Gongsun (SP4) connects with the Chong Mai (Penetrating Vessel), Stomach, Heart, and Chest; Neiguan (PC6) and the Yin Wei Mai (Yin Linking Vessel) are generally connected below. Linqi (GB41) connects with the Gallbladder Meridian and Dai Mai (Girdle Vessel); Yang Wei Mai (Yang Linking Vessel) meets Waiguan (TE5) at the outer canthus of the eye. Houxi (SI3) connects with the Du Mai (Governor Vessel) and the neck/throat; Shenmai (BL62) also communicates through the Luo-connecting vessels of the Yang Qiao Mai (Yang Heel Vessel). Lieque (LU7) connects with the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel) and the Lung system; Zhaohai (KI6) corresponds to the Yin Qiao Mai (Yin Heel Vessel) in the diaphragm and throat.
[Note] Gongsun (SP4) and Neiguan (PC6): Gongsun is an acupoint of the Foot-Taiyin Spleen Meridian, connecting to the Chong Mai (Penetrating Vessel); Neiguan is an acupoint of the Hand-Jueyin Pericardium Meridian. These four points (pairing left/right) connect to the Yin Wei Mai (Yin Linking Vessel). The area where these four meridians converge and circulate is between the Stomach and the Heart/Chest; therefore, they treat diseases of the Stomach and Heart/Chest.
