主逆气，心烦满，呕吐气方。

上四味， 咀。以水一升，煮取三升，分三服，日三服。若少气，加甘草二两，一名小
茯苓汤。
疗热骨蒸羸瘦，烦闷短气，喘息，两鼻孔张，日西即发方。

疗积年久患热风方

上九味， 咀。以水六升，煮药减一升，纳蜜、姜汁煮两沸，一服三合，日再大验。
又方∶
羚羊角（五两，屑） 生葛 栀子（各六两） 豉（一升，绵裹） 黄芩 干姜 芍药

生地黄煎主热方
生地黄汁（四升） 生地骨皮 生天门冬（去心） 生麦门冬汁 白蜜（各一升） 竹

治膈上热方∶

上四味，捣三味为散，纳地黄，合捣曝干，捣筛为散，酒服方寸匕，日三，候食了服之
。久服补益明目。
治腹中虚热，舌本强直，颈两边痛，舌上有疮，不得咽食方。

头痛身热及热风方

上九味， 咀。以水一斗，煮取四升，分四服，日三夜一，以瘥为度。
治膈上热方
苦参（十两） 玄参（三两） 麦门冬（去心） 车前子（各三两）
上四味，捣筛为末，炼蜜和丸如梧子。以饮服十五丸，日二，食后服。
主治气机郁结于胸中，热邪位于胃脘部，导致饮食后呕吐逆气的方剂。
前胡、栀子（炙）、桂心、寒水石、大黄、知母、甘草（炙，各一两）、硝石、石膏、栝楼（各二两）。
以上十味药，捣碎并过筛制成散剂。用水二升，煮取五方寸匕的药量，煎至一升五合，分两次服用。
主治气机上逆，心烦意乱且胸满，伴有呕吐的方剂。

以上四味药，切碎。用水一升，煎取三升，分三次服用，每日三次。如果患者少气（元气不足），加入甘草二两，此方又名小茯苓汤。
治疗骨蒸潮热、身体消瘦羸弱、烦闷短气、喘息、两侧鼻孔张开，且在傍晚时分发作的方剂。
龙胆、黄连、栝楼（各一两）、栀子（二十枚）、青葙子、苦参、大黄、黄芩、芍药、芒硝（各半两）。
以上十味药，捣碎并过筛制成细末，用炼蜜调和做成丸药，大小如梧桐子。用温水送服十丸，每日两次，以见效为度。
治疗积年久患的热风病方。
地骨皮、葳蕤（玉竹）、丹参、黄芪、泽泻、麦门冬（各三两，去心）、清蜜、姜汁（各一合）、生地黄汁（二升）。
以上九味药，切碎。用水六升，煎煮至减少一升，加入蜂蜜和姜汁再煮沸两次，每次服用三合，每日两次，疗效显著。
又一方：
羚羊角（五两，锉成屑）、生葛根、栀子（各六两）、豆豉（一升，用绵布包裹）、黄芩、干姜、芍药（各三两）、鼠尾草（二两）。
以上八味药，切碎。用水七升，煎取二升半，分三次服用。
又一方：
枳实（三两，炙）、黄连（二两）、黄芩、芒硝（各三两）。
以上四味药，捣碎并过筛制成细末，用炼蜜调和做成丸药，大小如梧桐子。用温水送服三十丸，每日三次，逐渐增加至四十丸。
生地黄煎主治热证方。
生地黄汁（四升）、生地骨皮、生天门冬（去心）、生麦门冬汁、白蜜（各一升）、竹叶（切，四两）。
以上十二味药，切碎。用水一斗二升，先煎煮药物取三升，滤去药渣，加入生地黄汁和麦门冬汁，用微火煎煮五次沸腾，随后加入蜂蜜和姜汁继续煎取六升，每次服用四合，每日两次夜间一次，逐渐增加至五六合。
治疗膈上热证方：
茯苓、麦门冬（去心）、甘草（各一斤，炙）、生地黄（六十斤，切片）。
以上四味药，将前三味捣碎制成散剂，加入生地黄，混合捣烂并晒干，再捣碎过筛制成散剂。用酒送服一方寸匕，每日三次，饭后服用。长期服用可补益身体、明目。
治疗腹中虚热，舌根强直，颈部两侧疼痛，舌上有疮疡，无法吞咽食物的方剂。
柴胡、升麻、栀子仁、芍药、通草（各四两）、黄芩、大青、杏仁（各三两）、生姜（切片）、石膏（各八两，捣碎）。
以上十味药，切碎。用水一斗二升，煎取六升，分六次服用。
治疗头痛、身热及热风病的方剂。
竹沥、升麻（各三升）、防风、生姜（切片）、杏仁（去皮尖及双仁，各三两）、芍药、柴胡（各四两）、石膏（捣碎）、生葛根（各八两）。
以上九味药，切碎。用水一斗，煎取四升，分四次服用，每日三次夜间一次，以病愈为度。
治疗膈上热证方。
苦参（十两）、玄参（三两）、麦门冬（去心）、车前子（各三两）。
以上四味药，捣碎并过筛制成细末，用炼蜜调和做成如梧桐子大小的丸药。用温水送服十五丸，每日两次，饭后服用。
The formula for treating Qi stagnation in the chest, heat in the epigastrium (stomach region), and vomiting/retching after eating.
Peucedani Radix (Qianhu), Gardeniae Fructus (Zhizi, roasted), Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin), Halitum (Hanshuishi), Rheae Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (Zhimu), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, roasted, each 1 liang), Natrii Nitras (Xiaoshi), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao), Trichosanthis Fructus (Gualou, each 2 liang).
Crush and sieve the above ten ingredients into a powder. Decoct five fangcunbi (a measure of volume) of the powder in two sheng of water, reduce to one sheng and five he, and divide into two doses.
The formula for treating rebellious Qi, irritability, fullness, and vomiting.
Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum (Banxia, washed), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang, each 1 jin, sliced), Poria (Fuling), Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin, each 5 liang).
Chop the above four ingredients. Decoct in one sheng of water, obtain three sheng, and divide into three doses, taken three times daily. If there is shortness of Qi (deficiency of Yuan Qi), add two liang of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao); this formula is also known as Xiao Fuling Tang (Minor Poria Decoction).
The formula for treating bone-steaming fever, emaciation, irritability, shortness of Qi, panting, flaring of the nostrils, with onset in the late afternoon.
Gentianae Radix (Longdan), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Trichosanthis Fructus (Gualou, each 1 liang), Gardeniae Fructus (Zhizi, 20 pieces), Celosiae Semen (Qingxiangzi), Sophorae Radix (Kushen), Rheae Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Shaoyao), Natrii Sulfas (Mangxiao, each half liang).
Crush and sieve the above ten ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with refined honey to make pills the size of wutong seeds. Take ten pills with warm water, twice daily, until effective.
The formula for treating chronic wind-heat disease.
Cortex Lycii (Digupi), Polygonati Rhioma (Weirui), Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Danshen), Astragali Radix (Huangqi), Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie), Ophiopogonis Tuber (Mendong, each 3 liang, heart removed), Clear Honey (Qingmi), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens Juice (Jiangzhi, each 1 he), Rehmanniae Radix Recens Juice (Shengdihuangzhi, 2 sheng).
Chop the above nine ingredients. Decoct in six sheng of water, reduce by one sheng, add honey and ginger juice, boil twice more. Take three he per dose, twice daily; it is highly effective.
Another formula:
Saiga Tatarica Cornu (Lingyangjiao, 5 liang, shaved), Puerariae Radix (Shengge), Gardeniae Fructus (Zhizi, each 6 liang), Sojae Seminis Preparatum (Chi, 1 sheng, wrapped in silk), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), Zingiberis Rhizoma (Ganjiang), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Shaoyao, each 3 liang), Salviae Miltiorrhizae Herba (Shuweicao, 2 liang).
Chop the above eight ingredients. Decoct in seven sheng of water, obtain two sheng and half, and divide into three doses.
Another formula:
Immature Tangerine Peel (Zhishi, 3 liang, roasted), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 2 liang), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), Natrii Sulfas (Mangxiao, each 3 liang).
Crush and sieve the above four ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with refined honey to make pills the size of wutong seeds. Take thirty pills with warm water, three times daily, gradually increasing to forty pills.
Sheng Dihuang Jian (Raw Rehmannia Decoction) for treating heat syndromes.
Rehmanniae Radix Recens Juice (Shengdihuangzhi, 4 sheng), Cortex Lycii (Shengdigupi), Asparagi Tuber (Shengtianmendong, heart removed), Ophiopogonis Tuber Juice (Shengmendongzhi), White Honey (Baimi, each 1 sheng), Bambusae Folium (Zhuye, sliced, 4 liang).
Chop the above twelve ingredients. Decoct in twelve sheng of water, first decoct the herbs to obtain three sheng, strain off the dregs, add Rehmanniae Radix Recens Juice and Ophiopogonis Tuber Juice, simmer over low heat for five boils, then add honey and ginger juice and continue decocting to obtain six sheng. Take four he per dose, twice daily and once at night, gradually increasing to five or six he.
Formula for treating heat above the diaphragm:
Poria (Fuling), Ophiopogonis Tuber (Mendong, heart removed), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, each 1 jin, roasted), Rehmanniae Radix (Shengdihuang, 60 jin, sliced).
Crush the first three ingredients into a powder, mix with Rehmanniae Radix, pound together, dry in the sun, crush and sieve into a powder. Take one fangcunbi with wine, three times daily, after meals. Long-term use nourishes the body and brightens the eyes.
Formula for treating deficiency-heat in the abdomen, stiffness of the tongue root, pain on both sides of the neck, sores on the tongue, and inability to swallow food.
Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma), Gardeniae Semen (Zhiziren), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Shaoyao), Tetslei Caulis (Tongcao, each 4 liang), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), Isatidis Folium (Daqing), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren, each 3 liang), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang, sliced), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao, each 8 liang, crushed).
Chop the above ten ingredients. Decoct in twelve sheng of water, obtain six sheng, and divide into six doses.
Formula for treating headache, fever, and wind-heat.
Bambusae Succus (Zhuli), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma, each 3 sheng), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang, sliced), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren, skin and tip removed, non-double kernels, 3 liang), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Shaoyao), Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu, each 4 liang), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao, crushed), Puerariae Radix (Shengge, each 8 liang).
Chop the above nine ingredients. Decoct in ten sheng of water, obtain four sheng, and divide into four doses, three times daily and once at night, until recovered.
Formula for treating heat above the diaphragm:
Sophorae Radix (Kushen, 10 liang), Scrophulariae Radix (Xuanshen, 3 liang), Ophiopogonis Tuber (Mendong, heart removed), Plantaginis Semen (Cheqianzi, each 3 liang).
Crush and sieve the above four ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with refined honey to make pills the size of wutong seeds. Take fifteen pills with warm water, twice daily, after meals.
