凡是小腹部疼痛，并牵引至睾丸，表现为寒多热少，喜欢饮用热汤的，这是疝气病。如果阴囊出现红肿、发热，小便颜色深黄且排尿涩痛，体内有热感且口干，阴囊下坠沉重并伴有疼痛，这是囊痈的症状表现。此时不应当使用治疗疝气的温热药物，而应以清肝渗湿汤为主方进行治疗。
川芎、龙胆草、天花粉、当归、生地黄、柴胡、山栀、黄芩（各一钱），泽泻、木通、甘草（各五分），加入灯心草，用水煎煮，在饭前服用。
溃烂后撒敷的药物：用蚌壳、黄连、青黛，各取等份，研磨成极细粉末，外敷患处。
另一种方法：取出鸡卵壳内的内膜，与黄连、轻粉按等比例研成末，用炼制过的麻油调和后外敷。
此方专门治疗痔疮和瘘管，不论病程长短，对于脓血随大便排出的症状，服用此药可以化解管道、去除病根。这个方子是由异人传授的，旨在拯救人们的灾难，停止疼痛，救活了许多人。只适宜传播方剂、施舍药物，不可传授给品行不端之人。若心存私利访问求取，则不应给予。
药材包括：胎元（三个，即男子的脐带，在新瓦上焙干至存性）、陈棕（七钱，以数十年者为佳，烧成灰存性）、京牛黄（三分）、槐角子（五钱，肥大者在新瓦上焙干存性）、刺皮（三钱，用酥油炙烤）、象皮（四钱，用酥油炙烤）、地榆（三钱）。以上七味药共同研磨成细末，用酥油制成丸药，大小如蚕子。如果不能成丸，可加少许糯米糊即可成型。每次服用七丸，空腹用白开水送服。三日后可化解管道并止痛，七日疮面平满，血清脓止，十日即可除根。这是一个奇特的方子。
取河边柳树的根须一把，白芥子和花椒各二钱，煎汤熏洗患处。其虫头部黑色、身体白色，都会从疮口排出，立即痊愈。
取大黑枣三枚，剖开两片去核，放入铜绿塞住，外面用干净的黄土和泥包裹好。煅烧后取出，去掉泥土，研磨成细粉，用真麻油调和涂抹。
Whenever there is pain in the lower abdomen that radiates to the testicles, accompanied by more cold than heat and a preference for drinking hot liquids, this is **Shan Qi** (Hernia Disease). If the scrotum presents with redness, swelling, and heat, dark and scanty urine, internal heat, dry mouth, heaviness, and pain due to sagging, these are signs of **Nang Yong** (Scrotal Abscess). In such cases, warm herbs used for treating hernias should not be applied; instead, **Qing Gan Shen Shi Tang** (Liver-Clearing and Damp-Draining Decoction) should be the primary treatment.
Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong), Gentiana Root (Longdan Cao), Trichosanthes Root (Tianhuafen), Angelica Sinensis Root (Danggui), Rehmannia Root (Shengdi), Bupleurum Root (Chaihu), Gardenia Fruit (Shanzhi), Scutellaria Root (Huangqin) (each 1 qian), Alisma Rhizome (Zexie), Akebia Stem (Mutong), Licorice Root (Gancao) (each 0.5 qian), add Juncus Effusus (Dengxin), decoct in water, and take before meals.
For post-ulceration topical powder: Use Clam Shell (Bangke), Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian), and Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai) in equal parts, grind into an extremely fine powder, and apply externally.
Another method: Take the inner membrane of a chicken eggshell, mix with Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian) and Calomel (Qingfen) in equal proportions, grind into powder, and apply using refined Sesame Oil (Mazhuyou).
This formula specifically treats hemorrhoids and fistulas, regardless of whether they are recent or chronic. For conditions with pus and blood passing through the intestines, taking this medicine will dissolve the tract and eradicate the root cause. This formula was transmitted by an unusual person to save people from disaster, relieve pain, and has saved many lives. It should only be disseminated as a prescription and dispensed as medicine; it must not be taught to unscrupulous individuals. Those seeking it out of selfish interest should not receive it.
Ingredients: Tai Yuan (Three pieces, i.e., male umbilical cord, calcined on a new tile until carbonized but retaining efficacy), Chen Zong (7 qian, preferably from decades-old palm fibers, burned to ash and carbonized), Jing Niuhuang (3 fen), Huaijiaozi (5 qian, large and plump ones calcined on a tile until carbonized), Ci Pi (3 qian, fried with lard), Xiang Pi (4 qian, fried with lard), Diyü (3 qian). The above seven ingredients are ground into a fine powder, mixed with rendered animal fat (Suyou) to form pills the size of silkworm eggs. If they do not hold shape, add a little rice paste. Take seven pills per dose, swallowed with plain boiling water on an empty stomach. The tract dissolves and pain stops within three days; the wound fills flat within seven days, serum clears, and pus stops; the root cause is eliminated within ten days. This is a miraculous formula.
Take a handful of willow root hairs from the riverside, Baijiezi (White Mustard Seed) and Huajiao (Sichuan Pepper) each 2 qian. Decoct in water to fumigate and wash the affected area. The worms, which have black heads and white bodies, will emerge from the sore, leading to immediate recovery.
Take three large black dates, slice them open and remove the pits. Insert Tonglü (Malachite Green) into the cavity. Wrap tightly with clean red earth mixed with mud. After processing, remove the earth, grind into a fine powder, and mix with genuine Sesame Oil (Mazhuyou) for topical application.
