敛一切疮口，生肌止痛。黄连散方
黄连（去须） 木香 槟榔（锉等分）
上三味，捣罗为散，干敷疮上，日三次。
治诸疮不合生肌。地黄膏方
生干地黄（三分） 白芨 白蔹 甘草（生锉各半两） 白芷（三分） 猪脂（半斤练）
上六味，除脂外，捣罗为末，入脂内熬成膏，候冷，日三四上涂之。
治一切疮生肌，及金疮不合。生肌膏方
白芍药 乳香（研） 胡粉 干姜（炮各一两） 油（四两） 蜡（二两）
上六味，除油蜡外，捣罗为末，熔油蜡相和，煎如膏，候冷贴疮上，日二换之。
治诸疮，生肌肉。桃红散方
铅丹（炒半两） 白蔹（为末一两） 胡粉（二两）
上三味，同研为细散，每用少许，疮上干掺后贴膏药。
治疮止痛生肌肉。乳香饼子方
乳香 麒麟竭 没药（并细研各半分）
上三味，再同研令细匀，以狗胆和成膏，捏作饼子，如榆荚大，每用时，看疮大小，以
饼按疮上，外用膏药贴定。
治诸恶疮疮口生肌肉颇迟者。生肌散方
墙上多年白蚬壳（火 通赤去火候冷研） 草无名异（为末） 密佗僧（火 过各一钱）
上三味，更入麝香少许，同研令匀细，每用少许，掺疮口上。
生肌止痛。金花散方
密佗僧 花乳石（火 过） 龙骨（各一两） 乳香（一钱） 腻粉（三钱匕）
上五味，研为细散，每用掺贴疮上。
治疮口不合生肌方
鸡内金（阴干） 槟榔（锉） 木香 黄连（去须等分）
上四味，为末，贴之，取瘥为度，及治金疮。
止痛生肌。石榴散方
上用酸石榴一枚，扎作窍子，纳白矾一两，慢火内深焙，烧半日，存性为散贴之，取瘥
为度。
治诸疮生肌敛疮口。槟榔散方

上三味和匀，干敷。
论述说：疮毒已经化脓出血，按压内部感觉肌肉凹陷不平的，这是因为虽然热邪之气已尽，但寒气未除，经络不足以温煦肌肤的缘故。如果不迅速治疗，就会重新长出恶肉，转变为冷疮。这种情况适宜内服药物以温补气血，外用药物以温煦皮肉，内外得到温煦，新肌自然生长。
治疗发背痈疽，已经溃破，温暖肌肉促进生肌的芎散方：
川芎（一两） 当归（切片焙干） 人参 防风（去除叉枝） 桂枝（去除粗皮各三分） 厚朴（去除粗皮，用生姜汁炙烤） 白芷 芍药 甘草（炙烤锉碎） 黄芪（锉碎） 桔梗（锉碎炒制各半两）
以上十一味药，捣碎过筛成为散剂，每次服用二钱匕，用温酒调服，每日三次。
治疗发背痈疽等疮疡，疼痛且肌肉不生长的鲮鲤甲散方：
鲮鲤甲（炙烤至焦黑） 桂枝（去除粗皮） 当归（切片焙干各半两）
以上三味药，捣碎过筛成为散剂，每次服用二钱匕，用温酒调服，早晚空腹服用，可加量至三钱匕。
治疗痈疽发背，一切疮肿，已经溃破流出脓血，温暖肌肉促进生肌的王不留行散方：
王不留行 龙骨（各二两） 野葛皮（一分） 干姜（炮制） 桂枝（去除粗皮各三分） 栝楼根 当归（切片焙干各一两）
以上七味药，捣碎过筛成为散剂，每天空腹时，用温酒调服二钱匕，待药效发挥后，逐渐加量至三钱匕，晚上再服一次，以痊愈为限度。
治疗一切疮疡，促进肌肉生长，停止疼痛，化解脓液消肿的生肌散方：
黄蜀葵花（焙干半两） 乳香（研细一分） 不灰木（一两） 白蔹（一分）
以上四味药，捣碎过筛成为散剂，先用温甘草水清洗疮口，干燥后撒在疮上，每日三次。
收敛一切疮口，促进肌肉生长止痛的黄连散方：
黄连（去除须根） 木香 槟榔（锉碎等分）
以上三味药，捣碎过筛成为散剂，直接敷在疮上，每日三次。
治疗各种疮疡不生肌肉的地黄膏方：
生干地黄（三分） 白芨 白蔹 甘草（生锉各半两） 白芷（三分） 猪脂（半斤炼净）
以上六味药，除去猪脂外，将其他药物捣碎过筛成末，加入猪脂中熬制成膏，冷却后，每日三四次涂抹。
治疗一切疮疡生肌，以及金创不合口的生肌膏方：
白芍药 乳香（研细） 胡粉 干姜（炮制各一两） 油（四两） 蜡（二两）
以上六味药，除去油和蜡外，将其他药物捣碎过筛成末，熔化油和蜡混合，煎煮如膏状，冷却后贴在疮上，每日更换两次。
治疗各种疮疡，促进肌肉生长的桃红散方：
铅丹（炒制半两） 白蔹（研末一两） 胡粉（二两）
以上三味药，共同研成细散，每次取少许，撒在疮上后再贴膏药。
治疗疮疡止痛生肌的乳香饼子方：
乳香 麒麟竭 没药（均研细各半分）
以上三味药，再次共同研匀，用狗胆汁调和成膏，捏成饼子，大小如榆荚，每次使用时，根据疮的大小，将饼按在疮上，外面再用膏药贴定。
治疗各种恶疮疮口生肌特别缓慢的生肌散方：
墙上多年的白蚬壳（火煅通红去火气冷却后研磨） 草乌头无名异（研末） 密佗僧（火煅过各一钱）
以上三味药，再加入少许麝香，共同研匀细，每次取少许，撒在疮口上。
促进肌肉生长止痛的金花散方：
密佗僧 花乳石（火煅过） 龙骨（各一两） 乳香（一钱） 腻粉（三钱匕）
以上五味药，研成细散，每次取少许撒在疮上并贴敷。
治疗疮口不合生肌的方剂：
鸡内金（阴干） 槟榔（锉碎） 木香 黄连（去除须根等分）
以上四味药，研成末，贴敷使用，以痊愈为限度，也可治疗金创。
止痛生肌的石榴散方：
取酸石榴一枚，扎出孔洞，纳入白矾一两，在慢火中深焙，烧半天，保留药性成为散剂贴敷，以痊愈为限度。
治疗各种疮疡生肌收敛疮口的槟榔散方：
槟榔（生研末） 寒水石（炭火烧红去灰细研各半两） 龙骨（研） 白蔹（末） 白芨（末各半两）
以上五味药，再次研匀，每次取少量薄撒在疮口内，然后用各种膏药贴敷。
治疗疮疡生肌的乌贼鱼骨膏方：
乌贼鱼骨（研末） 旧船缝锻石（各研一两） 铅丹（二两半） 麝香（研一钱） 油（八两）
以上五味药，先熬油令其沸腾，其次放入船灰、乌贼骨末、铅丹，用柳条搅拌直到变成黑色，然后加入麝香，继续搅拌使其均匀，稀稠适中，装在瓷盒中，薄纸贴敷，每日两次。
治疗发背痈疽一切疮肿，排出脓血，促进肌肉生长的薤白膏方：
薤白（细切四两） 当归（切片焙干） 附子（炮制去皮脐） 白芷 川芎 续断（各一两） 细辛（去苗叶半两） 黄芪（锉碎一两半） 猪脂（三斤）
以上九味药，除去猪脂外，锉碎，用半升酒浸泡一夜，熬猪脂令其沸腾，下入诸药，煎煮直到白芷呈赤黑色，用绵布过滤，装在瓷盒中，每日三到四次，涂于疮上。
治疗各种痈疽，去除脓血后虚弱的生肌膏方：
黄芪 当归（各三分） 生地黄（一两半） 防风（去叉枝） 大黄 芍药 黄芩（去黑心） 川芎 续断 附子（生用去皮脐） 白芷 甘草 细辛（去苗叶各半两） 猪脂（二斤）
以上十四味药，除去猪脂外，全部锉碎，先用半升醋浸泡一夜，加入猪脂，用瓷器盛装，在蒸笼上蒸半天，用绵布绞去渣滓，装在瓷盒中，取来涂敷疮上，每日三到四次使用。
治疗发背痈疽，已经溃破不生肉，温暖肌肉干燥疮口的苁蓉膏方：
肉苁蓉（一两） 当归 蜀椒（去除目闭口者炒出汗） 细辛（去苗叶） 乌喙（各半两） 薤白（七茎） 生干地黄（一两） 蛇衔草 白芷（各半两） 半夏（一两） 甘草（半两） 猪脂（二斤）
以上十三味药，除去猪脂外，锉碎，用半升醋拌药一夜，先熬猪脂令其沸腾，下入诸药，煎煮直到白芷呈赤黑色滤出，用绵布过滤，装在瓷盒中，取来涂于疮上，每日三到五次，以痊愈为限度。
治疗疮肿，促进肌肉生长，固定疼痛的绵红散方：
寒水石（火煅如粉二钱） 定粉 龙骨（捣研） 乳香（各一钱） 干胭脂（看多少加入使粉末变红色）
以上五味药，捣碎过筛成细散，敷入疮口中用纸贴。
Commentary states: When the toxicity of a sore has already suppurated and bled, and pressing the interior reveals uneven or depressed muscle tissue, it is because although the heat pathogen has been exhausted, the cold pathogen remains, and the meridians are insufficient to warm the skin and muscles. If not treated promptly, malignant flesh will regenerate, transforming into a cold sore. In such cases, it is appropriate to internally warm the qi and blood, and externally warm the skin and muscles. Once both interior and exterior are warmed, new muscle tissue will naturally grow.
Formula for Xiong San (Cnidium Powder) to treat back carbuncles and deep abscesses that have ulcerated, warming the muscles and promoting tissue regeneration:
Chuanxiong Rhizome (Radix Chuanxiong) (1 liang), Danggui Root (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (sliced and roasted), Renshen Root (Radix Ginseng), Fangfeng Root (Radix Saposhnikoviae) (forked parts removed), Guizhi Twig (Ramulus Cinnamomi) (coarse bark removed, each 3 fen), Houpu Bark (Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis) (coarse bark removed, processed with ginger juice), Baizhi Root (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Shaoyao Root (Radix Paeoniae Alba), Gancao Root (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis) (roasted and crushed), Huangqi Root (Radix Astragali Membranacei) (crushed), Jiegeng Root (Radix Platycodonis) (crushed and stir-fried, each 0.5 liang).
The above eleven ingredients are pounded, sifted into a powder. Take 2 qianbi per dose, mixed with warm wine, taken three times daily.
Formula for Lingli Jia San (Pangolin Scale Powder) to treat back carbuncles and other sores where pain persists and muscle does not grow:
Lingli Jia (Squama Manis) (roasted until charred black), Guizhi Twig (Ramulus Cinnamomi) (coarse bark removed), Danggui Root (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (sliced and roasted, each 0.5 liang).
The above three ingredients are pounded, sifted into a powder. Take 2 qianbi per dose, mixed with warm wine, taken on an empty stomach in the morning and evening. The dose may be increased to 3 qianbi.
Formula for Wangbuliuxing San (Vaccaria Seed Powder) to treat carbuncles and back sores, all swellings that have ulcerated and discharged pus and blood, warming the muscles and promoting tissue regeneration:
Wangbuliuxing Seed (Semen Vaccariae), Longgu Fossil Bones (Os Draconis et Mammutis) (each 2 liang), Yegedi Bark (Cortex Kadsurae), Ganjiang Dried Ginger (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) (processed), Guizhi Twig (Ramulus Cinnamomi) (coarse bark removed, each 3 fen), Gualougen Trichosanthes Root (Radix Trichosanthis), Danggui Root (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (sliced and roasted, each 1 liang).
The above seven ingredients are pounded, sifted into a powder. Take on an empty stomach daily, mixed with warm wine, 2 qianbi per dose. After the medicinal effect takes hold, gradually increase to 3 qianbi. Take again in the evening. Continue until healed.
Formula for Shengji San (Muscle-Generating Powder) to treat all sores, promote muscle growth, relieve pain, resolve pus, and reduce swelling:
Huangshu Kuihua Flower of Yellow Hibiscus (Flos Malvae Moschatae) (roasted dry, 0.5 liang), Rushiang Resin (Resina Frankincense) (ground, 1 fen), Buhui Wood (Mineral substance), Bailian Rhizome (Rhizoma Belamcandae) (1 fen).
The above four ingredients are pounded, sifted into a powder. First wash the sore with warm licorice water, then apply the dry powder to the sore three times daily.
Formula for Huanglian San (Coptis Powder) to contract all sore openings, promote muscle growth, and relieve pain:
Huanglian Rhizome (Rhizoma Coptidis) (remove rootlets), Muxiang Root (Radix Aucklandiae), Binglang Areca Nut (Semen Arecae) (crushed, equal parts).
The above three ingredients are pounded, sifted into a powder. Apply dry to the sore three times daily.
Formula for Dihuang Gao (Rehmannia Ointment) to treat various sores failing to generate muscle:
Shengdihuang Fresh Rehmannia Root (Radix Rehmanniae Recens) (dried, 3 fen), Baiji Rhizome (Rhizoma Bletillae), Bailian Rhizome (Rhizoma Belamcandae), Gancao Root (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis) (raw, crushed, each 0.5 liang), Baizhi Root (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae) (3 fen), Zhuzhi Pig Fat (Adipatum Sus) (refined, 0.5 jin).
The above six ingredients, excluding the fat, are pounded, sifted into a fine powder, and incorporated into the fat to boil into an ointment. Cool before use. Apply three to four times daily.
Formula for Shengji Gao (Muscle-Generating Ointment) to treat all sores generating muscle, and traumatic wounds failing to heal:
Baishaoyao Root (Radix Paeoniae Alba), Rushiang Resin (Resina Frankincense) (ground), Hufen Lead Carbonate (Cerussa), Ganjiang Dried Ginger (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) (processed, each 1 liang), You Oil (4 liang), La Beeswax (Cera Flava) (2 liang).
The above six ingredients, excluding the oil and wax, are pounded, sifted into a fine powder. Melt the oil and wax together, boil with the powder until it forms an ointment. Cool and apply to the sore. Change twice daily.
Formula for Taohong San (Peach Red Powder) to treat various sores and promote muscle growth:
Qiandan Lead Tetroxide (Massa Plumbi Oxidi Rubra) (stir-fried, 0.5 liang), Bailian Rhizome (Rhizoma Belamcandae) (ground, 1 liang), Hufen Lead Carbonate (Cerussa) (2 liang).
The above three ingredients are ground together into a fine powder. Use a small amount, sprinkle on the sore, then apply a plaster.
Formula for Rushiang Bingzi (Frankincense Cake) to relieve pain and generate muscle in sores:
Rushiang Resin (Resina Frankincense), Qilinjie Dragon's Blood (Sanguis Draconis), Moyao Resin (Resina Myrrhae) (all finely ground, each 0.5 fen).
The above three ingredients are ground again until uniform. Mix with dog bile to form a paste, shape into cakes the size of elm seeds. For use, press a cake onto the sore according to its size, and secure with a plaster.
Formula for Shengji San (Muscle-Generating Powder) to treat various malignant sores with very slow muscle regeneration at the wound edge:
Bai xian ke White Clam Shell from wall (calcined red hot, cooled, ground), Caowu Aconite Lateral Root (processed), Mituoseng Lead Subnitrate (calcined, each 1 qian).
Add a small amount of Shexiang Musk (Moschus) to the above three ingredients, grind uniformly. Sprinkle a small amount onto the wound edge.
Formula for Jinhua San (Golden Flower Powder) to generate muscle and relieve pain:
Mituoseng Lead Subnitrate, Huashishi Alum Stone (calcined), Longgu Fossil Bones (Os Draconis et Mammutis) (each 1 liang), Rushiang Resin (Resina Frankincense) (1 qian), Nifen Calomel (Mercurous Chloride) (3 qianbi).
The above five ingredients are ground into a fine powder. Sprinkle a small amount on the sore and apply.
Formula for treating non-healing sore edges and generating muscle:
Jineijin Chicken Gizzard Lining (shade-dried), Binglang Areca Nut (Semen Arecae) (crushed), Muxiang Root (Radix Aucklandiae), Huanglian Rhizome (Rhizoma Coptidis) (remove rootlets, equal parts).
The above four ingredients are ground into powder and applied. Continue until healed. Also treats traumatic wounds.
Formula for Shiliu San (Pomegranate Powder) to relieve pain and generate muscle:
Take one sour pomegranate, pierce holes, insert 1 liang of Baifan Alum (Alumen), roast slowly over low fire for half a day until the nature is preserved. Grind into powder and apply. Continue until healed.
Formula for Banglang San (Areca Nut Powder) to treat various sores, generate muscle, and contract wound edges:
Banglang Areca Nut (Semen Arecae) (raw, ground), Hanshuishi Aragonite (Armeniacum) (charcoal-fired red, ash removed, finely ground, each 0.5 liang), Longgu Fossil Bones (Os Draconis et Mammutis) (ground), Bailian Rhizome (Rhizoma Belamcandae) (ground), Baiji Rhizome (Rhizoma Bletillae) (ground, each 0.5 liang).
The above five ingredients are ground uniformly. Apply thinly inside the wound edge, then cover with various plasters.
Formula for Wuzei Yu Gu Gao (Cuttlefish Bone Ointment) to treat sores and generate muscle:
Wuzei Yu Gu Cuttlefish Bone (Os Sepiae) (ground), Jiuchuanfeng Duanshi Old Ship Seam Furnace Slag (each ground, 1 liang), Qiandan Lead Tetroxide (Massa Plumbi Oxidi Rubra) (2.5 liang), Shexiang Musk (Moschus) (ground, 1 qian), You Oil (8 liang).
The above five ingredients: first boil the oil. Add the slag, cuttlefish bone powder, and lead tetroxide. Stir with a willow stick until it turns black. Add musk and stir until uniform. Adjust consistency appropriately. Store in a porcelain jar. Apply thinly on paper, twice daily.
Formula for Xiebai Gao (Scallion Bulb Ointment) to treat back carbuncles and abscesses, all swellings, discharge pus and blood, and generate muscle:
Xiebai Scallion Bulb (Bulbus Allii Macrostemonis) (finely sliced, 4 liang), Danggui Root (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (sliced and roasted), Fuzi Aconite Lateral Root (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata) (processed, peel and navel removed), Baizhi Root (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Chuanxiong Rhizome (Radix Chuanxiong), Xuduan Root (Radix Dipsaci) (each 1 liang), Xixin Herb (Herba Asari) (remove stems and leaves, 0.5 liang), Huangqi Root (Radix Astragali Membranacei) (crushed, 1.5 liang), Zhuzhi Pig Fat (Adipatum Sus) (3 jin).
The above nine ingredients, excluding the fat, are crushed. Soak in half sheng of wine overnight. Boil the fat, add the herbs. Simmer until Baizhi turns dark red/black. Filter through cloth. Store in porcelain. Apply three to four times daily.
Formula for Shengji Gao (Muscle-Generating Ointment) to treat various carbuncles and abscesses after draining pus and blood, addressing deficiency and fatigue:
Huangqi Root (Radix Astragali Membranacei), Danggui Root (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (each 3 fen), Shengdihuang Fresh Rehmannia Root (Radix Rehmanniae Recens) (1.5 liang), Fangfeng Root (Radix Saposhnikoviae) (forked parts removed), Dahuang Rhubarb Root (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei), Shaoyao Root (Radix Paeoniae Alba), Huangqin Root (Radix Scutellariae) (remove black heart), Chuanxiong Rhizome (Radix Chuanxiong), Xuduan Root (Radix Dipsaci), Fuzi Aconite Lateral Root (Radix Aconiti Lateralis) (raw, peel and navel removed), Baizhi Root (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Gancao Root (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis), Xixin Herb (Herba Asari) (remove stems and leaves, each 0.5 liang), Zhuzhi Pig Fat (Adipatum Sus) (2 jin).
The above fourteen ingredients, excluding the fat, are all crushed. Soak in half sheng of vinegar overnight. Add the fat. Place in a porcelain vessel and steam in a steamer for half a day. Strain through cloth. Store in porcelain. Apply to the sore three to four times daily.
Formula for Congrong Gao (Cistanche Ointment) to treat back carbuncles and abscesses that have ulcerated but fail to grow flesh, warming the muscles and drying the sore:
Roucongkong Cistanche Stem (Caulis Cistanches) (1 liang), Danggui Root (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Shujiao Sichuan Pepper (Fructus Zanthoxyli) (remove eyes and closed-mouth ones, stir-fry until sweat appears), Xixin Herb (Herba Asari) (remove stems and leaves), Wuwei Aconite Root (Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii) (each 0.5 liang), Xiebai Scallion Bulb (Bulbus Allii Macrostemonis) (7 stalks), Shengdihuang Fresh Rehmannia Root (Radix Rehmanniae Recens) (dried, 1 liang), Sheyancao Herba Patriniae (Patrinia Herb), Baizhi Root (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae) (each 0.5 liang), Banxia Rhizome (Rhizoma Pinelliae) (1 liang), Gancao Root (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis) (0.5 liang), Zhuzhi Pig Fat (Adipatum Sus) (2 jin).
The above thirteen ingredients, excluding the fat, are crushed. Soak in half sheng of vinegar overnight. Boil the fat, add the herbs. Simmer until Baizhi turns dark red/black. Strain through cloth. Store in porcelain. Apply to the sore three to five times daily. Continue until healed.
Formula for Mianhong San (Cotton Red Powder) to treat sore swellings, generate muscle, and stabilize pain:
Hanshuishi Aragonite (Armeniacum) (calcined to powder, 2 qian), Dingfen Minium (Massa Plumbi Oxidi Rubra), Longgu Fossil Bones (Os Draconis et Mammutis) (pounded and ground), Rushiang Resin (Resina Frankincense) (each 1 qian), Ganyanzi Dry Rouge (add enough to turn the powder red).
The above five ingredients are pounded, sifted into a fine powder. Apply into the sore and cover with paper.
Formula for Bapi San (Phellodendron Bark Powder) to treat malignant sores that do not heal for a long time:
Huangbai Phellodendron Bark (Cortex Phellodendri) (ground, 3 fen), Xi-ci-mo Fine Porcelain Dust (1 fen), Gancao Root (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis) (ground, 1 qian).
Mix the above three ingredients evenly. Apply dry to the sore.
