The *Ge Shi Fang* (Formula from Master Ge) treats the condition where, after a toxic disease, residual toxins attack the eyes:
Boil honeycombs to wash the eyes, six or seven times a day. (Note: The *Guang Li Fang* states: half a liang of bee combs, two large sheng of water. Additionally, the *Seng Shen Fang* is used for treating corneal opacity.)
Another formula: Soak a blue cloth in cold water and cover the eyes with it. (The *Ji Yan Fang* is used for treating corneal opacity.)
It also says: If corneal opacity has formed, burn fourteen beans (douchi), grind them into powder, place them in a tube, and blow the powder into the eye. (The *Ji Yan Fang* agrees with this.)
The *Qipo Fang* (Formula from Qibo) treats yellowing of the eyes after a warm disease:
Take three handfuls of Ophiopogon leaf (Mendong Ye), boil in one sheng of water until reduced to three sheng, remove the dregs, and drink small amounts frequently; the illness will heal spontaneously.
The *Ji Yao Fang* treats conditions following various diseases such as Shanghan (Cold Damage), Wendu (Warm Toxin), Rebing (Heat Disease), Shixing (Seasonal Epidemic), and Yiqi (Epidemic Qi), where toxins fill the eyes, causing red vessels, red membranes, and white skin (epibulbar lesions):
Qinpi (Cortex Fraxini, two liang) Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae, two liang) Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis, two liang)
