益气以安心神，辟除不祥之邪。明目祛风，兼助顺产。更适宜治疗时行疫病及惊狂之证。犀角性味苦寒，能解诸毒。驱散风邪，明目，平抑肝阳。
并清除心经热盛所致之狂言乱语。又治疗时行疫病，辟除鬼邪之气。虎骨主要祛除邪恶之气。治疗伤寒湿邪尤为良效。更攻治风毒引起的拘挛疼痛。

Mylabris (Banmao) mainly treats carbuncles and ulcers with discharge.
It induces abortion, promotes urination, and breaks blood stasis. When used as medicine, one must know it should be stir-fried until cooked. Vomiting and diarrhea are caused only by raw usage. Pearl (Zhenzhu) is moistening and nourishing, calming the mind and will. Applied to the face, it improves complexion.
Powder applied to the eyes grinds away corneal opacities. Wrapped in cotton and inserted into the ear, it removes deafness. Turtle Shell (Biejia) treats metrorrhagia and still treats malaria.
