天门冬（去心） 麦冬（去心） 元参
等分为末，炼蜜丸为弹子大，每含一丸，虽数年不愈者亦断根。以生姜蘸蜜水揩洗，用
薄荷自然汁同白蜜调敷。
蓝叶捣汁洗愈，若因气郁生疮，用甑上倒汗水搽立效，并治小儿疳。或唇破生疮，瓦松
生姜汁捣融，入盐少许，敷之愈。
皂矾五钱，瓦焙红放地上，冷定研末掺之。若其牙关紧闭，用物撬开牙齿，搽药。
泡浓茶一大碗，以患处浸茶内半枝香久即痊。
甘草（三钱） 桔梗（二钱） 荆芥 牛蒡 炒贝母（去心，各一钱五分） 前胡（一钱） 薄

名加味甘桔汤。（盛者，宜服加味甘桔汤。）
（治十八种喉风）
青黛（水飞） 石青 雄黄（各一两） 胆矾（三钱） 人中白 硼砂 元明粉（各五钱） 黄
连（二钱） 真冰片（五分）
共为细末，瓷罐收贮，勿令泄气，急时以二三分吹喉愈。
吴茱萸研磨成粉末，用醋涂抹脚心，过夜即可痊愈，使用敷贴的方法更为巧妙。
生附子研磨成粉末，或者用吴茱萸和热醋调匀后敷在双脚脚心，无论属于虚火还是实火，都极其神妙有效。
天门冬（去除芯部）、麦冬（去除芯部）、玄参，等量混合研磨成粉末，用炼蜜制成如弹子大小的丸剂，每次含服一丸，即使是数年不愈的病症也能断根。可以用生姜蘸取蜜水擦拭清洗患处，或者用薄荷自然汁与白蜜调匀后敷贴。
板蓝叶捣碎取汁清洗患处可治愈；如果是因气郁导致的疮疡，使用蒸锅上倒出的汗水涂抹，立即见效，同时也可治疗小儿疳积病。如果嘴唇破裂生疮，将瓦松与生姜汁捣烂融合，加入少许盐，敷贴即可痊愈。
将花炒成粉末后撒敷。另一个方子，用香薷煎水含漱并咽下。还有木贼四钱，煎水漱口即可止血止痛。
冰片研磨成粉末涂抹，伤口即可收敛愈合。另一个方子，取番木鳖四个，刮去毛的黄连一两，一同熬煮浸泡舌头。
皂矾五钱，在瓦器中焙烧至发红后放在地上，冷却定形后研磨成粉末撒敷。如果患者牙关紧闭，需用工具撬开牙齿，然后搽药。
泡一大碗浓茶，将患处浸入茶水中，保持半支香的长时间浸泡，不久即可痊愈。
甘草（三钱）、桔梗（二钱）、荆芥、牛蒡子、炒贝母（去除芯部，各一钱五分）、前胡（一钱）、薄荷（五分），名为加味甘桔汤。（病情较重者，适宜服用加味甘桔汤。）
（治疗十八种喉风）
青黛（水飞法处理）、石青、雄黄（各一两）、胆矾（三钱）、人中白、硼砂、元明粉（各五钱）、黄连（二钱）、真冰片（五分），共同研磨成细末，用瓷罐密封储存，不要漏气，紧急时取二三分为末吹入咽喉即可痊愈。
（治疗风热上攻引起的咽喉疼痛，以及喉痹导致的胸闷不适）
苦梗（一两）、甘草（二两，炒制），以上药物每次服用二钱，用水煎煮。这是另一个方子。
Evodiae Fructus (Wuzhuyu) is ground into powder, applied to the sole of the foot with vinegar; it heals overnight, and using a plaster is even more effective.
Raw Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Sheng Fuzi) is ground into powder, or mixed with Evodiae Fructus (Wuzhuyu) and hot vinegar, then applied to both soles of the feet. It is extremely miraculous regardless of whether the fire deficiency or excess.
Asparagi Radix (Tianmendong, heart removed), Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong, heart removed), and Scrophulariae Radix (Yuanshen) are mixed in equal parts, ground into powder, and made into pills the size of a bullet using refined honey. Each time, hold one pill in the mouth. Even cases lasting for years can be cured at the root. Rub the affected area with ginger dipped in honey water, or apply a mixture of fresh juice of Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe) and white honey.
Blumeae Folium (Lanye) juice is crushed and used to wash the lesion for cure. If the sore arises from Qi stagnation, apply sweat collected from the top of a steamer; this works immediately and also treats pediatric gan disease (malnutrition). If the lips break out in sores, crush Valeriana jatamansi (Wasong) with ginger juice, add a little salt, and apply for cure.
The flower is stir-fried, ground into powder, and sprinkled on the lesion. Another prescription: decoct Elsholtziae Herba (Xiangru) in water, gargle and swallow. Another: decoct Equiseti Hiemalis Herba (Muzei) 4 qian, gargle with the water to stop pain/bleeding.
Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian) is ground into powder and applied for immediate healing. Another prescription: take 4 Strychni Semen (Fanmubie), scrape 1 liang of Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) free of hairs, boil together, and soak the tongue.
Vitriolum Ferri et Cupri (Zaofan) 5 qian is roasted in a tile until red, placed on the ground to cool, then ground into powder and sprinkled. If the jaw is clenched tight, pry open the teeth with an object and apply the medicine.
Polygoni Multiflori Caulis (Puhuang) 1 qian is ground into powder and sprinkled; it also treats bleeding from the tongue.
Ovis Barba (Yangxu) is kept as is, add a little Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian), mix with Sesami Oleum (Mayou), and apply for cure.
Steep a large bowl of strong tea, immerse the affected area in the tea for the time it takes to burn half a stick of incense, and it will recover soon.
Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) 3 qian, Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng) 2 qian, Schizonepetae Herba (Jingjie), Arctii Fructus (Niubang), Stir-fried Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus (Chao Beimu, heart removed, 1.5 qian each), Peucedani Radix (Qianhu) 1 qian, Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe) 0.5 fen. This is named Jia Wei Gan Jie Tang (Modified Licorice and Platycodon Decoction). (For severe cases, it is suitable to take Jia Wei Gan Jie Tang.)
(Treating eighteen types of Hou Feng [Throat Wind])
Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai, processed by water levigation), Azurite (Shiqing), Realgar (Xionghuang) 1 liang each, Chalcanthite (Danfan) 3 qian, Numinis Cinis (Renzhongbai), Borax (Pengsha), Mirabilite (Yuanmingfen) 5 qian each, Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) 2 qian, True Borneolum (Zhen Bingpian) 0.5 fen. Grind all into fine powder, store in a porcelain jar, ensuring no air leakage. In emergencies, blow 2-3 fen into the throat for cure.
(Treating wind-heat attacking upwards causing throat pain, and Hou Bi [throat obstruction] causing chest stuffiness)
Platycodonis Radix (Kugeng/Jiegeng) 1 liang, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) 2 liang (stir-fried). Take 2 qian per dose, decoct in water. This is another prescription.
