(Jinkui Shenqi Wan, Kidney Qi Pill from the Golden Cabinet)效果显著。
(Jiedu Xiapi Tang, Detoxifying and Spleen-Draining Decoction)
[Prescription Verse] Tianluo Pao (Snail Blister) arises on the sole of the foot, formed by the steaming and stagnation of internal dampness and external cold. The symptoms present as yellow blisters the size of a bean, accompanied by a stifling sensation, hardness, and upon rupture, foul-smelling fluid that causes edema, rotting of the skin, and pain.
[Commentary] This condition mostly occurs on the soles of the feet, rarely on the palms. It is caused by damp-heat pouring downward from the Spleen Meridian, combined with external cold blocking the pores; or it results from wading in water while the body is hot, where damp-cold qi steams and stagnates. Initially, it appears like a bean-sized yellow blister, feeling stifled and swollen, hard and painful, making it difficult to walk on the ground. If several blisters grow together, their thick skin makes self-rupture difficult; spreading into patches of three to five, they become wet and rotten. In severe cases, the dorsum of the foot swells, and there are alternating chills and fever. The treatment method should involve boiling Kushen (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix), Changpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), and Yeai (Artemisiae Argyi Herba) for hot washing. Subsequently, use a thread needle to puncture the blisters to drain the foul fluid, then apply Jiawei Taiyi Gao (Modified Taiyi Plaster). After trimming off the blister skin, sprinkle a powder made of equal parts Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) and Qingfen (Calamina) onto the lesion, and cover it again with Jiawei Taiyi Gao. Internally, administer Jiedu Xiapi Tang (Detoxifying and Spleen-Draining Decoction). For those who do not heal for years, it is due to damp-cold in the lower part of the body; regularly taking Jin Kui Shen Qi Wan (Kidney Qi Pill from the Golden Cabinet) is very effective.
Formula: Jiedu Xiapi Tang (Detoxifying and Spleen-Draining Decoction)
Ingredients: Shigao (calcined Gypsum Fibrosum), Niubangzi (fried and ground Arctii Fructus), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Cangzhu (fried Atractylodis Rhizoma), Gancao (raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis), Shanzhi (raw and ground Gardeniae Fructus).
Preparation: Use two zhong (approx. 400 ml) of water and twenty roots of Dengxincao (Junci Medullae), decoct until reduced to eight fen (approx. 160 ml), and take orally.
[Prescription Verse] Jiedu Xiapi Tang contains Huangqin and Niubangzi, along with Fangfeng, Shigao, Gancao, Cangzhu, Mutong, and Shanzhi. When Tianluo Pao arises, it is suitable to decoct and take this prescription, which clears heat, disperses wind, and removes dampness.

Jin Kui Shen Qi Wan (i.e., Guifu Dihuang Wan plus Cheqianzi and Nixi, each one liang. See Facial Malar Ulcer section)
[Prescription Verse] Roci (Corn/Callus) arises from foot-binding or walking long distances in narrow shoes. Walking is difficult and pain is severe; applying crushed Yuzan Gen (Tricyrtis Rhizome) externally is effective.
[Commentary] This condition occurs on the toes, resembling a corn, hence commonly known as "chicken eye." The root sinks deep into the flesh, while the top protrudes hard, causing pain that prevents walking. It can be caused by foot-binding or walking long distances in narrow shoes. The treatment method should involve applying Jiawei Taiyi Gao to moisten the area, or using crushed Ziyuzizan Huagen (Purple Tricyrtis Flower Root) applied externally, covered with oiled paper. Alternatively, grinding Gudupi (Phellodendri Cortex) and Honghua (Carthami Flos) in equal parts and mixing them with sesame oil for application is also effective.
