主鼻中息肉梁起方∶
羊肺（一具，干之） 白术（四两） 苁蓉（二两） 通草（二两） 干姜（二两） 芎

上六味，为散。食后以粥汁服五分匕，日二服，加至方寸匕。
论曰∶凡人往往有鼻中肉塞，眠食皆不快利，得鼻中出息，而俗方亦众，而用之皆无成
效。惟见《本草》云∶雄黄主鼻中息肉，此言不虚。但时人不知用雄黄之法。医者生用，故
致困毙。曾有一人患鼻不得喘息。余以成炼雄黄，日纳一大枣许大，过十日，肉塞自出，当
时即得喘息，更不重发。其炼雄黄法，在仙丹方中具有之，宜寻求也，斯有神验。
论二首 方十七首
凡口疮忌食咸腻及热面干枣等，宜纯食甜粥，勿食盐菜，三日即瘥。
凡口中面上生息肉转大，以刀决溃去脓，愈。
治积年口疮不瘥，蔷薇汤方∶
蔷薇根（一升）
上一味，以水七升，煮取三升，去滓，含之。久久极即吐之，定更含，少少入咽亦佳，
夜未睡以前亦含之，三日不瘥，更令含之。瘥为度，验秘不传也。
治口中疮，身体有热气痱瘰，蔷薇丸方∶
蔷薇根（一两） 黄芩（一两） 鼠李根（一两） 当归（一两） 葛根（一两） 白
蔹（一两）
栝蒌根（二两） 石龙芮（一两） 黄柏（一两） 黄 （一两） 芍药（一两） 续断（一

上十三味，末之，炼蜜和服如梧子，十丸。日三服。（《千金》无黄连。）
治热病口烂咽喉生疮水浆不得入膏方∶
当归（一两） 射干（一两） 升麻（一两） 附子（半两，炮，去皮） 白蜜（四两）
上五味，切，以猪膏四两，先煎之令成膏，下着地，勿令大热，纳诸药，微火煎，令附
子色黄。药成，绞去滓，纳蜜，复火上令相得，盛器中令凝，取如杏子大含之。日四五，辄
咽之。瘥。
治口中疮、咽喉塞不利、口燥膏方∶
猪膏（一斤） 白蜜（一斤） 黄连（一两，切）
上三味，合煎，去滓，令相得，含如半刺，日四五，夜二。
治口吻生白疮，名曰燕口方∶
取新炊甑下饮讫，以口两吻衔甑唇，乘热柱两口吻二七下，瘥。
口旁恶疮方∶
乱发灰 故絮灰 黄连末 干姜末（各等分）
上四味，合和为散，以粉疮上，不过三度。
治口臭方∶
浓煮细辛含汁，久乃吐却，三日当愈。
又方∶井花水三升，漱口吐厕中。
又方∶
橘皮（五分） 木兰皮（一两） 桂心（三分） 大枣（四十枚，蒸之，去皮）
上四味，末之，以枣肉丸如梧子，服二十丸，日二服，稍稍至三十丸。（一方有芎十八
铢）。
又方∶
桂心 甘草（炙，等分）
上二味，细末，三指撮酒服二十日，香。
又方∶
蜀椒（汗） 桂心（各一两）
上二味，服如前方。
治口干方∶
猪脂若羊脂如鸡子大，擘之，苦酒半升中渍一宿，绞取汁含之。
又方∶
石膏（五合，碎） 蜜（二升）
上二味，以水三升煮石膏取二升，纳蜜煮取一升，去滓，含如枣核大，咽汁尽即含之。
又方∶含一片梨即愈，夜睡当时即定。
又方∶
羊脂（鸡子大） 酒（半升） 大枣（七枚）
上三味，合渍七日，取枣食之，瘥。
又方∶禁夜勿食酸食及热面。
治口卒噤不开方∶
捣附子末，纳管中，开口吹口中，良。
【羊肺散方】主治鼻中息肉隆起之症：
羊肺（一副，晾干） 白术（四两） 肉苁蓉（二两） 通草（二两） 干姜（二两） 川芎（二两）
以上六味药，研为散剂。饭后用米汤送服五分匕大小的药量，每日两次，可逐渐增加至一方寸匕大小。
论述说：一般人常有鼻中长出肉块堵塞鼻孔，睡眠和饮食都不畅快便利，呼吸不畅，民间偏方众多，但使用都无成效。只见《本草》记载：雄黄主治鼻中息肉，此言不虚。只是时人不知道使用雄黄的方法。医生直接用生雄黄，导致病人痛苦甚至死亡。曾有一人患鼻病不能喘息。我用经过炮制的雄黄，每天纳入如大枣许大的一块，过了十天，息肉自然脱落排出，当时即刻能够喘息，且不再复发。其炼制雄黄的方法，在仙丹方中已有记载，应当寻求参考，这有神奇的疗效。
【论二首 方十七首】
凡是口疮患者忌食咸腻及热面、干枣等食物，宜纯吃甜粥，不要食盐菜，三天即可痊愈。
凡是口中或面部生出息肉并逐渐变大，用刀切开排脓去除，即可痊愈。
以上一味药，用水七升，煮取三升，去渣，含漱于口中。久含后吐出，反复含漱，少量咽下也可以，睡前也含漱，若三天未愈，继续含漱。以痊愈为止，验方秘而不传。
治疗口中疮，身体有热气痱瘰（皮肤红肿瘙痒），蔷薇丸方：
蔷薇根（一两） 黄芩（一两） 鼠李根（一两） 当归（一两） 葛根（一两） 白蔹（一两）
栝蒌根（二两） 石龙芮（一两） 黄柏（一两） 黄芪（一两） 芍药（一两） 续断（一两） 黄连（一两）
以上十三味药，研为末，炼蜜调和制成梧桐子大小的丸药，每次十丸，每日三次服用。（《千金要方》中无黄连。）
治疗热病导致口腔糜烂、咽喉生疮、水浆不得入的膏方：
当归（一两） 射干（一两） 升麻（一两） 附子（半两，炮制，去皮） 白蜜（四两）
以上五味药，切碎，用猪脂四两，先煎至成膏状，离火稍凉，加入诸药，微火煎，使附子变黄色。药成后，绞去药渣，加入蜂蜜，再上火熬至融合，盛放在容器中使其凝固，取如杏子大小的含服。每日四五次，每次咽下。痊愈。
治疗口中疮、咽喉堵塞不利、口燥的膏方：
猪脂（一斤） 白蜜（一斤） 黄连（一两，切碎）
以上三味药，合煎，去渣，使其融合，含于口中如半刺长度，每日四次，夜间两次。
治疗口角生白疮，名为燕口疮的方子：
取新蒸饭甑底下凝结的水汽液，用嘴含住甑唇，趁热在两口角处按压十四次，即可痊愈。
以上四味药，混合研为散剂，撒敷在疮上，不超过三次。
治疗口臭方：
浓煮细辛，含汁液，久后吐出，三天应当痊愈。
又方：井花水三升，漱口后吐在厕所中。
又方：
橘皮（五分） 木兰皮（一两） 桂心（三分） 大枣（四十枚，蒸熟，去皮）
以上四味药，研为末，用枣肉调和制成梧桐子大小的丸药，每次服二十丸，每日两次，逐渐增加至三十丸。（一方中有川芎十八铢）。
又方：
桂心 甘草（炙，等分）
以上两味药，研为细末，每次用三指撮的量，酒送服，二十日后口气变香。
又方：
蜀椒（出汗处理） 桂心（各一两）
以上两味药，服用方法同前方。
治疗口干方：
猪脂或羊脂如鸡蛋大，掰开，在醋半升中浸泡一夜，绞取汁液含漱。
又方：
石膏（五合，捣碎） 蜜（二升）
以上两味药，用水三升煮石膏取二升，加入蜂蜜煮取一升，去渣，含如枣核大小，咽尽汁液后再含。
又方：含一片梨即愈，夜间睡觉时立即见效。
又方：
羊脂（鸡蛋大） 酒（半升） 大枣（七枚）
以上三味药，合浸七日，吃枣肉，痊愈。
又方：禁止夜间食用酸食及热面。
[Sheep Lung Powder Formula] Mainly treats nasal polyps protruding:
Ovis aries L. lung (one whole, dried) Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (4 liang) Cynomorii Herba (2 liang) Tetsii Caulis (2 liang) Zingiberis Radix Preparata (2 liang) Chuanxiong Rhizoma (2 liang)
The above six herbs are ground into powder. After meals, take the amount of a "fen" (approx. 1-2g) spoonful with rice broth, twice daily. The dosage may be gradually increased to a "fangcun bi" (approx. 3-5g).
Discussion: It is common for people to have fleshy growths blocking the nose, causing discomfort in sleep and eating, and difficulty breathing. Although there are many folk prescriptions, none have been effective. The *Bencao* records that Realgar (Xionghuang) treats nasal polyps, which is true. However, contemporaries do not know how to use Realgar properly. Physicians using raw Realgar often cause severe distress or death. I once treated a patient suffering from nasal obstruction preventing breathing. I used calcined Realgar, inserting a piece the size of a large date daily. After ten days, the polyp naturally expelled, and immediate relief of breathing was achieved without recurrence. The method for calcining Realgar is detailed in the formulas for Immortal Elixirs; one should seek it out, as it yields miraculous results.
[Two Discussions, Seventeen Formulas]
For all cases of mouth ulcers, avoid salty, greasy foods, hot noodles, and dried dates. One should consume only sweet porridge and avoid salted vegetables. Recovery occurs within three days.
If polyps grow in the mouth or face and enlarge, incise them with a knife to drain pus, and they will heal.
Rose Soup Formula for treating chronic mouth ulcers that do not heal:
Rosae Rugosae Radix (1 sheng)
Take the single herb, boil in 7 sheng of water until reduced to 3 sheng. Strain and hold in the mouth. Swish for a long time and spit out. Repeat holding. Swallowing small amounts is also acceptable. Hold before sleeping at night. If not healed after three days, continue holding. Continue until healed. This verified formula is kept secret.
Rose Pill Formula for treating mouth ulcers accompanied by body heat, skin eruptions, and boils:
Rosae Rugosae Radix (1 liang) Scutellariae Radix (1 liang) Rhamni Radix (1 liang) Angelicae Sinensis Radix (1 liang) Puerariae Radix (1 liang) Ampelopsis Radix (1 liang) Trichosanthis Radix (2 liang) Ranuncelli Ternati Radix (1 liang) Phellodendri Cortex (1 liang) Astragali Radix (1 liang) Paeoniae Radix Alba (1 liang) Dipsaci Radix (1 liang) Coptidis Rhizoma (1 liang)
The above thirteen herbs are powdered, mixed with refined honey, and formed into pills the size of mulberry seeds. Take 10 pills, three times daily. (Note: *Qianjin Yaofang* does not include Coptidis Rhizoma.)
Paste Formula for treating mouth erosion and throat ulcers caused by heat diseases, where fluids cannot enter:
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (1 liang) Belamcandae Rhizoma (1 liang) Cimicifugae Rhizoma (1 liang) Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (0.5 liang, processed, peeled) Apis Mellifica (4 liang)
Chop the five herbs. First, melt 4 liang of Porcine Adipose in the herbs over heat until it becomes a paste. Remove from direct high heat to cool slightly, then add the chopped herbs. Simmer gently until the Aconite turns yellow. Strain out the dregs, add the honey, and heat again until well combined. Pour into a container to solidify. Take a piece the size of an apricot kernel and hold in the mouth. Swallow four to five times daily. Heals.
Paste Formula for treating mouth ulcers, throat blockage/discomfort, and dry mouth:
Porcine Adipose (1 jin) Apis Mellifica (1 jin) Coptidis Rhizoma (1 liang, chopped)
Boil the three ingredients together, strain, and combine. Hold in the mouth like a half-inch stick. Use four times daily and twice at night.
Formula for white sores on the corners of the mouth, known as "Swallow Mouth":
Collect the condensation liquid from under the lid of a newly steamed rice cooker. Hold the rim of the steamer with the corners of the mouth while it is still hot. Press against both corners of the mouth fourteen times. Heals.
Formula for malignant sores on the sides of the mouth:
Ash of tangled hair Ash of old cotton wadding Powder of Coptidis Rhizoma Powder of Zingiberis Radix Preparata (equal parts)
Mix the four ingredients into a powder. Apply to the sore. Do not exceed three applications.
Formula for bad breath:
Concentrated decoction of Asari Radix et Rhizoma. Hold the juice in the mouth, keep for a long time, then spit out. Should heal in three days.
Another formula: Rinse mouth with 3 sheng of spring water from a well, then spit into the toilet.
Another formula:
Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (0.5 fen) Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (1 liang) Cinnamomi Ramulus (0.3 fen) Jujubae Fructus (40 pieces, steamed, peeled)
Powder the four ingredients. Mix with jujube flesh to form pills the size of mulberry seeds. Take 20 pills, twice daily. Gradually increase to 30 pills. (One variant includes 18 zhu of Chuanxiong Rhizoma.)
Another formula:
Cinnamomi Ramulus Licorice Root (Zhi Gan Cao, equal parts)
Grind finely. Take a pinch (three fingers' width) with wine. After twenty days, breath becomes fragrant.
Another formula:
Sichuan Pepper (processed to remove moisture) Cinnamomi Ramulus (each 1 liang)
Take as directed in the previous formula.
Formula for dry mouth:
Porcine Fat or Ovine Fat, size of a chicken egg. Break open and soak in half a sheng of vinegar overnight. Squeeze out the juice and hold in the mouth.
Another formula:
Gypsum Fibrosum (5 he, crushed) Honey (2 sheng)
Boil Gypsum Fibrosum in 3 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng. Add honey and boil until reduced to 1 sheng. Strain. Hold a piece the size of a date pit in the mouth. Swallow the juice, then hold another.
Another formula: Hold a slice of pear in the mouth to heal. Immediate relief during sleep.
Another formula:
Ovine Fat (size of chicken egg) Wine (0.5 sheng) Jujubae Fructus (7 pieces)
Soak the three ingredients together for seven days. Eat the jujubes. Heals.
Another formula: Prohibit consumption of sour foods and hot noodles at night.
Formula for sudden trismus (lockjaw):
Grind Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata into powder. Place in a tube. Open the mouth and blow the powder inside. Effective.
