[Original Text] Method 1: Squat, extend the right foot, hold the left knee with both hands, straighten the waist, inhale through the nose, and perform seven breaths to the limit. This eliminates difficulty in bending and stretching or rising from a bowing position, removes pain and Bi syndrome (painful obstruction) in the shank, and treats wind-induced eye disorders and deafness.
[Explanation] See "I. Wind-Stroke Gate" Method 7.
[Original Text] Method 2: Squat, extend the left foot, hold the right knee with both hands, straighten the waist, inhale through the nose, and perform seven breaths to the limit, extending the left foot outward. This eliminates difficulty in bending and stretching or rising from a bowing position, and removes pain in the shank.
Another version states: It removes wind-induced dim vision and deafness.
[Explanation] See "I. Wind-Stroke Gate" Method 9.
[Original Text] Method 3: Inhale through the nose while holding the nose with the left hand. This eliminates dim vision and tearing. Inhale through the nose, close the mouth, and circulate Qi for seven breaths to the limit. This eliminates accumulated blood and Qi under the hypochondrium.
[Explanation] Press the nose with the left hand while inhaling through the nose. This eliminates dim vision and tearing. Close the mouth while inhaling through the nose and circulate Qi vigorously for seven breaths. This eliminates stasis of blood and Qi accumulation in the hypochondriac region.
[Original Text] Method 4: Sit upright, straighten the waist, slowly inhale through the nose, and hold the nose with the right hand. [Explanation] Sit upright, straighten the waist, slowly inhale through the nose, press the nose with the right hand, close the eyes, and exhale through the mouth. This eliminates dim vision and tearing. Nasal polyps and deafness can also be treated with the same method. If treating headache and aversion to cold after Cold Damage, the treatment should aim for sweating.

[Explanation] Squat, lift the five toes of both feet with both hands, bend the head down to the limit, and circulate Qi so that the Qi of the Five Zang Organs reaches the head. This treats inability to hear and dim vision. Long-term practice can turn white hair black.
[Original Text] Method 6: Extend the toes of both feet upward, stop after five breaths. This guides and relieves Bi syndrome of the waist and back, hemiplegia, and makes the ears acute. Long-term practice ensures no hindrance to the eyes, ears, and other sensory organs.
[Explanation] See "I. Wind-Stroke Gate" Method 2.
[Original Text] Method 7: Extend the left lower leg, flex the right knee and press it down, stop after five breaths, to guide Lung Qi. Remove wind-deficiency diseases and make the eyes clear. Following the meridians, guide the Qi of the Lungs to remove wind-deficiency diseases, making the eyes clear and able to see colors at night as well as during the day.
[Explanation] See "XIV. Tonification Gate" Peng Zu Gu Xian Supine Guiding Method.
[Original Text] Method 8: At cockcrow, rub both hands together until warm, then use them to warm the eyes (ironing motion), repeat three times, and then press the eyes with fingers. Divine light appears in both eyes, making them bright and free from disease.

This makes the eyes bright. Rinse the mouth with sweet spring water and wash the eyes to remove pterygium and dirt, making the eyes clear. Internally, use Qi to cleanse the body; in the middle, cleanse the inner eyeballs; externally, use this method to wash away dust and obstacles.
[Explanation] Sit facing east, pause breathing twice to ensure smooth flow, spit saliva onto the middle fingers of both hands fourteen times, then rub the fingers together until warm to wipe the eyes. This makes the eyes bright. Rinse the mouth with saliva and wash the eyes to remove pterygium and discharge, making the eyes fresh and bright. When practice reaches a certain level, internal Qi can be guided upward to cleanse the body and mind, entering the bottom of the eyes to cleanse them internally, and externally using saliva to wash away discharge and pterygium, yielding better results.
[Original Text] Method 10: Lie supine, guide Qi three times, and scratch the vessels beside the neck with hands five times to ensure flow. This makes the eyes bright. Lie supine straight, lower the head and pull upward forcefully three times, and scratch the large vessels beside the neck with both hands five times to ensure flow. Eliminate dim vision. Long-term practice allows the eyes to distinguish colors at night. Persistent practice allows one to see all directions without limit.
[Explanation] Guide Qi three times in a lying position, and scratch the tendons beside the back of the neck five times with hands. This makes the eyes bright. Lie supine straight, lower the head and pull upward forcefully three times. Scratch the large tendons beside the back of the neck five times with both hands. This eliminates dim vision. Long-term practice allows the eyes to distinguish colors at night. Continuous practice allows one to see far away without limit.
[Original Text] Method 11: When waking up at cockcrow, first flex the left hand, take a little salt, and eat it. Rub fingers together and recite the mantra: "Daughter of the Queen Mother of the West, named Yi Yu, bestow upon me eyes, I receive them into my mouth." Then meticulously massage the body. Often at cockcrow, apply saliva mixed with salt to massage both eyes fourteen times to treat blurred vision, restore clarity, see distant objects, and even "see ten thousand li and all directions." Additionally, swallow saliva fourteen times, rub two fingers with saliva (without salt) until warm, and wipe the eyes fourteen times. This method also prevents eye dimness.
[Explanation] Get up when the rooster crows, first flex the left hand, take a small amount of salt, eat it into the mouth, mix with saliva, then rub the salt and saliva between two fingers. Recite the mantra: "The Daughter of the Queen Mother of the West, named Yi Yu, bestow upon me eyes, I receive them into my mouth." Massage both eyes with two fingers. If one often massages both eyes fourteen times with salted saliva at cockcrow, it can treat blurred vision, restore clarity, enable seeing distant objects, and even "see ten thousand li and all directions." Alternatively, one can swallow saliva fourteen times, rub two fingers with saliva without salt until warm, and wipe the eyes fourteen times. This method can also prevent eye dimness.
