病
夫脱肛者，肛门翻出也，乃虚寒下脱。其病或由肠风、痔漏久服寒凉，坐弩而下脱；或因久痢里急，窘
迫而脱下；又有产妇用力过多，及小儿叫号怒气，久痢、久泻不止，风邪袭虚而脱也。盖肺
与大肠为表里，肛者，大肠之门，肺实热则闭结，肺寒虚则肛出。肾主大便，故肺肾虚者，多有此证。
治
若大肠湿热，用升阳除湿汤；若血热，用四物汤加条芩、槐花；血虚，四物汤加白术、茯苓，兼痔，加槐
花、黄连、升麻；虚热，用补中益气汤加芍药；肾虚，六味地黄丸。
方
升阳除湿汤 自下而上者，引而竭之。
柴胡 升麻 防风 猪苓 泽泻 苍术 陈皮 神曲（炒） 麦芽（炒） 甘草
上锉水煎，空心温服。胃寒肠鸣，加益智、半夏。
提气散
黄 人参 白术 当归 白芍 干姜（炮） 柴胡 升麻 羌活 甘草
上水煎服。
治肛门边肿硬痛痒。
用白矾三分，碎研，用热童便二盏，化开，洗痔上，一日二三次洗之。
二槐丹（刘桐川传） 治脱肛。
槐角 槐子（各等分）
上为末，生羊血调成块，晒干，或微焙干，毋令血热。每服二钱，空心黄酒送下。
秘方
用鳖一个，水煮留汤洗肛，将鳖食之。又留骨烧存性，敷肛上，神效。
治脱肛。
用乌龙尾、鼠粪和之，烧烟于桶内，令坐其上，熏之数次即上，不脱为效。
病
所谓脱肛，是指肛门向外翻出，这属于虚寒导致的下陷脱出。这种病症可能是因为患有肠风、痔漏，长期服用寒凉药物，或因久坐用力过度而导致脱出；也可能是因为长期痢疾导致里急后重，因窘迫用力而脱出；还有产妇用力过多，以及小儿哭闹愤怒，或久痢、久泻不止，风邪侵袭虚弱部位而导致的脱出。肺与大肠互为表里，肛门是大肠的门户，如果肺实热则会导致便秘，肺寒虚则会导致肛门脱出。肾主管大便，所以肺肾两虚的人，多有这种症状。
治
如果是大肠湿热证，使用升阳除湿汤；如果是血热证，使用四物汤加条芩、槐花；如果是血虚证，使用四物汤加白术、茯苓，兼有痔疮的，加槐花、黄连、升麻；如果是虚热证，使用补中益气汤加芍药；如果是肾虚证，使用六味地黄丸。
方
升阳除湿汤：对于从下部向上脱出的病症，采用引导其上升的方法。
药材包括：柴胡、升麻、防风、猪苓、泽泻、苍术、陈皮、神曲（炒制）、麦芽（炒制）、甘草。
以上药材切碎，加水煎煮，空腹温服。如果伴有胃寒肠鸣，加入益智仁、半夏。
提气散
药材包括：黄（此处疑为黄芪之误，依原文保留“黄”）、人参、白术、当归、白芍、干姜（炮制）、柴胡、升麻、羌活、甘草。
以上药材加水煎服。
用于治疗肛门周围肿胀、坚硬、疼痛、瘙痒。
用白矾三分，捣碎研细，用热童子尿两盏化开，清洗痔疮患处，每天二三次。

Disease
Tuogang (Rectal Prolapse) refers to the eversion of the anus, which is a prolapse caused by deficiency-cold. This condition may arise from long-term use of cold-natured drugs for Changer Feng (Wind in Intestines) or Zhi Lou (Hemorrhoids and Fistula), or from prolonged straining while sitting; it may also result from chronic dysentery with Tenesmus (urgent need to defecate), causing prolapse due to distress and straining; furthermore, it can be caused by excessive exertion during childbirth, crying and anger in infants, persistent chronic dysentery or diarrhea, or Wind Pathogen invading deficient areas leading to prolapse. The Lung and Large Intestine are exterior-interiorly related. The anus is the gate of the Large Intestine. If the Lung has Excess-Heat, it leads to constipation; if the Lung is Cold and Deficient, it leads to anal prolapse. The Kidney governs bowel movements, so individuals with Lung and Kidney Deficiency often suffer from this condition.
Treatment
If the syndrome is Damp-Heat in the Large Intestine, use Shengyang Chushi Tang (Yang-Raising and Dampness-Dispelling Decoction); if it is Blood-Heat, use Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) added with Tiao Qin (Scutellariae Radix) and Huai Hua (Flos Sophorae); if it is Blood Deficiency, use Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) added with Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) and Fuling (Poria), and if accompanied by hemorrhoids, add Huai Hua (Flos Sophorae), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), and Shengma ( Cimicifugae Rhizoma); if it is Deficiency-Heat, use Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Middle-Supplementing and Qi-Boosting Decoction) added with Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix); if it is Kidney Deficiency, use Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Six-Ingredient Pill with Rehmannia).
Formulas
Shengyang Chushi Tang (Yang-Raising and Dampness-Dispelling Decoction): For conditions protruding from below upwards, employ methods to guide them upward.
Ingredients: Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix), Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Zhuling (Poria), Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma), Cangzhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Shenqu (Massa Medicata Fermentata - stir-fried), Maiya (Hordei Fructus Germinatus - stir-fried), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma).
Crush the ingredients, decoct in water, and take warm on an empty stomach. If accompanied by Stomach Cold and intestinal borborygmi, add Yizhi (Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus) and Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma).
Ti Qi San (Qi-Lifting Powder)
Ingredients: Huang (likely Qiancao or Huangqi, literally "Yellow"), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma - processed), Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix), Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma).
Decoct in water and take orally.
Used to treat swelling, induration, pain, and itching around the anus.
Use 3 fen of Bai Fan (Alumen), crush and grind finely, dissolve in two cups of hot Tong Bian (Child's Urine), and wash the hemorrhoidal area. Wash two to three times a day.
Er Huai Dan (Two Sophora Pills) (Transmitted by Liu Tongchuan): Treats rectal prolapse.
Ingredients: Huai Jiao (Fructus Sophorae), Huai Zi (Semen Sophorae) (equal parts).
Grind into powder, mix with raw Sheep Blood (Ovis/Caprae Sanguis) to form blocks, dry in the sun, or lightly bake until dry, ensuring the blood does not become hot. Take 2 qian per dose, washed down with yellow wine on an empty stomach.
Secret Recipe
Boil one soft-shelled turtle (Trionyx sinensis) in water, reserve the broth to wash the anus, and consume the turtle meat. Additionally, burn the turtle bones until carbonized (preserving their nature), and apply the ash to the anus. This yields miraculous effects.
Treats rectal prolapse.
Mix Wulong Wei (Tail of Black Dragon, likely referring to a specific herb or animal part contextually) and Shu Fen (Mouse Droppings), burn them in a bucket to generate smoke, and have the patient sit over the bucket to fumigate. After several fumigations, the prolapse will reduce and remain in place, which indicates efficacy.
