If a child accidentally falls or is struck on the head and suffers fright, leading to wind pathogen invading the liver system, the pupils may become misaligned, causing the child to see east when looking west, and west when looking east.

Take Shinan (Nanmu bark) 1 liang, Liliu (Veratrum nigrum rhizome) 3 fen, and Guding (Momordica seed) 5–7 pieces.
Grind into fine powder. Blow a small amount into the nose three times a day. Internally administer herbs that calm the liver, or add Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis).

Take Ruxiang (Frankincense), Moyao (Myrrh), Longgu (Fossilized bones), Chishizhi (Red halloysite), Haipiaoxiao (Cuttlefish bone), Qingfen (Calomel), and Mubiezi (Strychnos nux-vomica seed), each 3 qian.
Grind together into fine powder, place in a silk bag, and sit with the bag daily without washing. After twenty-one days of use, recovery is assured.

Take 1 jin of Chuanjiao (Sichuan pepper), place in a coarse cloth bag, put it on a heated kang (heated brick bed), and apply heat from below. Tread on the bag with bare feet. Since Sichuan pepper is hot and dispersing, combined with the forcing action of the fire's heat.

Take one sheet of Kanglian paper, cut into four strips, roll around a pen tube like a firecracker, or seal the opening firmly with paste. Apply 1 liang of Huangla (Yellow beeswax) externally; pour molten wax around the paper tube using an iron spoon until solidified.

Take one Xiangyuan (Citron), regardless of whether new or old, cut open; take one duck egg, boil until cooked, cut in half, and insert the cut Xiangyuan inside. Wrap each half over the Taiyang acupoint (Temple); it becomes effective upon receiving heat.

Burn Wutou (Aconite root) to ash, mix with equal parts of Shichangpu (Acorus tatarinowii rhizome), grind into powder, wrap in cotton, and insert into the ear. Insert twice daily for efficacy.

Take Duanshi (Iron oxide slag) from the bottom of a ship used for one or two decades, mix with raw Tongyou (Walnut oil or Tung oil), spread onto smooth green cloth according to the size of the sore and apply. Additionally, make a wick from green cloth, dip in Tung oil, and ignite.

Take Gansui (Kansui root), Badou (Croton seed), Ganjiang (Dried ginger), Jiuizi (Allium tuberosum seed), and Binglang (Areca nut) in equal proportions.
