病症表现与前述相同。
何首乌（用水浸泡去除粗皮，用竹刀切片，赤白两种各三斤，用黑豆拌和蒸晒九次，制成细末，纯净部分二斤）；仙茅（用竹刀去掉芦头，刮去绒毛，用粳米泔水浸泡去皮，用黑豆拌和蒸晒九次，制成细末，纯净部分二斤）；白茯苓（去皮制成细末，用水飞法去除筋膜，取沉淀物晒干，用粳米铺底，放在上面蒸三次，研磨成细末一斤）；茅山苍术（用米泔水浸泡去除粗皮，切片，用老米拌和蒸晒九次）；牛膝（去掉芦头，用酒浸泡一夜，同何首乌一起蒸三次，制成细末各一斤）。
以上各药研为细末混合均匀，用炼蜜制作成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用一百丸，空腹时用滚开的白开水送服。忌食牛肉、萝卜、葱、蒜。按照此方即是仙茅丸，有人说加入桑椹汁一斤拌入苍术末中尤其奇妙，中年以后服用极有效验。
昔日通真子上奏进献此方，治疗男子五劳七伤、容颜衰老朽败、形体枯槁、性功能减退、精神短少、未满五十岁须发先白、左侧或右侧瘫痪、行走困难；妇人下元虚冷（久不怀孕），屡次经过验证非常灵验。
人参（去掉芦头一两）；天门冬（去掉心一两）；怀山药（用姜汁炒二两）；当归（用酒洗一两）；泽泻（去掉毛一两）；怀生地（二两）；怀熟地（二两）；川巴戟天（去掉心二两）；川牛膝（去掉芦头，用酒浸泡晒干二两）；山茱萸（去掉核一两）；肉苁蓉（用酒洗去掉心膜晒干三两）；菟丝子（用酒洗去掉泥土，仍用酒蒸捣成饼晒干四两）；远志（去掉芦头，用甘草汤泡过去掉心三两）；赤石脂（单独研磨一两）；白茯苓（去皮一两）；川杜仲（去掉粗皮，用姜汁炒至断丝二两）；甘州枸杞子（去掉梗三两）；地骨皮（去掉木质部，洗净去掉泥土纯净二两）；车前子（去掉泥土一两）；石莲肉（去掉眼睛、果梗、闭口者，炒出油净二两）；覆盆子（去掉梗一两）；北五味子（去掉梗一两）。
以上二十五味药符合“五五”之数，共同研为细末，用炼蜜制作成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用三十丸，空腹时上午、下午各一次，用温酒送服。
每日进服三次。服药十日后，小便排出杂色物质，这是旧疾排出的表现；又过十日后，鼻头发酸、言语声音雄壮、胸中疼痛、咳嗽吐脓，但神色形态未衰败，这是肺病排出的表现；一个月后，腹中各种因七情导致的气滞、脾胃劳倦、沉寒痼冷、各种积滞都消退；一百日后，容颜不衰，须发变黑，脱落的牙齿重新生长，年老体弱者也能恢复健康，视力能看清十里之外，力气增加百倍，行走不知疲倦，寿命延长，祛除疾病，多子多孙。邵真人传授并施予此方，我们徽州郡数十人服用，都获得了延年益寿、多子多福的效果，这里不再全部记录。

*Polygoni Multiflori Radix Praeparata* (Soak in water to remove the coarse skin, slice with a bamboo knife; three *jin* of red and white varieties each, stir-fried with black beans, steamed and sun-dried nine times, then ground into powder; purified yield two *jin*). *Curculiginis Rhizoma* (Remove the rhizome head with a bamboo knife, scrape off the hairs, soak in rice bran water to remove the skin, stir-fried with black beans, steamed and sun-dried nine times, then ground into powder; purified yield two *jin*). *Poria* (Remove the skin, grind into powder, use the water-flotation method to remove fibrous roots, take the sediment, dry in the sun; place on a bed of rice grains, steam three times, then grind into fine powder, one *jin*). *Atractylodis Rhizoma* from Maoshan (Soak in rice bran water to remove the coarse skin, slice, stir-fried with old rice, steamed and sun-dried nine times). *Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix* (Remove the rhizome head, soak in wine overnight, steam together with *Polygoni Multiflori Radix Praeparata* three times, grind into powder, one *jin* each).
Grind all the above herbs into fine powder and mix evenly. Form pills using refined honey, sized like paulownia seeds. Take 100 pills per dose, administered orally with boiling plain water on an empty stomach. Avoid beef, radish, green onion, and garlic. This prescription is also known as *Xianmao Wan* (Cinnamon Twig Pill? Note: Context implies Xianmao Pill). It is said that adding one *jin* of mulberry juice mixed with *Atractylodis Rhizoma* powder is particularly effective; it yields excellent results when taken by those past middle age.
In the past, Tongzhenzi memorialized and presented this formula to treat men suffering from five exhaustions and seven injuries, withered appearance, emaciated form, impotence, low spirit, premature graying of hair and beard before age fifty, hemiplegia (left or right), and difficulty walking. For women, it treats deficiency-cold of the lower origin (chronic infertility), having been verified repeatedly with miraculous efficacy.
*Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma* (Remove rhizome head, one *liang*). *Asparagi Radix* (Remove heart, one *liang*). *Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma* (Stir-fry with ginger juice, two *liang*). *Angelicae Sinensis Radix* (Wash with wine, one *liang*). *Alismatis Rhizoma* (Remove hairs, one *liang*). *Rehmanniae Radix Recens* (two *liang*). *Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata* (two *liang*). *Morindae Officinalis Radix* (Remove heart, two *liang*). *Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix* (Remove rhizome head, soak in wine, dry in sun, two *liang*). *Corni Fructus* (Remove pits, one *liang*). *Cynomorii Herba* (Wash with wine, remove heart membrane, dry in sun, three *liang*). *Cuscutae Semen* (Wash with wine to remove dirt, steam with wine, pound into cake, dry in sun, four *liang*). *Polygalae Radix* (Remove rhizome head, soak in licorice decoction, remove heart, three *liang*). *Halloysit Rubra* (Separately ground, one *liang*). *Poria* (Remove skin, one *liang*). *Eucommiae Cortex* (Remove coarse skin, stir-fry with ginger juice until fibers break, two *liang*). *Lycii Fructus* from Ganzhou (Remove stems, three *liang*). *Lycii Cortex Radicis* (Remove wood, wash clean of dirt, two *liang*). *Plantaginis Semen* (Remove dirt, one *liang*). *Nelumbinis Plumula* (Remove eye, stem, closed-mouth ones, stir-fry until oil appears, purified, two *liang*). *Rubae Fructus* (Remove stems, one *liang*). *Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus* (Remove stems, one *liang*).
These twenty-five herbs correspond to the number "five times five." Grind them all into fine powder. Form pills using refined honey, sized like paulownia seeds. Take 30 pills per dose, administered orally with warm wine on an empty stomach, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
Take three doses daily. After ten days of medication, turbid urine will be discharged, indicating the expulsion of old diseases. Ten days later, nasal sourness, robust speech, chest pain, coughing up pus, yet without deterioration of complexion or vitality, indicates the expulsion of lung diseases. After one month, qi stagnation caused by the seven emotions in the abdomen, spleen-stomach fatigue, deep-seated cold, stubborn cold, and various accumulations will recede. After one hundred days, the complexion will remain youthful, hair and beard will turn black, fallen teeth will regrow, the elderly and weak will regain health, vision will extend to ten *li*, strength will increase a hundredfold, walking will be tireless, lifespan will be extended, diseases will be cured, and offspring will multiply. This formula was transmitted and administered by Zhenren Shao. Dozens of people in our Huizhou commandery took it and all achieved the effects of longevity and numerous children. These cases are not recorded in full here.
