Moyao), Moschus (Shexiang, a small amount), Pinus Resin (Songzhi. 3 qian).
Boil the above ingredients in 14 liang of pure sesame oil. Fry black willow branches until charred and dry, then filter out the dregs. Add Lithii Carbonas (Huandan) 5 liang. Test by dropping the liquid into water; it is ready when it forms bead-like pellets. Then add the other medicinal ingredients and stir.
