三焦原络应刺病，小指次指如废同，目 耳后喉肿痛，自汗肩 内外疼。

心包原络应刺病，面红目赤笑不休，心中动热掌中热，胸腋臂手痛中求。

胆经原络应刺病，口苦胸胁痛不宁，髀膝外踝诸节痛，太息马刀侠瘤瘿。

肝经原络应刺病，头痛颊肿胁疝疼，妇人少腹胞中痛，便难溲淋怒色青。

三焦经的原穴与络穴应当主治的疾病，表现为小指和无名指如同废用一般，眼睛、耳后及咽喉肿痛，自汗，肩部和腋下内外侧疼痛。
【注】三焦经表之原穴为阳池，心包经里之络穴为内关，这两个穴位应主治的病症即：手部小指和无名指废用不能活动，眼部、耳后、咽喉肿痛，自汗，肩部和腋下内外侧疼痛。这些都是三焦经和心包络经的病变。
心包经的原穴与络穴应当主治的疾病，表现为面红目赤、笑个不停，心中悸动发热、手掌心发热，胸部、腋部、手臂和手部疼痛需从中寻求治疗。
【注】心包经里之原穴为大陵，三焦经表之络穴为外关，这两个穴位应主治的病症即：面红目赤，喜欢笑且不止，心中悸动，内热，手心发热，胸部、腋部以及手臂和手部疼痛。这些都是心包络和三焦经的病变。
胆经的原穴与络穴应当主治的疾病，表现为口苦、胸胁部疼痛不安宁，大腿、膝盖、外踝及各关节疼痛，叹息，马刀瘿瘤（淋巴结结核等）。
【注】胆经表之原穴为丘墟，肝经里之络穴为蠡沟，这两个穴位应主治的病症即：口苦，胸部、胁部、大腿、膝盖、外踝及各关节疼痛，叹息，马刀瘿瘤。这些都是胆经和肝经的病变。
肝经的原穴与络穴应当主治的疾病，表现为头痛、脸颊肿胀、胁肋疝气疼痛，妇女少腹及胞宫疼痛，大便困难、小便淋沥，易怒且面色发青。
【注】肝经里之原穴为太冲，胆经表之络穴为光明，这两个穴位应主治的病症即：头痛，脸颊肿胀，胁肋疝气疼痛，妇女少腹及胞宫疼痛，大便难解，小便淋沥，易怒且面色发青。这些都是肝经和胆经的病变。
The diseases indicated by the Yuan-Source and Luo-Connecting points of the Sanjiao (Triple Burner) channel manifest as paralysis or dysfunction of the little and ring fingers, swelling and pain in the eyes, behind the ears, and throat, spontaneous sweating, and pain on the medial and lateral aspects of the shoulder and axilla.
[Note] The Yuan-Source point on the exterior (Sanjiao) is Yangchi (TE4), and the Luo-Connecting point on the interior (Pericardium) is Neiguan (PC6). The conditions indicated by these two points are: dysfunction and inability to use the little and ring fingers; swelling and pain in the eyes, behind the ears, and throat; spontaneous sweating; and pain on the medial and lateral aspects of the shoulder and axilla. These are all disorders of the Sanjiao and Pericardium channels.
The diseases indicated by the Yuan-Source and Luo-Connecting points of the Pericardium channel manifest as a red face and red eyes, incessant laughter, palpitations with internal heat, heat in the palms, and pain in the chest, axilla, arm, and hand, which should be sought for treatment from the middle.
[Note] The Yuan-Source point on the interior (Pericardium) is Daling (PC7), and the Luo-Connecting point on the exterior (Sanjiao) is Waiguan (TE5). The conditions indicated by these two points are: a red face and red eyes, excessive laughter that does not cease, palpitations, internal heat, heat in the palms, and pain in the chest, axilla, arm, and hand. These are all disorders of the Pericardium and Sanjiao channels.
The diseases indicated by the Yuan-Source and Luo-Connecting points of the Gallbladder channel manifest as bitter taste in the mouth, restlessness due to pain in the chest and hypochondrium, pain in the thigh, knee, lateral malleolus, and various joints, sighing, and scrofula-like masses such as "Madao" and "Xiaying" (scrofula and goiter).
[Note] The Yuan-Source point on the exterior (Gallbladder) is Qiuxu (GB40), and the Luo-Connecting point on the interior (Liver) is Ligou (LR5). The conditions indicated by these two points are: bitter taste in the mouth; pain in the chest, hypochondrium, thigh, knee, lateral malleolus, and various joints; sighing; and scrofula-like masses. These are all disorders of the Gallbladder and Liver channels.
The diseases indicated by the Yuan-Source and Luo-Connecting points of the Liver channel manifest as headache, swelling of the cheeks, hernial pain in the hypochondrium, pain in the lower abdomen and uterus in women, difficulty in defecation, dysuria, irritability, and a bluish complexion.
[Note] The Yuan-Source point on the interior (Liver) is Taichong (LR3), and the Luo-Connecting point on the exterior (Gallbladder) is Guangming (GB37). The conditions indicated by these two points are: headache; swelling of the cheeks; hernial pain in the hypochondrium; pain in the lower abdomen and uterus in women; difficulty in defecation; dysuria; irritability; and a bluish complexion. These are all disorders of the Liver and Gallbladder channels.
