神功丸
治气壅风盛，大便秘涩，后重疼痛，烦闷。此药当量虚实加减。
大黄（四两，煨、蒸皆可） 人参（二两） 诃子皮（四两） 麻仁（二两，另研。）
上为末，炼蜜丸如梧子大。每服二十丸，温汤、酒、米饮任意下，食后临卧服。
槟榔丸
治大肠实热，气壅不通，心腹胀满，大便秘结。

又掩脐法∶
治大小便不通。用连根葱一茎，带土不洗，以生姜一块，淡豉二十一粒，盐二匙
捏饼烘热，掩挤中，以帛扎定，良久气透自通。不然，再换一剂。
神功丸
治疗气机壅滞、风邪亢盛导致的大便秘结涩滞，伴有肛门坠胀疼痛、心烦闷乱。此药应当根据患者虚实情况加减用量。

槟榔丸

四顺清凉饮
治疗方法同上。每次服用三钱，用水一盏半，灯心草十茎，枳壳十片（去瓤）煎煮，见效迅速。（方剂见积热类章节。）
小三黄丸
治疗热证引起的便秘，大便秘结。每次服用三十丸，温水送服。（方剂见积热类章节。）
小柴胡汤
治疗伤寒阳结证，患者能进食但大便排不出。（方剂见伤寒阳证类章节。）
槟榔散
治疗肠胃有湿邪，导致大便秘结涩滞。
槟榔（不限数量）
以上药物研为细末。每次服用二钱，用蜂蜜水调服，不拘时间。
甘遂散
治疗大小便不通。
取赤皮甘遂二两，研为细末，用蜂蜜二合调和均匀，分成四份，每份一两重，每日服用一份，用蜜水送下。
又一方
葵子末三合，青竹叶一把，用水一升，煮至沸腾五次，一次性服下。
又一方
葵子末三合，用水一升煮，去渣，分两次服用，配合猪脂二两，空腹服用。
又一方
治疗大小便关格不通，病程经过三五天的，用不蛀的皂角烧成灰，用米汤调服，即可通畅。
又一方
猪脂二两，用水一升，煮至沸腾三次，饮用汁液，立即通畅。
推车散
治疗大小便秘结，病程长达一个月，濒临死亡者。
推车客（七个） 土狗（七个。如果是男子患病，推车客用头部，土狗用身体；如果是女子患病，土狗用头部，推车客用身体）
放在新瓦上焙干，研为细末，用向南生长的虎目树皮浓煎汁液调服，仅服一次，效果神奇如神。
另一种敷脐法：
治疗大小便不通。用带根的葱一根，带土不洗，生姜一块，淡豆豉二十一粒，盐二匙，捏成饼状烘热，敷在肚脐中，用布扎紧，过一段时间气机透达自然通畅。如果不通，再换一副药。
Shengong Wan (Divine Power Pill)
Indicated for constipation with dryness and difficulty due to qi stagnation and flourishing wind, accompanied by tenesmus, pain, and irritability. The dosage of this formula should be adjusted according to the patient's deficiency or excess condition.
Rhubarb Radix et Rhizoma (4 liang, can be roasted or steamed) Ginseng Radix (2 liang) Chebulae Fructus Pericarpium (4 liang) Cannabis Semen (2 liang, ground separately).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder, mix with refined honey, and make pills the size of a Chinese quince seed. Take 20 pills each time, swallowed with warm water, wine, or rice decoction as preferred, after meals and before bedtime.
Binglang Wan (Areca Seed Pill)
Indicated for excess heat in the Large Intestine, qi stagnation and obstruction, leading to abdominal distension and fullness, and constipation.
Areca Seed Rhynchocorydis Semen (fried, shelled, ground separately) Immature Bitter Orange Aurantium Fructus Immaturus (bran-fried) Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (rhizome removed) Pharbitidis Semen (fried) Apricot Seed Armeniacae Semen (skin and tip removed, ground separately)
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder, mix with refined honey, and make pills the size of a Chinese quince seed. Take 40 pills each time on an empty stomach with well-boiled water.
Sishun Qingliang Yin (Four-Obedience Cooling Clearing Decoction)
Same indications as above. Take 3 qian each time, decoct with 1.5 cups of water, 10 stems of Juncus Arundo Root (Dengxincao), and 10 slices of Aurantium Fructus (pith removed). It acts rapidly. (See the section on Accumulated Heat.)
Xiao Sanhuang Wan (Minor Three-Yellow Pills)
Indicated for constipation due to heat, with hard stools. Take 30 pills each time with warm water. (See the section on Accumulated Heat.)
Xiao Chaihu Tang (Minor Bupleurum Decoction)
Indicated for Yang binding in Cold Damage, where the patient can eat but cannot pass stool. (See the section on Yang Syndromes of Cold Damage.)
Binglang San (Areca Seed Powder)
Indicated for constipation with dryness due to dampness in the Stomach and Intestines.
Areca Seed (any amount)
Grind the above ingredient into fine powder. Take 2 qian each time, mixed with honey water, at any time.
Xiangsu San (Aromatic Su Powder)
Adding more Aurantium Fructus and Areca Seed is also effective. (See the section on Harmonizing Formulas for Cold Damage.)
Gansui San (Kansui Root Powder)
Indicated for obstruction of both urination and defecation.
Take 2 liang of Kansui Root with red skin, grind into powder, mix evenly with 2 he of honey. Divide into four doses, each weighing 1 liang. Take one dose per day, swallowed with honey water.
Another Prescription
Take 3 he of Abutilon Semen powder and a handful of fresh Green Bamboo Leaf. Decoct in 1 sheng of water until it boils five times. Take all at once.
Another Prescription
Take 3 he of Abutilon Semen powder. Decoct in 1 sheng of water, strain, and divide into two doses. Take with 2 liang of Pig Fat on an empty stomach.
Another Prescription
Indicated for obstruction of both urination and defecation lasting three to five days. Burn non-boring Gleditsia Sinensis Fruit to ash, mix with rice water, and swallow. It will unblock immediately.
Another Prescription
Take 2 liang of Pig Fat and 1 sheng of water. Boil three times. Drink the juice; it will unblock immediately.
Bazheng San (Eight-Righteousness Powder)
Same indications as above. (See the section on Accumulated Heat.)
Tuiche San (Pushcart Plant Powder)
Indicated for constipation of both urine and stool lasting a month, approaching death.
Pushcart Plant Plantago Asiatica Herba (7 plants) Toad Bufo bufo gargarizans (7 toads. If the patient is male, use the head of the Pushcart Plant and the body of the Toad; if female, use the head of the Toad and the body of the Pushcart Plant)
Roast dry on a new tile, grind into powder. Mix with thick decoction of Rhamnus Pringlei Bark growing towards the south. Take only one dose. It works miraculously.
Another Method: Umbilical Application
Indicated for obstruction of both urination and defecation. Use one stalk of Scallion with roots, uncleaned with soil, one piece of Ginger, 21 grains of Prepared Soybean, and 2 spoons of Salt. Knead into a cake, heat it, and apply it to the umbilicus. Secure tightly with a cloth. After a while, qi will penetrate and unblock naturally. If not, change to another dose.
