（某药材）味道辛，性温，无毒。主治消化谷物，逐除水饮，消除痰癖，杀灭三虫及伏尸虫，治疗寸白虫（绦虫）。生长在南海地区。

（某药材）味道酸，性微寒，无毒。主治妇人产褥期疾病，产后余疾，崩中漏下，症瘕积聚，血闭，寒热往来，形体消瘦羸弱，安养胎元。
(Baiqian / Qinpi) Taste is bitter, nature is slightly cold to very cold, non-toxic. It primarily treats wind-cold-dampness bi-syndrome (painful obstruction caused by wind, cold, and dampness), expels chilling cold from the exterior, clears heat from the middle jiao, and treats green nebula and white membrane in the eyes. It treats spermatorrhea, leukorrhea in women, infantile epilepsy, and fever. It can be decocted into a wash for the eyes. Long-term consumption prevents graying of hair, lightens the body, makes skin lustrous and supple, promotes fertility, and aids conception. Also known as Cenpi or Shitan. Grows in valleys of Lujiang and Yuanju; bark is harvested in February and August and dried in shade.
(Mudan / Yuetao fruit) Taste is bitter, nature is cold to very cold, non-toxic. It primarily treats pathogenic qi in the five zang organs, hot qi in the stomach, facial erythema, rhinophyma (rosacea), and sores such as vitiligo and erysipelas. It treats red, hot, and painful eyes, and excessive heat in the chest, heart, large intestine, and small intestine. It relieves mental restlessness and gastric heat. Also known as Mudan or Yuetao. Grows in valleys of Nanyang; fruits are harvested in September and sun-dried.
(Some herb) Taste is acrid, nature is warm, non-toxic. It primarily aids digestion of grains, drives out water retention, eliminates phlegm-stagnation, kills three types of parasites and latent corpse-worms, and treats Taenia solium (tapeworm). Grows in the South Sea region.
(Some herb) Taste is sweet, nature is neutral, non-toxic. It primarily calms the five zang organs, benefits the mind/spirit, brings joy and freedom from worry. Long-term consumption lightens the body, improves vision, fulfills desires, and promotes health. Grows in valleys of Yizhou.

Grows in deep mountain valleys, on Mount Qinling, or in Langya; fruits are harvested in August and September.
(Guijian / Eucommia ulmoides branch with wings) Taste is bitter, nature is cold, non-toxic. It primarily treats metrorrhagia and metrostaxis in women, abdominal fullness, sweating, expels pathogenic factors, kills ghost-poison, gu-poison, and infectious diseases, treats acute abdominal pain due to evil invasion, removes Ascaris lumbricoides (roundworm), reduces skin swelling due to wind-toxin, and soothes the genital area. Also known as Guijian. Grows in valleys of Huoshan; harvested in August and dried in shade.
