White urine in infants is caused by the mother's irregular breastfeeding, which excessively damages the Spleen and Stomach. This leads to a failure in distinguishing the clear from the turbid, resulting in urine that resembles rice wash water. If prolonged, it may develop into infantile malnutrition (Gan syndrome). It can also be caused by latent heat in the Heart and Diaphragm. Treatment should focus on strengthening the Spleen Earth; resolving food stagnation and transforming accumulation, and promoting urination. Fanglin San (Poria Powder), Sanleng San (Curcuma Zedoaria Powder), or Liqing Yin (Clearing Decoction) may be selected for use.

Enuresis in infants is due to cold in the Bladder, which fails to constrain water. The Kidney governs water, and Kidney Qi connects downward to the genitalia. Urine is the surplus of body fluids. The Bladder is the mansion of body fluids. When both the Kidney and Bladder are deficient, cold qi takes advantage of this weakness. Due to this decline, they cannot restrain the flow, causing urine to escape uncontrollably, resulting in enuresis. Another condition is bedwetting, also caused by cold in the Bladder. Night belongs to Yin; when urine is not constrained, it flows out spontaneously from the bladder, termed bedwetting. Suitable treatments include Pogostemon Powder (Poguzi San), Alpinia Powder (Yizhiren San), and Chicken Intestine Powder (Jichang San).
