五月五日虾蟆（烧作灰） 石黛 甘皮 细辛 白鸡屎 麝香 干姜 薰黄
上八味各等分，以薄绵裹少许，纳虫齿孔中。日三易之，瘥。或用∶
白附子 知母各一分 细辛五分 芎 三分 高良姜二分
上五味末之，以绵裹少许，着龋上，勿咽汁。日二、三次，亦效。
白矾（烧） 熊胆各一分 蟾酥 雄黄 麝香各半分
上为散，每用半钱 敷牙根。
蜀椒二十粒 枳根皮 莽草 细辛 菖蒲 牛膝各二两
上六味，以水四升煮取二升，去滓细细含之，以瘥为度。未瘥更作，取瘥。又单煮独活
一味，含之良。
芎 当归各三两 独活 细辛 白芷各四两
上以水五升，煮取二升，去滓含，日三、五度，取瘥。
郁李根白皮四两 细辛一两 盐一合
上以水四升，煮取二升半，去滓，纳盐含之，取瘥。
芎 薏苡根各三两 防风二两 细辛一两
上以水六升，煮取二升，去滓含漱，日三、五度。
羊肾脂 泔淀各二合 牛粪（绞取汁）一合 甘草半两（生用末之） 青黛 薰黄各半
两（末之）
上六味相和，铜器中微火，煎五六沸，取东引桃枝如箸大六枝，以绵缠头，点取药，更
互热，烙断龈际。隔日又烙之，不两三日，看好肉生，以瘥乃止。欲烙时，净刮齿牙根上，
然后为之。不尔肉不生。十余日，忌生冷、醋、酒、肉、陈臭，一年禁油。
五月五日捕捉的蛤蟆（烧成灰）、石黛、甘草皮、细辛、白鸡屎、麝香、干姜、薰黄。
以上八味药各取等量，用薄绵包裹少许药粉，塞入有虫蚀的牙洞中。每天更换三次，即可痊愈。或者使用以下方子：
白附子、知母各一分，细辛五分，川芎三分，高良姜二分。
以上五味药研成粉末，用绵包裹少许，敷在蛀牙处，不要吞咽流出的汁液。每天二到三次，也有效。
白矾（烧制）、熊胆各一分，蟾酥、雄黄、麝香各半分。
以上药物制成散剂，每次取半钱，敷在牙根上。
蜀椒二十粒，枳根皮、莽草、细辛、石菖蒲、牛膝各二两。
以上六味药，用水四升煮至剩余二升，滤去药渣，细细含漱，以痊愈为度。若未痊愈可再制作服用，直到痊愈为止。另外，单煮独活一味药，含漱效果也很好。
川芎、当归各三两，独活、细辛、白芷各四两。
以上药物用水五升，煮至剩余二升，滤去药渣含漱，每天三到五次，直到痊愈。
郁李根白皮四两，细辛一两，盐一合。
以上药物用水四升，煮至剩余二升半，滤去药渣，加入盐含漱，直到痊愈。
川芎、薏苡根各三两，防风二两，细辛一两。
以上药物用水六升，煮至剩余二升，滤去药渣含漱，每天三到五次。
羊肾脂、米泔水沉淀物各二合，牛粪（绞取汁液）一合，甘草半两（生用并研成粉末），青黛、薰黄各半两（研成粉末）。
以上六味药混合，在铜器中用微火煎煮五六沸，取向东生长的桃枝如筷子粗细的六枝，用绵缠绕头部，蘸取药液，交替加热，烙断牙龈边缘。隔日再次烙治，不超过两三天，待好肉长出，痊愈后停止。欲进行烙治时，先净刮牙齿根部，然后再进行操作。否则肉不会生长。十余日内，忌食生冷、醋、酒、肉类及陈腐异味食物，一年内禁止食用油脂。
[Shenfang for Treating Dental Caries by Hua Tuo]
Bufo bufo gargarizans (burned to ash), Shidai (Mineral Azurite), Ganpi (Cortex Glycyrrhizae), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Baijishi (Excrement of White Chicken), Shexiang (Moschus), Jiangjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Siccatum), Xunhuang (Realgar).
The above eight ingredients are taken in equal parts. Wrap a small amount in thin silk and insert it into the carious tooth cavity. Change three times daily; this will cure the condition. Alternatively, use the following prescription:
Baifuzi (Typhonii Rhizoma), Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma) each 1 fen; Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) 5 fen; Xiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma) 3 fen; Gaoliangjiang (Alpiniae Officinarum Rhizoma) 2 fen.
The above five ingredients are powdered. Wrap a small amount in silk and apply to the carious tooth; do not swallow the juice. Apply two or three times daily; this is also effective.
Baijian (Alumen Usticum), Xiongdan (Ursi Bile) each 1 fen; Chansu (Bufonis Venenum), Xionghuang (Realgar), Shexiang (Moschus) each 0.5 fen.
Grind the above into a powder. Use half a qian per application, applying to the gum root.
Shujiao (Sichuan Pepper) 20 grains, Zhigenpi (Cortex Rhamni), Mangcao (Illicium Anisatum), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Changpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix) each 2 liang.
Boil the above six ingredients in 4 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng. Strain and gargle slowly with the decoction until cured. If not cured, prepare again until cured. Additionally, boiling Huoxue (Dongquill Radix) alone and gargling with it is also beneficial.
Xiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) each 3 liang; Huoxue (Dongquill Radix), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) each 4 liang.
Boil the above in 5 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng. Strain and gargle. Do this three to five times daily until cured.
Yuligenbaipi (Cortex Pruni Armeniacae Viridis) 4 liang, Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) 1 liang, Yan (Sal) 1 he.
Boil the above in 4 sheng of water until reduced to 2.5 sheng. Strain, add salt, and gargle until cured.
Xiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Yiyigen (Radix Coicis) each 3 liang; Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) 2 liang, Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) 1 liang.
Boil the above in 6 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng. Strain and gargle. Do this three to five times daily.
Langedzi (Semen Daturae) several grains, insert into the tooth cavity and seal with wax; this will immediately cure the condition.
Yangshenzhi (Adipose Tissue of Ovis/Capra Kidney), Gandian (Starch from Rice Wash Water) each 2 he; Niufenzhi (Jus Excrementi Bovini) 1 he; Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) 0.5 liang (raw, powdered); Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis), Xunhuang (Realgar) each 0.5 liang (powdered).
Mix the above six ingredients and simmer gently in a copper vessel for five or six boils. Take six branches of peach wood growing towards the east, approximately as thick as chopsticks. Wrap the ends in silk, dip in the medicinal oil, heat alternately, and cauterize the interdental gingiva. Repeat the cauterization every other day. Within two or three days, healthy flesh will grow back; stop when cured. Before cauterizing, thoroughly scrape the tooth roots clean, then proceed. Otherwise, the flesh will not regenerate. For more than ten days, avoid raw/cold foods, vinegar, alcohol, meat, and stale odors; abstain from oil for one year.
